There were some non-pro clubs but we didn't enter.

Tickets for the train can sell out, so we bought ours a few days before through a travel agent. PM for details.

    Artisto Art,

Did you find or see any reg. non pro clubs? How about Mama Africas'?

Did you buy your train ticket the night before or online?

    Thanks

    Doc Bill,

A few nitespots in Cusco but no real action. Go to Sebastian; there's a dsico called Decameron Club, as noted below. You'll be the only gringo there and you better speak some Espanol. Going with someone would be a good thing as I question the area.

Once inside there are many girls (after 11:30pm). This isn't Medellin so don't expect much, but there is the ocassional looker. They'll start out at 300 soles, knowing your'e a gringo, but can get them down to 100-150, Plus exit charge of course, I believe 30-40 soles.

Not the swankiest place but if you gotta bust a nut in Cusco, it's an option.

I'd spend the nite in Cuzco, so you can adjust to the altitude, because you will get altitude sickness, most likely. I'm in pretty good shape and thought; 'no way', but it hit me for about 24 hrs. Best thing is if hotel has oxygen in lobby. Coca tea helps but nothing compared to Oxygen.

Book the train to MP asap as it fills up quickly. 4 price ranges: First Class - Hyram Bingham to back packer. They start from 6;:30am thru 9:30 am. It's 3-4 hour trip depending on which one you choose. Wear a sweater/jacket as it is freezing that time in the morning. The lower end trains have no heat. It was so cold we saw our breath! The train ride is spectacular for scenery.

If you want more than one day at MP, you can stay in Aquas Calinetes, the city at the base of MP. You can also stay at MP; There is only one hotel and it's 5 stars starting at $400 a night.

Cusco hotels will charge a joiner fee, up to $30US. Yes. Their way of saying they don't want you bringing girls back. It happened to us and turned into a 'situation'. lol

Cusco has lots of girls walking around and if you got the slightest bit of game I'm sure they would play. They would appreciate some taxi money I'm sure as most are poor.

    PM for any more info.

    Bueno suerte amigo!

I just made a reservation at Los Apus, $89/night. I just found it in my Moon Guidebook and it was highly recommended. They are at www.losapushotel.com. Let me know if that doesn't work.

This will be my first time in Peru, so I could use some help from some of you vets: How many days is good to spend in Cuzco? And what's the best plan of action: To spend time in Cuzco first or do Machu Pichu first? And how to get from Cuzco to MP (or vice versa)? Sacred Valley - should I stay there a day or two or just pass through?

And then, of course, there's the mongering. What's the scene like in Cuzco?

    Thanks, guys!

    Doc

Be interested in a good hotel if you find one. And any other info as I will be there end of August. Have fun at Machu Pichu and the chicas if there are any.

    Report on the Decameron Club

Copy of my report at CRT, FYI:

Quick report on Cusco. Take your Diamox - I'm sensitive to altitudes and it worked great, so much so that I had spare energy to try the local talent. Being that it is off season, or perhaps police pressure, there were 0 advertisements for chicas in the El Sol newspaper. But datamining a recent list from perutops, I made about a dozen calls; most of them were disconnected. The one chica that was still working, Karina, I think I scared off in my phone call to her with my lousy spanish. She was incall in a not so nice area of town. Another chica, whose name I forgot but has her own website, wanted $100/hr. No gracias. But she speaks Ingles.

So I went to the Decamaron, the highest end club in Cusco, which is a relative term. It's not bad, an OK place and not too loud so one can actually have a conversation with the chicas. Got there at 11PM, I was the only guy in the place. Saw three chicas sitting in a set of couches and went over to talk. Bought them a pitcher of drinks and we had a good time for about an hour joking and bullshitting (all in Spanish, no Ingles at all). Names, Valerie (too thick), Alaska (spinner) and another tall one, who is the prettiest, Lucero, a touch hard-core but great sense of humor. They're friends and all live together and hang at the club together, so they're easy to spot. Making a hard decision, I took Alaska because she's a spinner from Iquitos, and I like the selva/jungle chicas. I think we agreed upon 150 soles. She unfortunately was mediocre, but had a nice body, OK face and had an orgasmo that woke up half the hotel I suspect. Next time, I'd pick the taller one, Lucero.

