I'm an American black guy in my early 30s who is thinking about going to Lima early next year. So the quesiton I have is, how are the mongering opportunities for black guys in Lima? Is it the same as white mongers?

The more I think about it, the more I believe I was charged gringo rates. One session (I did pay for extras) and four hours of relaxation time ran my bill up to about 300 soles. In Lima terms, this may be a bit exorbitant but I felt it was totally worth it.

BTW - I am stuck in Cusco and suffering from some mild altitude sickness so I am sorry to say that there will not be any field reports from this area. All the coca tea and aspirin are not helping so I have no desire to research here.

Having spent 10 days in Lima this month, I thought I’d share my thoughts and impressions of the local scene. This may not be very useful for the regulars, but hopefully will aid those thinking of making their first trip . . .

First off, the chicas of Lima are some of the friendliest ladies around, and can provide a GFE at least equal to that of Buenos Aires or the DR. They seem friendlier and more talkative than many of their sisters in other countries. Secondly, Lima has a very diverse sex scene including saunas, casas, SWs, MPs, out-call, strip clubs and pick-up joints. Something for everyone regardless of your preferences.

I only sampled a small cross-section of the available options, but here are my top experiences:


1) Relax and Vida #1 (and also R&V #2) Carlos Villaran 121 behind Torre Interbank

This MP/Sauna has been much discussed on the Forum as well as on PeruTops. It was the first place I went to, and I was not disappointed. I have been to well over 100 MPs around the world and this chain is unique with an “over-the-top” level of GFE offered. If you are looking for raw, nasty sex you should look elsewhere. R&V offers more of a “geisha” experience with very attractive young women offering friendship, conversation, massage and unbelievable intimacy. Their massage skills are very good, but not great. It is the style and sense of intimacy that slowly overwhelms you. You usually end up with a glorified HJ/ BBBJ/ Russian ending (although someone at R&V #2 was getting full service in the next room while I was there) but that description hardly does justice to the actual experience. Yet I’m sure some guys end up mystified as to what the fuss is all about. A $50 hand job? You either get it or you don’t . . .

Cost is 80 soles entrada (60 at #2 which has no hot water) with a propina of 50 soles minimum to the chica. So total damage is between $35 and $50 US and is an absolute bargain. You get at least one hour in private, but end up spending about 90 to 120 minutes overall, depending on time spent talking in the lounge, having a drink or saying good-bye. The service here is uniform and repeatable, meaning that all these girls have been trained, usually by being tutored first hand during a 3-some with an experienced chica. Many guys have reported getting the 3-way training experience with a new girl. No better way to learn than that. But whoever is the mastermind behind the R&V style has very good taste. The girls are always well-dressed. No jeans and tennis shoes here. But neither do they have that strip club, dirty-girl look that too often passes for sexy. Make-up and clothes are tasteful. Things begin with the girls greeting you with a kiss and introducing themselves. Pretty typical stuff. But then they sit with you and work hard to engage in a reasonable conversion. No sense of competition or rush. Again, this doesn’t happen by accident. Education and training went into making a very enjoyable experience for the man - which is what this place is all about. Also the quality of women here is very high. They are noticably more attractive and classy than other sauna girls or Pizza Alley chicas.

If I had any complaint, it was that there was TOO much GFE at times. After you blow your load, you are only half done. She takes you into a sauna, soaps and washes you and then you end up in a large bath tub of hot water with a beautiful naked young girl lying on top of you while French kissing. Life is tough . . .

R&V gets my highest recommendation. A+. It’s unique – at least for me. Give it a try and see for yourself.


2) El Trocadero - Callao, near the airport and adjacent to Minka shopping area.

This place is the polar opposite of Relax and Vida. Whoring on an industrial scale. And strangely, I ended up going here twice and loving it. Even if it is not your cup of tea, you need to see it at least once. There may be larger "puterias" in the world, but I haven’t seen them. It almost looks like an abandoned woman’s prison –concrete block construction, lots of tiny rooms (cells) and one area that’s 2-level. It is actually 2 different businesses – El Salvaje on the right as you face the entrance (200+ rooms) and El Bote on the left (100 rooms). Each has a separate entrada of 20 soles – although there is usually a discount during the week. I paid 13s once and 12s the other time. Almost all chicas go for 20 soles ($7) for an unspecified time of 15 to 30 minutes. Some accept 15s and a few demand 25. Hours are 3-10pm, but best after 4:30 when more chicas start arriving. I would recommend the El Salvaje side, both for number and quality of the women.

