A cab from the centre of town to La Curva is 5 sol.
Don't go late though. I arrived at 11 PM and it as almost dead. Only ugly old hoes.
The taximan told me best time is around 7 PM.

I went to a club on Calle de Sol I think it was called Memorada or something similar. About 12 girls inside. A couple of 7's and 8's inside. The girl I took has since been crazy for me and keeps emailing me all the time and gave me her home phone number.
I fucked her 3 times in about 1.5 hour. I paid 20 soles for a can of beer, 20 for her leaving the bar, 25 for the hostal and 80 for the girl. She never asked money and I could have run off without paying, but off course I paid her when we got back to the club. I think she didn't ask for money so I would feel obliged to stay with her as she enjoyed my company.

Mama Africa on the Plaza de de Armas seems to be renamed into Mama America and is filled with tourists. Some European girl walked up to me but we were standing in front of the speakers and after I yelled 3 times "What!" she went off. I hit on the waitress who was drop gorgeous. She gave me her email address so we could hook up later if she went to Lima, but I lost it
I hooked up with another hot latina and she was ready to go to a hostal to do absolutely everything, but her brother wouldn't let her leave. BASTARD!

    Langer,

Ask any taxi driver and they will tell you where La Curva is. I've never been there. I hear it's on the outskirts of town. Taxis are dirt-cheap in Cuzco, so it shouldn't cost you more than 5-7 soles to get there.

Also check out the Blue Sky club on Avenida Sol.

There are suppose to be two baņos de turcos in Cuzco. The first is Baņos Sauna Sol y Mar, Belen 494 Int. 6. Their phone number is 23 1475 cell number is 65 3547. The second is Silent Sauna spa Baņos Turcos located at Calle Quera 253 - phone 23- 1504.

Let us all know about your adventures.

    Hi Langer,

Not too many present posts on where to get pro action in Cuzco. So, check out Nibu's Archives. La Curva is suppose to be the best place in town. For non-pro action check out Mama Africa on the Plaza de Armas. There are numerous strip-clubs on the Calle de Sol. Remember, the sluts are cheaper and better in Lima. I'll update everyone on where to find the action in Cuzco in September-October after I return there.

When are you going to Cuzco? I'll be there at the end of September for a month or so.

Be careful on getting ripped off on tours. Check out my previous post where I helped save Dan C. $600. Tours guides were asked him for $900 and he emailed me and I told him how he could do it himself for $300. He wrote me back and sure enough, he did the tour himself for only $300. Write me at DanDaMan93906@yahoo.com if I can help you out with any info on hotels, tours, airlines, restaurants, cholitas, etc.

Enjoy Cuzco! It's my favorite place on the planet.

    [i]Hi Xthrax,

Glad to hear you are taking an extended trip similar to me. I can't tell you how many people have written me asking for info on Cuzco and are only going to spend 2-3 days there. I too am presently studying Pimsleur Portuguese and will be in Brazil. I plan on taking an Amazon River trip from Iquitos to Manaus to Belem. What is your anticipated route? I have contemplated entering Brazil from Madre de Dios (Puerto Maldonado) or Bolivia, but it seems much more difficult.

I will be gone for two months starting in Brazil, then going to B.A., Lima, La Paz, Cusco, then to San Jose, Costa Rica and finally onward to Guatamala City and Antigua Guatemala.
I will be posting reports of how they are (imho) relative to each other!
    Thank you for the help!

With respect to fresh cholita-hunting grounds close to Cuzco, I am going to visit Quillabamba. It's on the edge of the jungle on the other side of Machupicchu. I have met several cholitas on the internet from there and it seems like a great place to find cholitas.

With respect to shoes, I have given up on hiking boots and will be relying on my New Balance jogging shoes. In addition, I will have my clean and shinned Black Reebok DMX walking shoes for the city. Yes, it's a lot to haul, but I'm going to be gone for almost a year on this trip. I wouldn't count on getting shoes in Peru, especially if you have big american-size feet. In general, they just don't have larger size shoes there.

Incaroca, what you said makes a lot of sense and I agree. After the Iraq adventure, the world will only hate Americans more and this is not good for travellers like myself. I can only imagine what Peruvians are saying behind my back. The differences in culture are very interesting and necessary to understand if you are to be successful in Latin America. Often, what's acceptable and common behavior in the US is unacceptable in Peru. In addition to shoes, a good example is bargaining. Americans love to haggle and this is frowned upon by peruvians. So, if you want to impress your new cholita girlfriend, don't embarass yourself by bargaining or appearing cheap. After all, they're looking for rich gringos who don't worry about money.

One more tip for Cuzco, especially if you are flying there from sea-level, is to take a prophylatic for altitude sickness ("soroche" in spanish). The locals will all tell you to drink a lot of coca tea. However, you might also consider taking the drug Diamox (acetazolamide) which can be found at many pharmacies in Peru. If you decide to use the drug, I suggest Diamox 125 mg (half of one tablet) is taken twice daily as a trial at sea level for two days several weeks before a visit to high altitude. Assuming no unpleasant side effects are experienced, take the drug in the same dose for three days before arrival in Cuzco and thereafter for two or three days until you feel acclimatized, for about five days in all. It beats spending three days with a horrible headache due to altitude sickness.