Basically the Decameron is worth the trip, but you will have to do your homework in the place, as there are a lot of gorditas and the level of beauty is not nearly as high as Lima. 11PM at the earliest.

    CUZCO massages

have been in cuzco last week, on cusco in general, i have to agree with the other contributors, who are not too enthusiastic about cusco. it is cold, heavy rain, problems with the altitude, did not feel really good with it etc.

i could escape from the hotel and my sleeping partner for a few hours, with having a previous posting in mind about a 4 hands massage with extras at the plaza de armas, i am on my way, have found that place quickly, with your back to the cathedral it is almost at the left corner in a small shop under the arch, name ying & yang.

walked inside, nobody at the desk but i have seen trough some not clear glass window that someone was getting as massage in that room, not so nice and no good sign, i just left the place and came back a few hours later.

my spanish is good enough for good conversation, so i discussed with the lady at the front desk the massage possibilities, there massage treatment she say’s. is a mixed up from different styles like hot stone and oil etc, but not a real aromatherapy or a full oil as on there leaflet mentioned, this did not sounds good, the price was 80 soles for 1hour, that’s expensive, (maybe include hj relax? ) was asking for a four hands mass. as the name ying & yang is a bali type massage with 2 girls (she did not know is), she told me that they never have done this, on the leaflet is mentioned that there are 10 girls working, asked here to see them to choose but she was there just alone and maybe a extra girl at evening. i had a look in the room and there are 3 table beds with no curtain between, not good looking to get extra’s when there are more clients.

final question, do you provide "erotic massage" or "relax at the end" received a big no as it was a therapeutic only massage place, so i told here to be back at evening and left the place.

    other massage places.

checked all of them around the plaza and the side streets.

starting from the monasterio hotel entrance, walking the street down, 30meter left, my first stop, asked the price, 30 soles /1h, open curtain, no doors, rain and cold, did not see meself lie on the table bud naked in the cold, asked for extra’s no way

after 20 meter, 1e street right, 6 or 7 mass. places with girls outside the door to give you a small leaflet and info (this was a better sign to ask info on extra’s). price was everywhere 30 soles/h, i asked for " erotic massage or relax or extras " all girls told me, forbidden or not possible, i told them that they would get a good tip, no way, some girls have turned there back and walked inside. this was not a good sign to me.

back to the plaza de armas and other side streets.

checked a few with the same result, even olga, some are hairdresser salons with a mass. table behind the curtain in the same room, imagine to have a hj or bj with other women around having there air done,

on the right corner, closed to the little square a good looking girl approached me (must have seen me coming out from that other place) asked me if i wanted a real good massage for 30 soles,

i say yes and i told here my conditions: clean place, not cold, clean sheets and towels good strong aromatherapy and " relax " at the end. ok agreed. she took me to a back street to a private nice apartment, a room with 2 beds nice and clean (just new painted) and she switched a electric blower on, good sign.

on the table, i was covered with a lot of towels and a blanket on me but it was still not a comfortable feeling atall, this was also a bit unhandsome to receive a good mass. with long strokes but everything she did was professional work. no complains so far.

at the end she told me, ok finished, i asked here for the extra hj for a good tip, she refused for a wile but i kept the pressure on and she told me right away that this extra was 30 soles, ok for me, its only 10$, will see.

she pulled the towels in the middle a bit away and started massaging my groin area and pulling a few time on my sleeping willy, i told here how i want it and i asked here to slow down but i think she knows where my "switch" was and i came before i even had a hard one, there was nothing erotic or sensual at all involved, she hade no knowledge how to please like they do in thailand, let you cum within a minute is not a art, the contrary.

damage was only 60soles or 20$, cheaper than ying & yang and better than nothing.

when i paid and left she begged me not to tell anybody about the extra " due to the law " as she would hang" and she give me a sign as a rope around here neck.

have been half a day in agua callientes when i came from machu picchu, wanted to go to the hot spring bath’s but it was all day so heavy raining and i was wet till the bone and took the train to cuzco, could not check out the places there. not in the mood.

conclusion, cuzco area is not the right place for this kind of extra’s and i think that your body is not in the mood for big action due to altitude difference.