Variety is a big part of the attraction here. Old and young. Gorda y delgada. Black and white. A few beautiful women and lots of average or less chicas. But something for everyone. Now this is probably the last place on Earth one would expect to find a GFE yet they are very friendly, love to talk and never seem to hurry you. I went with 6 different women here and talked with about 20 more. Treat them nice and they will reciprocate with a surprising level of affection. Despite the short-time aspect, I never felt rushed and stayed with several more than 30 minutes. The rooms look dirty – probably because they are. But their personal hygiene and safe-sex practices are really quite good. Again, not everyone will feel comfortable here. It can seem pretty hard-core and it helps to be fluent in Spanish. But if you want to check out a lot of ladies in a single place with little cost, this is the place. It looks like a scene from some horror movie, but that is all part of the adventure. 20 soles taxi from Miraflores. So cab fare, 3 chicas and entrance fee cost me $35 total. Quite a bargain. I enjoyed my time there.


3) Street Walkers of Pizza Alley - Miraflores

Before arriving in Lima, I had this mental image of a line of chicas up against a wall, Tijuana-style offering their wares. Not quite right. This tourist oriented area of bars and restaurants is more like an open-air pick-up bar. Now and then you see a couple of hard-core looking ladies, usually late around 1-2:30am. But mostly it is an entertainment/eating area with normal looking ladies trying to catch your eye. Most are reasonably attractive, 20’s to 30’s and charge 70 to 150 soles to return to your room. Make sure they understand the price is in soles not dollars. One chica agreed to 80, but in my apartment told me we had agreed on $80 US. No dice. Once she realized I was willing to walk her back out she went for the 80 s. Most all of these women are friendly, talkative, and sweet. Even after the above $80 disagreement, we had a surprisingly good time together.

Not all of these chicas are pure pros. And none of them are decked out in typical hooker garb which at least for me, is better. I found most to be fairly attractive, but that is more a matter of personal preference. Most are semi-pros working a couple nights a week to supplement their day jobs. One was a hairdresser, another an elementary school teacher! At least one – the hairdresser, was completely out of her league and had a hard time performance-wise. This was not the right job for her. Still, though incompetent, she was sweet and it all worked out.

Also in this area of Miraflores you can meet seemingly normal women who ask to share a cup of coffee or a drink. They often start by asking you what time it is as you walk down the street, just to strike up a conversation. Several mid to late 30’s ladies appeared to be grocery shopping with several bags, but wanted to sit and talk. Never took any of them up on the offer, but it is not hard to find company here. Most of the working girls are out between 8pm and 2am, but you can find some earlier as well. Just look “available” and walk slowly down the street. Soon someone will catch your eye with a smile.

My apartment was completely chica-friendly. Best to have them leave their ID at the front desk for your own protection. Never had a problem with stealing or even with a bad attitude. None had any type of time problem, trying to rush things. They seem content to lie naked in your bed, chit-chatting until you ask them to leave. One asked to stay the night, but I wasn’t interested. Overall, I was quite impressed with their attitude and sweetness. Of course YMMV and it helps to speak some Spanish. But it is not necessary. Highly recommended.


4) Tambo Spa and Sauna - Nicolas Arriola #501 La Victoria

I was anxious to try the saunas of Lima after reading the various postings both here and on PeruTops. This was the only one I made it to during my stay and I did not enjoy it very much. I believe it to be typical of most Lima saunas.

First off, you leave any valuables at the front desk in a small safe. You recieve a locker key and go into the changing room, where an attendant gives you a towel and a pair of plastic slippers. You can then use the shower rooms, steam room, dry sauna or Jacuzzi pool. My major complaint is that this is mostly a “guy” place, with lots of half naked (or fully naked) dudes watching TV with a beer, lying on recliners or shaving and brushing their teeth. More like an Army locker room than a sensual sex experience.

The massage girls have their own alcove sitting area where they wait for clients. You have to approach them as they will not enter the other men-only areas of the sauna. With only a towel wrapped around your waist, you go and make your choice, but it is hard to sit there half-naked with a boner and try to chat up 7 girls in white uniforms. I quickly made my choice – Nikol, a 24 yo mother of 2, who looked cute in her uniform, but was hiding some heavy poundage underneath. We went to a private massage room where she tried to up-sell into a massage suite upstairs for 150 soles more. No thanks. The massage was sub-par, easily the worst I received in Peru. The sex was better. CBJ followed by 3 positions, but nothing special. Total damage was 25 soles entrada plus 275 to the chica. I felt a bit ripped–off by the experience and it certainly was not worth 300 soles ($100). I also noticed upon leaving that most guys had paid 250-280 soles total, so maybe it was not just a gringo price.

