This was my 8th trip to Lima since August 2014. I've seen a lot of changes throughout those years; mostly good, but after pinche covid, mostly bad. Having said that, it's still a great place to visit!

Logistics:

Flight:

I flew AA round trip from San Diego. Prices for flights have skyrocketed; just unbelievable! There were no covid tests required going to Peru or coming back to the US. All the extra paperwork, like the health questioner for Peru, no longer existed.

Travel insurance:

I purchased travel insurance from Travelex for 66 bucks. Why? During these times, "Quien sabe?

Logging:

I rented a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, in Miraflores, across the street from the ocean. I rented through Airbnb. My host was outstanding in every aspect. The cost was $140 a night. There was 24 hour security and I had no problems bringing different women into the place. Whenever I returned to the apartment, I always brought chips and a soda for the security guards; they took great care of me!

Duty Free:

There is a Duty Free at the airport in Lima. You are allowed to buy 4 bottles; thus, I bought 4 bottles.

Communication:

T-Mobile North American plan; say no more! My plan gave me unlimited data at 2 G speed, calls at 20 cents per minute, and free texts.

Transportation:

From the airport, I took a Green taxi; 20 bucks or 60 soles. I used an Uber to return to the airport for 55 soles. In Lima, I used Uber quite often; very cheap and safe. If I was in a hurry, I used regular taxis, which were dirt cheap in Lima. 5 to 10 soles can get you pretty much anywhere, including San Isidro, Lince, and Barranco. I used all types of transportation and never had any issues.

Food & Drinks:

I ate and drank at a butt-load of restaurants:

Mayta. Outstanding.

27 Tapas – Excellent; great roof-top bar.

Saqra. Excellent.

Morelia. Excellent.

Haiti. Very good.

La Bonbonniere – Excellent; great risotto.

La Lucha Sangucheria – Outstanding sandwiches.

El Cascajal – Excellent; plus a local show.

Every meal I had was either very good or really damn good!

The Women:

First, I want to give a shootout to Jack Jericho! Because of one of his reports, I learned about Glambu. After chatting with several chicas on Glambu, I ended up with three dates, but two were no shows. The third one was solid and we had a great time together.

Tinder: I chatted with several chicas, but nothing panned out.

Monger Venues:

I did not go out to the big clubs like I did in August. In August, I went to 9 different clubs. This trip, I figured I've seen enough and decided to venture back to the regular bars and learned about a new one as well.

Open Bar:

One of the chicas I knew introduced me to this place. If you leave pizza alley from the back entrance, the club is less than a block away. It was described as a place with college chicas that needed help with their tuition, books, and other college necessities. On Thursday around midnight, there were a good amount of chicas in the place. I was with a chica, so I didn't go around and ask questions. BUT, it looks promising!

The Old Pub:

The place appeared to be closed. I walked through the alley almost every night and each time, it was closed.

Club Sabor Peruano:

This club has been my go to spot for years. There are still a few working girls that come in and hang out, but not many. Some of the girls were hanging out in Open Bar.

Bambu Club:

It is the club near Pizza Alley, between the Subway shop and the Asian restaurant. The club is on the third floor. On the second floor, there was a new rock club with a band. Every time I walk in Bambu, I ask myself. "Why?" The girls will not leave the club and their drinks are over 60 soles.

There is another small club in that same area. It is on the right and under Subway. Instead of going up the stairs, you go down the stairs; not a damn thing going on in that club as well.

Tequila Rocks:

I stopped in there on Friday night around midnight. The cover charge was 30 soles, which included one drink. Once inside, there were 5-6 chicas and 10+ men. All the chicas were occupied. So, I stayed for my free 30 soles drink and left shortly thereafter.

Street Girls:

I already knew about the street scene in Lince, so I did not partake. Hell, I didn't have the time!

Conclusion:

I really like Lima. The people are friendly and the food is great! Miraflores is a wonderful district. Personally, I think the young women from Peru are beautiful; but the older ones don't seem to age very well.

As far as monger venues; it has enough to keep any monger busy during their stay. But go one step further; getting a regular date is not that difficult.

Would I ever return to Lima for a ninth trip? Nah, I think I tapped out on the place and the place has gotten to be just a routine for me. BUT, I still recommend for anyone else to go to Lima and experience the culture, food, and women!

I paid her what she asked for, as my Spanish is not good enough to argue over 20 soles. Same shit happens in Colombia with Prepagos, though this kind of onsite price increase rarely happens in Brazil. Now, I know enough Portuguese at this point to protest the markup, though it is usually a prelude to an substandard experience. When this happens in Brazil, its time to walk away as you will usually have infinite better choices.

I've been in Lima for 5 days now. Got a yen for some poon on Good Friday, which is a holiday here. I went looking on Photokines https://www.photokinesiologas.com/ which is the largest website for escorts or "kinesiologas" (physical therapists as they are called in local lingo). Its a product of Truvalia Classifieds, the nice people who bring us Photoprepagos and Photoacompanhtes. Now I want to point out that for every Peruana in Photokines, there is a Colombiana and a Venezolana. Plus there are girls from Brazil (who go for a premium as well Paraguay, Ecuador, Mexico, Central America, Cuba and the DR. Thus, I used Truvalia's tried and true filter sytem for a search and set the max distance to 5 KM from my location max price to 175 sols. I sent out a few inquiries on Zap, didn't get any responses then. One thing I've learned about prostitutes is that they love a holiday as much as anyone else. I tried again on Saturday, but got much better responses then. One girl who was located in Barannco (where I'm staying) responded with the automated text that suggested a brothel. 80 Sols for half an hour, 160 for an hour. This seems to be the median rate in Lima, though I have much higher prices advertised. It was only 4 blocks from my AirBnb.

Now, before we go any further I want it to be known that Lima is a HUGE sprawling metropolitan area, with a minimal rapid transport system. They've only finished one line of a proposed metro / subway system and they have one line of articulating buses with an exclusive set of lanes like Bogota's Transmilenio, which is called the Metropolitano. I will say this, it is much more pleasant than using the Transmilenio. That said, it is important to locate women not too far from where you are staying or any other place you might be visiting. You don't want to be sitting in traffic or standing in a bus longer than you are laying in bed with the short-term object of your affection.

So, back to the girl / establishement I was messaging on Whatsapp. I asked how many girls there were and she sent me about a dozen photos with what appeared to be 4 different girls. I indicated I was on the way and found the place quite easily on a major avenue near me. I hit the buzzer and after a long wait the door opened, and a girl with an ordinary face peered from behind it to let me in. GH, your response rate will be way higher in Peru than the USA. In my personal experience, this is also the case here.

Of course, that may vary depending on luck and expectations, but I've tried it every once in a while, just out of curiosity, and I've never had a good experience with a streetwalker. In your own words, "these girls will not give you what you want, they will upsell for everything and, once you hand over the cash, they will rush you".

What's worse, they used to be the cheap alternative, but not anymore; you can always find better service elsewhere (not necessarily good, just better) for the same price, across the entire price range of streetwalkers.