    Shortbuss,

It's been a couple of years since I've been to Cusco, but I stayed at the Emperador and also at El Prado. Both were fairly nice and about $35-45/night. There was another place I stayed too but I can't remember the name. All of them allow guests, but you get a $20-25 fee added to your bill for that night.

I'm not sure what all these guys are talking about. I had tons of success in Cusco, and didn't pay a dime. Just hit the clubs around the plaza and they come right up to U. I wanna go back! Good luck!

    Cuzco 'till Thursday

Just arrived in Cuzco. I do know one thing: My little bit of butchered spanish-speaking ability is not gonna be enough for me to get around comfortably while I'm here. After Cuzco, Lima.

Wandered the smaller plaza west(?) of the main plaza this evening, met a younger girl(20-22yo), Juana. Tiny thing. The conversation was so ackward, as she knew no english, and my spanish sucks. Could barely make out that she wanted to go to the states. Was wondering, what is a discrete way of asking if a girl is working en espanol? I had no idea, so we parted ways after about 20 minutes.

When I came back to my hotel, the Anden, the guy at the front desk had a good laugh when I mentioned the possibility that she was not working. Is it true that most peruvian women are shy? Say it isn't so. So I guess I missed out on an oppurtunity. Will post further if I find anything.

If there's anyone with some mongering suggestions(preferably SW's) please post or PM. Thanks in advance.

Also, any mongering advice for Aguas Calientes? I plan on staying there for one night, so I may get to Machu Picchu early on at least one day. Let me know.

    gracias

    Non-mongering sightseeing

I came up here on the standard 3 days and 2 night junket. It cost $547 including flights, airport transfers, tour of Cusco, train station transfers in Cusco, Vistadome train ticket, bus from Aguascalientes to Machu Picchu, tour of the ruins and lunch afterwards, and the hotel in Cusco.

Besides it´s value of providing a fig leaf cover sightseeing excuse for us mongers to the folks back home, Machu Picchu just can´t be missed if you´re in Peru. Trust me, once you´re there you´ll be glad you took time off from bopping lovely Peruanas for a bit of history and culture. The scenery is stunning. The guide has been visiting the site for 40 years and wrote a book on the place. He knows lots of cool nook and cranny stuff that most don´t.

It´s really worthwhile to stay longer than the 3 days. It´s especially a good idea to stay in Aguascalientes an extra day so you can trek to the outlying places, especially the top of the famous mountain that´s in all the photos.

Cusco itself was worth the afternoon of sightseeing. As for nightlife and mongering, I didn´t have much of a chance. The altitude factor (11,000+ feet) hit me hard, even right out of the plane door I was huffing. And it wasn´t just being out of breath. It also affects the digestive system. So I wasn´t feeling at all well for either of these two nights, and wasn´t really up for any adventures to the listed mongering places here. Early morning wakeup calls to catch the train or the plane back were the clincher. Keep in mind that Machu Picchu is about 3500 feet LOWER than Cusco, so there´s not so much effect there.

I did manage to wander around Plaza Armas a bit. I can say I saw absolutely no women looking available, pro or non-pro. I also had a look in at the sports bar which is right on the Plaza. There was one table of non-pro looking women there. But knowing that it would probably take time and work plus struggling with said altitude issues put me off from trying.

So if you´re coming to Cusco it´s worth allowing a few more days here to get acclimated and to see more of the sights. But if you´re like me you´ll be thinking that if you never hear ´El Condor Pasa´ again it will still be too soon.