But overall, one of the worst bargains in Lima. Not exactly terrible, just not for me. The communal high school locker room vibe was just not conducive to getting laid. I try NOT to walk around in a locker room with a hard-on. Then again, maybe that’s just me . . .

This area of Lima – on Arriola near the Cruz del Sur bus station is a sex hot spot. SWs, trannies, strip clubs, several spas and saunas (including R&V #2) all within a couple of blocks. However several are not clearly marked and it is dangerous walking around here after dark. Every cabbie told be to watch my back in this barrio so be forewarned. 7-10 soles cab ride from Miraflores.

For the price I would have had to pay (were they charging me the gringo rate? ), I did not feel the providers available warranted the cost. In Lima terms, this place was not cheap. However, I enjoyed my time here very much and I would highly recommend it.....

One of the joys of my kind of vacation is sleeping in late after a hard day of body smacking. After my extremely late breakfast at Cafe Beirut (mediocre at best), I went on a quest for a decent MP or "banos turcos. " World Travel 69's excellent list in the Lima Lists thread (7/08) was what I used for reference. I decided to start at the Dolphins spa in San Isidro. This place looked way too legit because this was a really nice hotel/casino and, at the time, there was a college students convention going on, so the hotel was full of beautiful young girls, but none of them were on the program for sure. Next, I tried Aquas Sauna and Spa but the address given in the list was taken over by the Karlos Ysique Salon. I thought "Aquas Sauna" just changed its name because this new place did offer massage. It was so much smaller than the Dolphins Hotel that I thought maybe I could score here. At worst, I will get a legitimate ("Yawn! ") massage out of it. Sadly, that is exactly what happened. The masseuse offered nothing and frankly her looks really did nothing for my libido, though she was a very nice young lady.

Damn, I have swung and missed twice and now I was down to my last strike; and I hate striking out. Since I was in Lince, I took a cab to the Finnish Sauna. Hallelujah! This is the place for me. Right after paying the front desk, I realized this place was sort of set up like the termas in Rio (but without the loud music, jiggling bodies, and obnoxious smoke). A bevy of attractive, scantily clad ladies were waiting for me in the lounge. I chose Yolanda because she had the biggest rack, even though it was obvious they were bolt-ons. Normally, I would not choose this kind of artificial stimulus but something about her demeanor sparked my interest. My instincts proved right. Once in the upstairs private room, we were bouncing all over the place. What do you expect? I had been working myself up in to a frenzy all day long, then only to be disappointed. Now I finally get the payoff, which incidentally flew all over Yolanda's body. For a change, this was one mess I was happy to help clean up. After a lovely dinner and a movie back in Miraflores, my last night before I left for Cusco and Machu Picchu had to be a special one. Around 11, I took a cab to the Casanova night club in San Isidro. This place was dead. There was only one other guy in the bar but there had to have been at least ten girls. After midnight, things had not changed much but this was when I met Valeria. She was 24, Incan (Asian? ) looking, and had an incredibly beautiful chest. To verify its authenticity, she allowed me to feel her up right there on the loveseat. I could not tell for certain because they felt just a little hard. It could have been just her age I thought. She did swear to me that they were real. It did not matter because I really wanted to bang her. After looking inside their small and uncomfortable looking private room, I decided to pay extra to take her back to the Maria Luisa. Once the action began in my suite, I found out that she did lie to me about her endowments. The suture scars were obvious. Besides the deceit, it also bothered me that she was not that energetic and all that chemistry we had back at the night club was all an act. I cannot judge Casanova's by this one bad experience but it is not exactly a stretch to say that the other chicas from this place cannot be that much different from Valeria. Who knows? Maybe I just caught her on a bad night. This is what they mean by YMMV. Of course, this was not a cheap lesson to learn but at least I can pass along my experience to you, my fellow hobbyists.

here is my trip report, for what it's worth. it won't be graphic or particularly exciting, but just to share.

it was my first trip to lima, and i went with two friends, one of whom had been there before.