If I can give anyone else any other tips, please write me at DanDaMan93906@yahoo.com.

Yes you will be a big hit with these cholitas if you are a gringo that speaks decent spanish. Appearance is very important to latins. They will think poorly of you if you are poorly dressed and groomed. One very important thing is to keep your shoes clean and shinned, !
Got Pimsleur Portuguese and speak Spanish like a 6 year old, thanks for other language help though!

    Clean Hiking Boots and Levis?
Any tips on how you guys pack to hunt Cholitas while on Vacation?

I was told to pack light, but I am also touring Brazil first. Later Guatemala.

OK to have one dress up shirt and khakis or levis and wear with boots? Or, are shoes cheap up there?
I will be in Central and South America about two months total and my list of crap to bring is getting huge. Better efficiency equals better mongering right?
I appreciate your quick responses to my previous question incaroca and Dandaman!
Also, is there a closer spot to Cuzco where there is fresh hunting grounds, besides Huaycayo?

    Hey dandaman!!

I agree with you that Spanish people hav a history in America to forget (murder, gold search, slavery)...its ok, but like all the other european empires. At least, now exist thousands of indigenous people in Peru, so...and in USA?? It exist a society of mestizos in USA?? No....only in the spanish countries!! We hadent problem to join us with indian girls, but repressive mentality anglosaxon was stronger, and avoid that!! I think that conquest was more effective there, there arent enough indians like in Peru.

But apart of that, I Think that peruvian people are very intelligent..why? because the majority of them that I have talked , said that they were proud of his origins mestizos, the mixture with spanish-indian people! They wanted to please me..and then always are complaining about the power and arrogant USA country!! So....It exist a contradiction? No, they only want to be good with the tourist, friend, lover...and they will change her plot depending on the person and his country!!

    Xthrax
About the question of cholitas....well, you dont have to go to a lost town in the country to find them. There are hundreds of cholitas studing in Cusco, Huancayo, etc... who speaks english, want to travel and know different people. With a few words of spanish you can be good!!

    xthrax,

i think you have zeroed in on the key to "penetrating" these cholitas and the culture (pun intended). you have to learn the language. the secret to learning a foreign language is to enjoy it. generally, you can't learn a foreign language easily in a classroom as there just isn't enough exposure by only attending a class. better to hire a tutor or spend time with spanish-speaking friends. by far the easiest and fastest way to start learning a foreign language is pimsleur (www.pimsleur.com). michel thomas is also very good and concentrates on the verbs. you can find both with peer-to-peer network programs such emule and winmx. in winmx visit the learn a language chat group (or language central). tell them that dandaman sent you.

yes you will be a big hit with these cholitas if you are a gringo that speaks decent spanish. strangely, although spaniards know the language, they are not well liked in peru (sorry incaroca). many peruvians expressed their resentment of spaniards with me, but i'm not sure why because in mexico everyone seemed to brag about their spanish ancestry. anyway, this puts us non-native speakers of spanish in a very positive light. incredibly, most peruvians assume that all the foreigners they see are americans, when in reality only about 10% are. too bad for us americans, because when an obnoxious european offends a peruvian, they will assume they are americans. so remember when you are in peru, you are not only representing yourself but your country (and members of the wsgforum). appearance is very important to latins. they will think poorly of you if you are poorly dressed and groomed. one very important thing is to keep your shoes clean and shinned, something that is not very important in the us. so please be respectful of the people and culture and let them know that those obnoxious, unbathed, poorly-dressed foreigners are not americans.

one last comment on nibu and his incessant insulting of cholitas. he has very eccentric tastes in women and activities. if you read through his archives you will see that he is fond of getting blow jobs from 65 year-old toothless *****s, which is fine, but to each his own. i remember telling him how i don't like old women and prefer younger cholitas with firm tits, and he replied "what's wrong with saggy tits." i'm going to stick with my young cholitas. they're the best!

[i]I agree with you Dandaman.....cholitas are the best!!
Maybe Nibu you dont like them, eveybody has different tastes, but I found a treasure with them!!
They are nice, shy, beatiful..and likes sex a lot!!
This place was Huancayo, in the middle of the sierra, a city full of indigenous people...so, its easy to find and try a lot of those beatiful inca princesses. In the Plaza the Armas, and specially evening-night, there are a lot of them walking, chating...and If you are a westerner maybe all the eyes will looking at you!! You are rare in this off-tourist cities!!
If you talk decent sapanish you can start conversations with a lot of this girls, invite them to go to a chifa, etc.. [i]

hey incaroca, or others with knowledge of this phenomenom,
how decent is decent spanish? i know basic verbs, some sex lingo from TJ, but my opportunity to go to Peru arrived before my mastery of Spanish.
Any tips on picking up indig non-pro girls that are really into westerners?

