Which night clubs to you recommend?

Miraflores and San Isidro are touristic and residential districts so any night club of importance is bound to be harassed by the authorities; therefore, the best night clubs are in the neighboring districts, some even in a boundary street or avenue, just not in the Miraflores side of the street.

That said, the best night clubs in Lima nowadays are, IMHO, Club 69 (in Surquillo but very very close to Miraflores) and Cabaret Harem (also in Surquillo but just across the street from Miraflores). You can google them, also any taxi will know where they are. There is also Las Suites de Barranco (in Barranco), but not quite a good choice in terms of cost / value rates.

It might also be interesting to visit Soho (in Santa Catalina), La Oficina Gentelmen's Club (in Surco but very very close to Miraflores) and Club La Moza (right in the middle of Miraflores). I have not been at any of these but I've heard interesting things about them.

If what you are looking for is not necessarily an actual night club but just a bar / discotheque with working girls, try Tekila Rock Miraflores, Sabor Peruano (also in Miraflores) or Tekila Rock San Isidro (actually in Surquillo, a couple blocks away from its original San Isidro location). There are a lot more that I won't mention because the girls there are just "ficheras", that is girls that get paid a fee for every drink you buy them; those girls won't go out with you (they are not allowed to), they will just entice you to spend all your money at the bar.

I contacted Miss K prior to arrival and made arrangements. I had an airport pickup by one of her friends and they took me to my location along with a grocery store stop. She had a nice vehicle and conversed pleasantly in English. This was a simple pickup with no extras. Miss K arranged for some of her friends to visit and Miss A was a very warm young Colombian who I visited twice and who I should have had spend the night. I would have loved to serve her breakfast in bed. Her other friend Miss B was a little more aloof but as in all things you never know what you are getting....she was pleasant but we did not connect. Still would have liked to have tried again to see if I could make her squeal. We have to remember we are dealing with another human being and we all are having our own issues. Anyway I wish I had been there longer to spend more time. Miss you Miss K!

Note: I've read most of the posts here, and have not read any that provide an answer to the questions below. Apologies if I've missed any.

I'll be visiting Lima for a couple of weeks in the coming months, and have a few questions for those with experience there.

I'm flying down from NYC, where any pay-for-play is frowned upon and still illegal. However, I've had great experiences in Amsterdam, and European FKKs ("saunas", aka: sex clubs) in both Germany and Switzerland. I'm curious if the scene in the Euro clubs is similar to any clubs / brothels in Lima.

Short answer: NO.

In case anyone is unfamiliar with the FKKs, the settings are often ideal, in my opinion. Depending on the club, there are multiple floors, bars, kinos (theater), and outdoor areas. Throughout these areas are attractive women, clad in anything from bikinis to fully nude, all over the place.

The energy in such places is often relaxed, with everyone enjoying a drink, with an opportunity to talk so multiple women before taking one to the room. This chance to talk, share a drink, and build a rapport can often enhance what happens later in the room. Its worth mentioning that you only pay for the room. The conversation and flirting are considered foreplay with no up-sell.

I don't think there is anything not even remotely close to that in Lima.

The main problem here is that, even if prostitution is legal, proxenetism is not; and the definition of proxenetism, for the local authorities, is "to benefit from the sexual exploitation of another person" so, basically, any hotel, sauna, club or discotheque with working girls in it, is benefiting from the sex trade and, therefore, guilty of proxenetism. That makes things very complicated for anybody out of the legal brothels scene.

Some of the places I've read about in Lima (E. G. Las Cucardas, etc) sound more like my experience in Amsterdam, where there's little to no time to hang out or talk beforehand. Or, even more so, the women never leave the doorway of their room.

With all that said, are there places (saunas, clubs, etc.) in Lima that are similar to the FKKs described above? Simply a place to take your time in choosing from dozens of women, in a no rush atmosphere.

Any help is appreciated.

Of course there are places where you can talk with the girls before choosing, but nothing close to an FKK club. Let's try to summarize the alternatives:

- Apartments: Many girls that advertise on line work in apartments. There can be three to five girls at an apartment and they will do outcalls and take incalls. You can get there and choose a girl but you will have no opportunity to hang or talk with the girls beforehand. You get there, choose a girl and get to business. Not what you asked for.

- Night Clubs: Girls at nightclubs like Club 69, Harem and the like are hanging around, dancing, talking and drinking with the clients. But the environment is not relaxed, they are hard selling themselves. The club pays the girls for every drink you buy them so they will be pushing you to spend money fast. If you want a private place to drink and talk with the girl, you have to pay for it. If you want to have sex with the girl, you have to pay a "take out fee" quite apart of what you pay to the girl and, on top of that, you have to pay for the hotel.

- Brothels: The only legal places for prostitution in Lima. Low-end brothels like Troca or El Botecito are just as you described. The girls are always standing at their room's door and actively discourage conversation beyond strictly business (you are wasting their time). At a high-end brothel, like Cucardas, there is a bar where you can have a drink and a small scenario where the girls strip-dance, and while most girls are standing at their room's door al all times, some girls go to the bar to drink and talk with the clients; but even then, they will be trying at all times to close the deal and get you to their room as fast as possible.

- Saunas: This will be the closest thing to an FKK club you will find in Lima. As close a Miami to Seattle but that's all you'll get. Most saunas have gotten rid of the girls after heavy harassment from the authorities but Lions and Cavin are still there. And, of course, there is Smik Spa. At Sauna Lions Spa, the girls hang around the cafeteria and the rest area and you get to look at them at your leisure, you also can talk with them, but all they will want to talk about is you "going up" with them (the going "up" is because the rooms are in the second floor). Same thing at Hotel Sauna Cavin. Still there will be no more than 6 to 12 girls present an any given time ans they will not be naked nor in bikinis, they will be provocatively but fully dressed. At Smik Spa, the absolute best sauna in Lima, the girls are secluded and not everyone is taken to them. If you are not a known customer or accompanied by a known customer, they will even deny that there are girls at the sauna.

I hope it helped to get a clearer picture of the P-4-P scene in Lima.

Frankfurt's note:

" Casa in my report described as 'in a nondescript building" is at Av. Petit Thouars 1944. Enter building go upstairs first flight of stairs, you will see a sign and a grilled iron door. Ring the bell. ".

The building next to this is under construction. You will need to enter at 1944 and go down an open corridor. Half way down on the left there is an open stairwell. Go to the second floor. Turn right towards the front of the building and there is a locked gate. There was no sign identifying the business and the buzzer I think is adjacent to the stairs. Everytime I went there was a client just ahead of me and I heard them ring the buzzer. There was a selection of six girls who were all pleasant. Thanks to Frankfurt for posting on this.
