I have no experience with mamajuana but I've tried Siete Raices and many other popular "aphrodisiac" liquors from the peruvian amazonia. I can tell you they are just as aphrodisiac as any sweet macerated liquor. I particularly like Siete Raices (I allways have a bottle at home) but not because its supposedly aphodisiac properties but because I like it.

As Mr Enternational just wrote, let's just stop believeing in "spanish fly", although the aphrodisiac properties of any sweet tasting alcoholic beverage in a romantic enviroment are not to be dismised either ha ha ha.

Just thought I'd share an experience I had in Lima this past August.

Day 1: I arrived to Lima and stayed at the Sheraton near el centro. The hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and the area appeared safe overall. I've stayed there several time for work trips but this past August I traveled to Lima three days early to try to check out the monger scene. My first attempt was to hit up photokines. Needless to say, this was a big mistake. It feels like this website is full of bait and switch and fake pictures. Even the apparent verified profiles are fake.