I would like to share the following email messages that I received and sent with everyone in the Forum. Hopefully this will prevent anyone from being "taken to the cleaners." The messages go from newest (on top) to oldest (on bottom). If anyone else needs any advise on Cuzco, please contact me at DanDaMan93906@yahoo.com. This advise seems to have saved Dan C. $600.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hey DanDaMan:

Thanks for the advice, I did it my self as you suggested and spent a little over 300 total. Macchu Pichu was awesome though I wish I had spent a night there instead of cramming it all into one day.

I am in Miraflores as I write this and had a great time. I shall return!

    Thanks again for the advice

    Dan C

    Hi Dan C,

Boy did they try to take you to the cleaners. Rates will be a little higher in the summer, but the summer soltice festival is over, so you should be okay. I recommend making reservations before hand and you can cancel or negociate a better rate once you get there. I only paid 9$ per night (breakfast included) so there are plenty of bargains. I'm not sure what class of hotel you are interested in, so let me know if you want the royal treatment or the economy route that I take.

A word of caution. You will probably spend your whole time in Cuzco with altitude sickness if you don't take some medicine first. Have your doctor prescribe some prophylactic treatment. Also, leave Cuzco as soon as possible and head for Machupicchu, which is lower in elevation. The best tour company is SAS. Tours are relatively cheap. A friend got me an all day tour of the sacred valley for $12, and an afternoon city-tour for $6. Also, flights can be very cheap and should not be over $150 round-trip. Check out www.taca.com. I got a round-trip ticket via the internet for $125 (tax included).

So, I would guess you shouldn't have to pay more than $300 for your trip to Cuzco (airfare included).

Be sure to write me and let me know what kind of hotel you want.

You're going to love Cuzco and Machupicchu!

    Hello DanDaMan,

Thanks for your informative posts on WSG. I will be going to Peru next week. Some tour guide wanted $900 for 2 night/3 days in Cusco and MP.

I decided to fly from Lima myself. But I will be a fish out of water when I land there. I would appreciate it very much If you could recommend a hotel and a good tour company.

    Thanks very much

I was in Cusco on my way to MP (5 day hike - what a TRIP) so I figure I'd put in my 2 cents on the hobby. I was only in Cusco for a day before and a day after my MP excursion but here goes.

All this talk of cholitas is pretty interesting to me. I WISHED I had KNOWN! lol, but...

As you all may know there are several discos in Cusco and they ALL look to have as many people pack them every night. There are girls hired to stand outside in the street and pass out free drink cards and dance cards to get you to choose THEIR disco. Some of these girls are hot as hell.

On our night AFTER our hike, we were all high on life and could do no wrong. So I met this 18 yr old (or so she said) local girl passing out drink cards. About 5' tall very slim, caramel skin (oh she had great skin) loooong brown straight hair all the way down her back (34b or so) her butt fit into the palm of my hands like 2 ripe oranges! I made it CLEAR to her that a drink was fine but I wanted MUCH more for my friend and I that evening. We went upstairs, bellied up to the bar and got a beer. 10 minutes later, the ballsie lil ho called my bluff LOL She brought over a friend for my friend and the GAME WAS ON.

We left, went to her local home to smoke a little weed and then negotiated FS for only 20 soles a piece. Of course I forked over the $4 so my friend could have a good time because thats the kind of guy I am! Not bad, and she was terrific. Only BAD part? When I walked her back to the disco she was saying hi to EVERY GUY we walked past on the street. THANK GOD I own stock in Trojan!

That was the 1st time I ever paid for sex (except when I was MARRIED) and I wasn't disappointed. A very positive experience for this newbie!

Ok Razor! You have reason, most of the cholitas of Cuzco and other places arent 100x100 pure race. But the cholitas that I fucked (what a nice regard ), maybe had 80 of indian and 20 of spanish or other type, so fisically their appareance was more cholita type of girl (oriental eyes, large and brunnette hair and body) than european type.
Also I agree with you that Indian society are very conservative, so if you go to a mountain town wont be easy (maybe imposible) looking for a cholitas pussie....but city cholitas (like Cuzco, Huancayo, etc..) have and open mentality (well, most of them), and are fascineted with american or european culture and way of life (and of course...trying to hunt some tourist). So, its easy to have succes.
    Are you agree?

  15. #17
    Hi Incaroca,

I think you're wrong when you said you're having an indigeneus women in Cusco, they're actually MESTIZAS (Blend between indigenous-spanish ancestors) the real "indiecitas" are hard to get, they live mostly up on the
mountains. I'll suggested to go to Chincheros, Pisac or other small villages and maybe you'll know (sexually) these girls, but I doubt it. Las cholitas can be find in any South American country from Mexico to Argentina.

    Happy hunting..Enjoy it.
