[Lima Busy]

If you have a four hour lay over in Lima between your incoming domestic flight and the check-in time for your outgoing international flight, which would be most convenient Cucardas or Trocadero?

The plan is to drop the bags at a near by cheap/safe hotel go to one of these two mataderos, then back to the hotel for a shower and back to the airport.

Is there a better way to end the Peru trip?

Any hotel suggestion for the above?

Closest hotel is "hotel manhattan" and I believe will provide schuttle service to and fro airport. It is a matter of preference but troc is closer to the airport as it is in Callao as opposed to central Lima.

I will be taking my newbie trip to Lima in a few short months. Are there are any more high end clubs with nice rooms on premise like Las Suites de Barranco?

Just quick off topic, anybody seen the movie Dias de Santiago. Close or way off on Lima life? Or is it a relevant as Taxi Driver was on New York City?

Hobby Fan, You might want to try R&V 3 as well also in Santa Catalina. They have rooms with Suana and Jacuzzi all in the same room and the same high quality of service.rbc100

I was so smitten I wanted to take her out and enlisted David's help to negotiate with the mamasan. Unfortunately, even with David's charm and my money mama would not budge (though she kindly offered me a second hour onsite for another 50Soles LOL!)

Surely the reason you are hearing no good reports is that she keeps waiting for a chivalarous and suave customer to charm her the way Surfista did LOL!

Hope you don't mind if I take this one! Yes, it is the real Camila who is back! Unfortunately I have not heard any good reports on her performance. That bieng said "most Newbies" still report fairly good experiences at R&V while Lima regulars say it has gone down the tubes.

Anyone have a suggestion for a motel that will accomodate more than a couple people (say 5 or 6)?

Hollywood Suites looked like a nice place but emailed them and they said 3 max to a room?

When you take that sauna where is your stuff ? No matter how little it may be you need to get back to your hotel ?

Before you even enter the establishment, they have some lockers that you put cell phones and other valuables into.

Thanks for the nice words, I was going to drop you a line when I was there, but I got too busy too fast LOL. Next time for sure which will be sooner than later.

The Cat: I am in my late late thirties, but was told by the Peruanas that I looked 30-35, so I didn't argue LOL. I did hit Tequilas one night for about an hour. Nothing jumped out as far as talent, it wasn't bad though. Kind of looked at it as a last resort.
