Landed in Lima around midnight. Right after I checked into my hotel, I headed out to Las Cucardas by taxi. Saw some street walkers in el Centro along the way. 35 cover charge includes a condom. Walked around the two levels, chatted with some girls standing outside their own rooms. There is a stripper dancing on the first level by the bar. Overall the talent level is impressive. Most of these girls are foreigners, quite a few of them from Medellin. I wanted to bust my first Peruvian nut with a local, so picked a brown skinned chick from Chiclayo, a city up the coast to the north. 80 for the session (US $24 at today's exchange rate.) everything covered and no GFE whatsoever, the whole thing was mediocre. Perhaps I should've gone with a Colombiana! Hung around a bit, didn't feel like going for a second round so I took off. I may return but will try out Trocadero tomorrow night.

BTW, there's a Claro booth at the airport arrival hall by the baggage claim. They are selling "rent a SIM card" package with unlimited Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp (other internet and data extra) for US $6 a day. I thought that was steep so I passed, even though I knew at that hour everybody else is closed and I would've waited for tomorrow.

Are you saying they don't respond well or are you saying they don't respond at all? Because in my experience they don't respond at all to texts and whatsapp. Maybe calling them would yield better results.

Agencies and Craigslist are so bait and switch that I would not bother, unless you like weeding through 4 or 5 fakes to get 1 real person. I've never used an agency, but have tried Craigslist and have written it off. Badoo and Tagged can be fun, but also more work than it is worth in my opinion. If you need to score and have limited Spanish, go to Tequila Rocks in Miraflores. If you cannot score there, you need help Be picky, chat, buy a drink or two and pick someone you are attracted to and have some chemistry with. Unless you are totally desperate or are fugly, $100 USD will get it done, possibly all night if you wish and have secured your belongings in your hotel room or apartment. Sabor Peruano in Calle des Pizzas has civilians, semi-pros and pros, so you will need judgement and Spanish helps more there. Hope this helps a little.

I always rent an apartment, as I find it has less hassles, more privacy and better overall pricing. Plus, if you are not useless in the kitchen, you can cook. Also a nice touch to be able to cook breakfast for a lady in the morning. As for availability of women, there are all kinds, so as long as you are decent, you should score. A little Spanish also helps. Wish I could help with hotels, but have never used one in 3 extended trips to Miraflores. How much time you will spend here will direct you to your best options. Long time, try dating sites. Short time, Tequila Rocks, Sabor Peruano, Old Pub on a weekend or big soccer match and then there are the brothels, which are not my thing.

This place is definitely underrated. I have fucked off some quality women in this city over the years. I will defintely build my stable back up and start coming here more often. For my next visit I will look into renting one of those apartments in Miraflores for about a week and see how that turns out. Again, I am not doing any mongering, just with regular chicks that I have known for years. To me, if you speak Spanish, there is no reason to have to monger in Lima. As a matter of fact, it would probably prove to be a disservice to you.