having lived for years in san jose, costa rica, lima was surprising in a number of ways. the first thing you notice is how dry the landscape is. it reminded me a lot of southern california, though i am hardly an expert on la. the weather isn’t what most people would expect. it’s rather chilly and gray. i wore my light jacket almost constantly, day or night, except on the rare occasions when the sun shone. there’s an upside to this, though. even the tourists don’t wear shorts (except one die hard gringo i saw).

even with the dry cool climate, the city has numerous large and well landscaped parks. we stayed in one of the better neighborhoods, miraflores, but even the more run down areas were cleaner than san jose. san jose’s central park is a joke. in lima they wouldn’t even give that place a name. the lack of litter and garbage in the streets is a pleasant change, as was the fact that the streets were wide and traffic wasn’t horrible. walking wasn’t a dangerous enterprise either. the sidewalks were wide, well maintained and not cluttered with kiosks and sleeping vagrants. people don’t [CodeWord134] on the sidewalks either, strangely. they actually have public restrooms!

safety is another giant difference. my friends and i wandered around freely at night, sometimes into the wee hours of the morning, and never felt in danger. even at 4 am you would see people out walking through the parks. they seem to have actual policemen there who are more interested in preventing crime than gathering bribes. somebody should explain just how wrong that is!

another major difference is that the food is not only edible, but tasty! you could work up an appetite just walking around inhaling the smells coming from the restaurants. in addition to quality, there was variety. local food is good, with a focus on seafood, but there are plenty of other options. i wasn’t able to find gallo pinto, though, so maybe ticos should avoid the place.

shopping was another pleasant surprise. in addition to having shops with aisles big enough for more than one person at a time, prices are considerably lower than they are in costa rica. i haven’t done research on this but one obvious possible answer would be lower sales taxes and import duties.

as far as negatives go, the sheer size of lima makes it hard to get around. public transport comes down to taxis for visitors like me. buses don’t seem to operate on any understandable principle. the weather isn’t as nice as you might like, either. it’s cool (at least during the months from march to october) and the sun doesn’t come out often. another thing is that there isn’t too much to see in lima, although certainly more than san jose. but san jose is surrounded by some beautiful countryside and lima is surrounded by either more lima or desert. of course peru has many great sights and lots of natural beauty, but it’s not around lima.

but on to what isgers care about, women. i stayed in the maria luisa hotel, and was very satisfied. it was inexpensive but quite clean and comfortable, safe and no particular bs about bringing a girl to the room.

staying in miraflores, and having read isg lima reports till they were coming out my ears, i knew about tequila rock and pizza alley and a few other places. my first experience was with a street girl who followed us into a bar and struck a deal (100 soles). i did it more to get my 'feet' wet than anything else, and it turned out to be rather lame, but for that price i wasn't devastated. we ended up splitting time between about 4 places in miraflores, as far as bars go. the 'old pub' was a place we liked, on pizza alley. it was the one place that had music at a reasonable volume and a bar atmosphere. a younger guy might be able to score with a non pro there, maybe, but we just enjoyed chatting with other tourists and some locals. another was the flying dog across the street from tequila rock. my friend actually got a double freebie there, one of the two girls quite attractive. another place we stopped in in the afternoons was a place called the canadian bar, which was on the street that runs into pizza alley. it was a place i never quite figured out, at least as far as why anybody would go there. there were lots of cute girls working there, but they were not available to take out or do anything on site. they were basically there to allow you to buy them overpriced drinks and dance with you. it wasn't too bad in the afternoons, as the drinks were cheap enough for us, as long as we resisted the come ons from the girls.

the best find of my stay happened at tequila rock during an anniversary party they were having. a girl with a fantastic body began chatting with me, and seemed sincere. i bargained her down to 200 soles from the $100 she asked for, and off we went. her name was fabiola, i think. she is easy to recognize because of her cleft palate (hare lip). it's not noticeable visually but when she speaks it's apparent. she only speaks spanish and it took me a while to figure out why i was having such a problem understanding her. i'll post a fuzzy pic of her body. she wouldn't allow a face pic, unfortunately. well worth the money.

we ventured out the next few days to lince and found one of the private apartment places, luany's i believe it was. the girl i got was lukewarm but not bad. quite cheap and what the hell. dragon hostal said they didn't have girls available, which may have been just for me, or they may no longer be doing anything.

