I have read some of your old reports (2003) and can agree with much of what you have said. It is only natural that those that pimp and tout on this board are going to disagree with you.

Ye gods. To my knowledge there are two guys who are taking cash from members, and one who does not.

During my last trip, I went with the sage advice of David_33 and left Peru a very happy man. And David_33, being a gentleman, was helpfulness embodied even to the point of helping me while he was on the road outside of Peru! In my book, that is what this forum is all about: Sharing experiences and helping others.

By the way, who are the pimps and touts you mention? The only guys who are making money from ISG members in Lima are Lima Busy and Slyone. If you are referring to me there are dozens of forum members who would differ with your terminology. Maybe you are having a bad day or maybe you are just an asshole. Since you have to brag about your 30 year younger Asian GF, I would go with asshole.

Thanks for providing timely info on non-pro venues. Seems some guys conveniently forget this is the international sex guide, not the international PAID sex guide. Non-pro field reports fall completely within that mandate. Also, as I've mentioned many times for YEARS on this board certain experiences are so far outside of reality for some members that they feel compelled to cry "bullsh*t" or complain it's too much work. It often just means they don't know how. (Same guys who tend to refer to the US or Western Europe as sex prison.)

IMHO, there is room for both on these boards. I live with an Asian girl (30 years younger) in NYC, but when I travel to Lima, I like to mix it up. I spend day time working the FB / LAC contacts that I had met before coming as well as chasing tail on the street. I have lunch with friends I have made down here (food is unbelievable and worth the trip alone). At night time if I am not seeing a GF, will grab a light snack and head over to the casino's for awhile. Around midnight I might go to Pizzaros, Bartini, Sense or any number of places depending if I am staying In S. I, MF, etc. I stopped going to Suites and 69 a few years back, so if I have early morning wood and no luck, I would head over to TR in the hopes of grabbing a "fresh face" or even one of the tried and true. I have no problem with P4P, NP sex but prefer NP as I do not use condoms (except with hookers).

Bucanero, I never had a bad word to say about david33, I just respond in kind when he takes shots at me. I have posted other reports trying to do my part for those who helped me find some good spots in Lima (pennypacker and Limabusy in particular) and david33 feels the need to make childish insults and now a campaign to have me stop posting.

Just had a fun session with one of D33's friends. Someone else had described her as model quality and they were right. Some say that they have been photo shopped, but If you do not like what you see in person you can always leave and make a date with a different one. My best experiences in Peru have been this way!

From the forum reports, the #4 (contacting the local expat) , sounds like one of the better options. I stay in Peru during the last 3 weeks in March (2 weeks in Lima, one week in Cusco).

I have learned a bit (very little) of Spanish when I traveled through central american countries last year (and promptly forgot) and now I am trying to learn a bit more from my laptop.

I agree that 80 with a breeze doesn't seem too bad however there can be a LOT of nighttime noise in Lima depending on your location. Even high floors can pick up dogs barking, car alarms and general traffic noise. I prefer AC running with the windows closed in those situations. (the AC can act as "white noise") Also depending on where your windows are located, having them open or closed can affect security as well.

This is just me but I'd rather have the option even if I don't have to use it.

The Sun in Peru is especially strong because of the lack of ozone protection over this region, you need to worry more about sunburn than anything else. Bring suntan lotion & sun block from home, because it is a little more expensive to buy it here.

Strongly suggest you look for a place facing the Ocean where you get the breezes coming thru, then not having A / C isn't really an issue. Several members on ISG offer great rooms in their apartmernt (some with A / C some without) , including my place (don't need it at all) , right on the Malecon facing the ocean.

Come on down! Lima is great. And so are the ladies!

It is still fairly warm in Feb, but remember most apartments here do not have heat or A / C because it really is not needed especially if you are near the ocean, you get fantastic breezes. It is needed in areas like Surco, La Molina and areas near there where it is more desert liike weather, Miraflores is usually fairly comfortable except when the sun is fully exposed, that's when you get a good sunburn fairly quickly.

I live right on the ocean on the Malecon and the only time I felt a little uncomfortable this year (because my place does not have A / C or Heat) was during Sep't-Nov when it was unusually cold this year. When it gets too hot and there is no ocean breeze coming thru my place, I just turn on a fan and I am fine.

I would not worry too much abouty A / C if you are looking in Miraflores especially in the High Rise buildings that get the ocean breeze, may be more of an issue if you take a place in the areas mentioned above or in a Miraflores Apartment that is low to the ground and farther from the ocean.

Just my thoughts, maybe someone has other opinions. Hope it helps.
