There is light at the end of the tunnel!

You should celebrate meeting this cutie, 19 yo and gone out only once.

Longer post to come after my trip, but here's something I'll mention.

    1. Don't view it as paying for sex. View it as $100 USD is enough to make a significant impact on someone's life. Instead of 'paying for sex' be proactive with a "Here's $50 (going rate for sex) to take your pet to the vet / buy new shoes / whatever. " Engage in conversation, find out what they want, and reach an unspoken agreement that the help will continue if they keep sleeping with you.

    2. If you really don't want to pay for sex. Peruvians are some of the most sexually aggressive women I've met. You'll have an easy time as a gringo in Lima if you aim for your own age group to about 15 below your age. You'll still have to do some courting. Buy drinks for her and her friends, take her to dinner, something like that.

    3. Venezuelans will always ask for money. There are lots of Venezuelans in Peru. Unfortunately, they're some of the hottest women around (except Colombians) with moderately European features. If they're not asking for money, there's a high chance they plan to rob you.

    4. A lot of women here just want to be treated nicely to things they couldn't normally do. Like. An exceptionally nice 5* dinner, think foie gras, for two might run you $50 USD. Plenty of women are open to being paid in gifts / experiences rather than money.

    No more curfew

Curfew is ending Friday, just in time for the Colombia / Peru match. Either way, there's going to be a ton of partying going on, people letting out a lot of pent-up stress.

    Have fun.

Many ISG forums seem to have one very dedicated monger who starts out innocently enough, making recommendations to fellow mongers.

At some point, the dedicated monger leverages those recommendations and their credibility into free sex or kickbacks from girls. Later, they are tempted to cross the line to full-fledged pimp. I also recall when the "Dave" of an Asian post get busted. He's now doing a very long prison sentence. I really liked the guy. I have used the services of the "Daves" of the Mexico City CDMX and an Eastern European threads. The dude in that Eastern European country actually told me his fee kickback fee comes to EU50 when setting you up with top talent. Plus whatever the girls give him for free to get and stay on his list. This is a country where prostitution is tolerated, but not pimping.

These monger-turned-pimp guys must be all over ISG country forums. (The child sex stuff about David - I don't know. If he did it, it's obviously horrible. However, I also know authorities throw that in pretty easily with minimal evidence as that kind of conviction makes headlines/gets promotions.).
There is Cuba Dave as well that spent some time in Costa Rica Jail for basically saying prostitution was accepted in Costa Rica.

No. I like to manually put mine on the Claro network though. When it is on automatic it will jump on Movistar which is doo doo.

The Lima airport has Wifi you can use. Install Uber & Whatsapp & Google Voice (for phone number verification texts.).

Airport taxis are typically OK, but Uber will get you to your destination. Get the wifi info for your hotel / AirBNB beforehand if you can. You can also use Uber prices to check if a taxi is ripping you.

Chips are at the mall at Claro - 5 soles for 200 mb data over 5 days, and you can reload it online. If you've got an E-SIM, they're clueless at the store, but you can switch it over in configurations. There'll be Wifi at the mall too, if you need to use a translator app.

The Tinder girls here are extremely helpful in my experiences, everyone really wants you to enjoy Peru.

Have some basic Spanish before you come.

Sadly I'm headed back to the states soon, but that just means there's a long report to come.

You will definitely get ripped off at that airport if you do not know what you are doing. When I arrived I went outside and was about to walk to the street where I get my usual taxi to Lince. A guy stopped me and asked where I was going. When I told him he said 300 soles. LOL. I had never heard a price anywhere near that before. I just kept walking. Then a guy driving by stopped and asked and he told me 30 soles. That is the usual price that I pay so I hopped in.

    SIM card

The internet in the airbnb that I was staying in was not worth a damn. I decided it was time to get a new SIM in Peru to use for faster internet than my USA T-mobile plan was giving me. The first time I got one was like 15 years ago. Back then I just went to the normal check out counter at Saga Falabella department store to purchase it. These days you have to go to a service center of the carrier. (There is a carrier called Bittel and you can buy those SIMs damn near anywhere by just forking over the cash, but I am not familiar with any of the services.).

I went to the Claro desk at Plaza Vea in Lince and the guy told me I had to go to a service center in San Isidro or downtown. He wrote the address down for the one in San Isidro and I went the next day.

Simple process. All I had to do was hand over my passport to the agent and pay 5 soles for the SIM. She can add you a monthly internet plan for different amounts there or you can add your own shorter term plans through SMS. I forgot to ask her how much time between topups I would have before I would lose the number.

When I went to the Claro store in the airport to inquire, they told me a SIM card was 70 soles. She tried to explain the internet plan that it came with but I did not even let her start talking.

Who knows? Anyway, I've now read through the reporting by the Peruvian media about David's case. Whether or not he actually possessed child porn I cannot say. However, the arrangement for the sale of the children appeared to out of David's orbit, and I suspect US / Peruvian LE trumped up the charges on David for their own benefit. No one defends a child sex trafficker.

Having said that, David put himself in that position by making the transition from legal (in Peru) monger to illegal pimp. He concealed to mongers he set up that he was taking one-third of the proceeds. Not only putting himself in legal jeopardy for pimping, but taking advantage of the working women and fellow ISG posters.

Strutting around Peru like a gringo big shot, David probably thought he could talk or bribe his way out of any issues with LE. Wrong, I'm afraid. I've observed a few other Dave-style ISG "pimps" around the world. I suspect they will meet the same fate.

    Lima after dark

I am in Lima now looking for action,. I was here about 10 months ago and had a great time. Last time I was her I was in calle pizza about call it a night due to curfew when cabbie told me about an all night club. It was called Heram Club it was fill with chicks mostly Colombians but chic from everywhere too (Peruvians and Venezuelans). Place was expensive you could take out chicas or rent room there. From what I remember it was 400-600 soles for chic a then of course they drinks you spend. It reminded me of more expensive tequila rock. Fun places for a night but won't hang there ever night. I was able to get numbers when I was there meet girls after or before they worked for 300 soles. If some wants to grab a drink let me know.