a few nights later we ventured into lima centro and checked out cucardas and la nenne. both are great values for the money, though the pick and go style doesn't really work well for me. the price and selection were good the night we were there and i can't complain about that. then we headed to the street with all the strip clubs, the name escapes me right now. we checked out a handful of places and generally saw lots of cute girls who would have been appealing if we had full tanks. the prices of drinks wasn't bad and all in all it was a good time. one place i particularly liked was called, i believe, palmeras or something similar.

my trip report should go on from here and include lots more but other than a rematch with fabiola (on her 'night off' and she spent 3 hours with me) i caught a virus or a combination of a cold and bad water, and i spent my last 5 days mostly confined to the hotel.

in terms of pure mongering, san jose is a lot easier to navigate and you can find a lot more options in a given night. lima is a far superior city, and fun can be had for sure. anyway, i apologize for this unspectacular report, but that's how my trip was, unspectacular.

I do not know how I can top yesterday's experiences but it certainly is going to be fun to try it. After escorting Sofia out of the suite at around noon, I actually slept some more. Aren't vacations great? Truthfully, I needed more rest because these Peruvian girls were wearing me out. In the mood for pizza for breakfast even though everyone else was having a late lunch, I went in to Shehadi Pizza, ordered the house pie, and was promptly told they had no pizza (WTF? ). I guess their lasagna would have to supply the nourishment and energy I am going to need for today's sexcapades. After the meal, I failed to find any MP's that were open in Miraflores. The ones listed near Tequila Rocks could not be found and the one listed on Arica St. North of Jose Pardo Blvd. Looked like it had been closed for some time. I hailed a cab and took a long, traffic filled ride to Las Cucardas.

Now, I don't have respiratory problems but for any guy thinking about coming down here, you have to be warned about all the dust and traffic-induced air pollution in this huge city. All the buildings were literally caked in dirt, making this place not particularly attractive. I guess the lack of rain has caused all this. Anyways, Las Cucardas looks kind of like a movie theatre on the outside but inside, it is set up (admission price, two corridors, and many small rooms) much in the same way as the Troca, albeit in a much smaller scale. The saving grace here is that they actually maintain this venue nicely. The providers, who also stand outside their room door, are a step up from Troca, too. This is the reason why this establishment costs more, but IMHO, the price is worth it. I am a "tit" man myself, and if I had passed up a chance to experience Julissa, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. She was 24, from the jungle, and had a perfect chest. Her jugs were big but honestly I could not tell if they were fake or not. Even Beverly Hills' best plastic surgeons could not do work this good. There were no suture scars or silicone hardness, but there was an exquisite natural droop. I examined them thoroughly when she was playing the cowgirl in all her bouncing glory. Nothing here could be better than the experience I just had with Julissa, so I just picked up my free drink at the bar in the back and walked around the place. The girls here kind of reminded me of strippers back in the US, complete with the obligatory boob jobs, tattoos, and hard life subtext. The biggest difference being that, at least here, you get to have much more fun with them.

La Nenne is a club right next to Cucardas but it literally is a much darker place, hence the lower cost. There were not that many guys in here but there were plenty of older, chubbier, and scarier women. When I walked to the back looking for the bathroom, I was accosted by "Gretita" and a couple of her Reubenesque (am I nice or what? ) friends. When I asked for the "bano, " Gretita was the only one who responded to me in English when she told me I could go in her room. When I entered, all I saw was a shower stall next to a bed in a very small room. She told me I can just relieve myself in the shower. On a class meter, this place is almost down there with the Troca. When I finished, I looked more closely at Gretita (who BTW lives up to her name) and figured she may be the best provider I am going to see in this place, so we struck a deal. As the clothes came off, it looked like I chose wisely. I suppose if you are not a "tit" man, she would be quite unattractive as she was not exactly svelte. But for a big guy like me, her great big, magnificent bosom just turned me on immensely. "Gretita" may not translate in to "great tits" in English but it might as well. Her name ranks right up there with some of the great, hilariously apropos names I encountered in Thailand, with the "Bang Sue" terminus on the Bangkok metro being my favorite. This bountiful woman gave me the second bouncing good time I had in the last three hours. I returned to Miraflores late in to the evening, but I was a very happy man.

I'm staying at the Marisa Luisa Oct 6-13, maybe longer. I would like to join someone on their next adventure to Troc or Relax Y Vida. I haven't been to either place and would like to be a wingman.
