Really not sure why Tumeric wants to go to Lima for a staycation even with a vaccination. Having spent some significant time there in the prior decades, I can attest to the overall grittiness of the city and the decline in mongering opportunities there. As ArtyistP points out it is rather unlikely that things change in the future in regard to clubs or kines. I used to hit Tequila Rocks back in its hey day and Calle de Pizza had its moments but those venues are long gone. There were some fun saunas too but if I recall a woman mayor declared war on these establishments eliminating one more reason to visit. Add in a rampaging virus and I see opportunities in this area dwindling to a trickle.

As far as the weather, it can be quite nice there from mid November to the end of March but the weather changes quite a bit for the worst from that point on as it becomes increasingly dreary and overcast.

Please let us know how this turns out.

Going to Lima for staycation for 6-8 weeks in April

I have been to Lima before couple of years ago (no mongering at that time). This time since I am getting my second vaccine shot in couple of weeks, I thought Lima would make a perfect place to work remotely. Incredible food, friendly (at least pre-COVID) people, great weather and plenty of options for local trips bring up different dimensions for me. I see that many people here are optimizing for 1 week "mongering-only" trips. For me those other dimensions contributed to the decision.

Sent my $ to the admin, will have messaging soon, and hope to get some info from experienced people on this forum (Jockey16, counting on your help).

Any mongering (or non-mongering) tips are appreciated.

Going to Lima for 1-2 months+ to work remotely

I have been to Lima once couple of years ago (did not monger at that time). Now, since I am getting a second vaccine dose soon, I figured Lima would be the perfect destination for staycation. Combination of amazing food, great weather, safety, options for local travel in my mind made Lima my choice. I see that many people on this forum optimize for "quality of girl per dollar", etc. In my case I am looking at the place where I would want to stay for a while. I had really positive impression of Peruvians too (though virtually no Spanish is spoken here).

Will be going in early April, hope to get some good information from experienced people on this forum. I just sent my membership $ few days ago, hope to have messaging available soon. Jockey16, counting on you.

Lima a shadow of its former self

I flew to Lima in December 2020 from Brazil. While in Brazil I used to whatsapp pics of the girls I fucked to a male Peruvian friend in Lima. Though married and not a monger, he used to book apartments for me in Lima. He always knew what I was up to, keeping a voyeuristic interest in my activities. He was impressed by the quality of the girls I was fucking in Brazil and asked me how much I paid them. I told him. His reaction: "I have a good mind to visit Brazil soon myself". This, coming from a local, says it all.

Regarding a previous post, note that Calle de las Pizzas has not be a mongering venue for over a decade. It may have been, back in Fujimori days.

A 50% infection rate is sad given the rate of vaccination going on other places in the world.

Still, hotel prices are down nicely since the Sol has gone down in value, and I see little chance of it recovering. The Peruvian central bank seems to have depleted some of its foreign reserves and is keeping the Sol at 3. 7 versus 3. 3 to the dollar. I bet it goes to 4. 0. So Lima for mongering to me has gone from a red light to yellow. If the dollar gets to 4. 0 and the fun places are allowed to re-open, then it will be green. Mexico and Colombia have it beat now and Brazil for those of us who have gotten the vaccine has Peru beat too but Lima has gone from no go to may go. I hope we see what I consider green light pricing soon.
I think you will eventually reach your green light price wise but Covid safety wise Lima is a death trap. I don't see that changing too soon. I would wait for double verification of the vaccine's efficacy against the numerous strains flying around before I would consider myself resilient proof in an urban environment like Lima. Lima is a rather gritty city even on a good day. I remember the Lima Flu that used to get me and other tourists who were down there. Shit spreads like wildfire in Lima.

Then there is the idea of going backwards in regards to the city. I have a hard time believing the city would allow girly places to open back up in centro or let prostitution flourish again in Calle de Las Pizzas. I could see the Kines scene expanding along with internet ToGo websites but the fun of mongering in Lima is checking out the venues.

It's all in the vaccine IMO.

Guessing if you want to go now (and had your two shots), Ecuador is the better option.

Everything is open, they're just not serving alcohol.

Pretty similar chongo/nightclub setup and pricing to Peru.

Yeah, but does this have anything to do with the 2 week quarantine on arrival into the country?

In a conference with the mayors of the country, the president warned the burgomasters that they must get ready to face the coronavirus pandemic without quarantine. The president said in a teleconference with the mayors that after April 27 almost all work activities will be reactivated, but not those of a social nature, related to entertainment and fun in public sectors. He revealed that we must enlist because at least 50% of the population is going to have the coronavirus. 80% will be able to be cared for at home, but 20% will need hospital care and 5% of the latter percentage will have to be in intensive care.

As of April 27, the Peruvian State will decree INTELLIGENT INSULATION, and it has already publicly announced that approximately 3,000 artificial respirators are expected to arrive from the Republic of China for the month of May and June..

Not sure what you're so wound up about Down. Jack made a suggestion. Jockey made a suggestion. IMO Jockey offering to communicate is better than everyone keeping silent on the matter for the last month.

    People always have a choice.

He apparently followed your line of thought, as a result there was not one answer to his request. Had he joined, at least he would have had one answer.

It sounds like you just didn't like my way of saying that this forum has been created to share information and that you can further get private information via PM if you join.

Furthermore, to infer that my offer to help mimics the "David's times" appears inaccurate. He used to publish pictures until some ISG folks started to stalk his friends so he stopped that practice.

Matter of semantics, if you ask me.

See what I mean? People should have a choice if they are interested in public information about a public venue or wanting private solicitation. Many people here (like me and others on the board) have no interest in recommended / prepagos / escorts / whatever. We need to go somewhere and look at and talk to the girl with no obligation before deciding to partake.

I Agree, however, the question was:

". Anyone know where to find party friendly ladies during this awful quarantine?. ".

If you do, feel free to publish it in the forum.

Not everyone is going out during the quarantine.

The questions were general in nature. "anyone know" "Is there any mongering scene right now?"

These can be answered in the general forum. Please don't turn this forum back into what it was before with David33 with everything only in PMs.

Talk about places, events, things in public. None of these questions were specifically - "Can someone get me girls delivered to my room?"

This is a forum to SHARE information. Please use it that way. Only encourage people to use PM if it's really required and requested, not the immediate go-to.

Surely you can describe the state of Pizza Alley or if Banos Turcos are open or chongos or any general information in public.

There is way more going on on the Guayaquil forum and Guayaquil is like a 15%-20% the size of Lima.
