The silver lining is the fish you get on your plate. Cold water = fisheries.

Without speaking Spanish and having no intention to get a real girlfriend -- what would I look for on cupid? But what do I know? In any case, if things work out for you and you would not mind sharing, please share her contact and price.
The cold Humboldt current comes up Peru until around Huanchacho (near Trujillo, north of Lima) and all the water south of there is normally freezing. That being said, you'll be here in Feb, the hottest part of the year, and I've seen people swimming (or at least in the water) all along the coast.

Didn't know Ancon's beach was popular. I like Huanchacho a lot. Mancora is the best.

That is from tripadvisor from someone that lives in Peru. She is right about the water in Lima freezing. She is also right about Mancora being the best beach. However, from my experience in Colombia I learned that because they say it is the best beach does not mean it is even a good beach by a foreigner's standards that has been to an actual good beach.

Last year I went to Mancora with a girl that I have been messing with for like 10 years. I was going to go scuba diving there, but a lot of reviews did not recommend it. They said the water is cold and cloudy. And this place is closer to the equator than Lima and I would have been wearing a wet suit. When I got there that water was fucking freezing, but my girl got in it, because to her and her countrymen that is the Miami of Peru. They actually had sand whereas Lima has rocks. Most of the people you see in the water in Lima are surfers wearing wetsuits. I don't know if I have ever seen someone in that water swimming or playing.

From Google: South Beach (Miami) sea temperatures peak in the range 29 to 30°see (84 to 86°F) on around the 10th of August and are at their coldest on about the 10th of February, in the range 22 to 24°see (72 to 75°F).

So the temperature of the water in Miami in the dead of winter is warmer than the temperature of the water in Lima in the dead of Summer.

If you are trying to meet someone don't worry about language. Love conquers all! My first time in Peru I did not speak Spanish. I met a chick on that same site and she picked me up from the airport and I stayed at her house. She took me site seeing around Lima. She did not speak English either!

LOL. Man that water is cold as fuck! Just get on Cupid and find a girlfriend. I have lined several up. The chick meeting me at the airport tomorrow said she was scammed out of $500 by the last guy that promised he would marry her and they would get a house together. He said something about needing money to send his baggage so she cleaned out her savings that were supposed to be used to build her house. Most of all the other chicks that I am supposed to meet in Lima are Venezuelan. I guess they really have taken over.

How to mitigate the language as a barrier

HKG or even FRA. ... If altitude sickness is not an issue for you -see my Quito report and it has a great scene at comparable prices plus there are at least two clubs Habanos and Vibracions where you can point and click without any homework. ... Just wanted to throw it out there so you won't be disappointed in the outcome in case you do go to Lima but have a hard time due to language and logistics issues.
Frankfurt, you already did your deed and it can not be undone: I already bought tickets. Now I need all help I can get. Actually the worst country without language by far was PRC. Not only I can not speak either of its languages, I could not even copy an address on a note. And despite the language barrier it was the country I had the biggest fun -- dream-like fun, unbeatable from anywhere including pointed by you "BKK. HKG or even FRA" I was going there year after year and only stopped for the last 4 years because of LE killing the way I used to get what I wanted; I am sure there are more ways, but as a kid who liked a particular donut which got discontinued, decides never go to the store again. BTW, PRC was the only place I came to be physically harmed (read my report of 2008 at one paragraph before the last, if you are interested -- I was a kid, confused pure luck with stamina and would never do such a thing again).

Thanks man, I would never explain my objectives better! So please critic / correct my thinking bellow.

    :
    1. Prearrange a beautiful girl to meet me in airport, travel to my hotel and spend 1 day as a guide in location and pleasure; assume to spend around $300USD. Anyone knows, please PM me! Plan "B" if no woman is found or the price is significantly more than $300USD pre-order a taxi for $15USD this is going to be among other things I will beg Frankfurt to share with me (!) in PM.[/*]
    2. Reserve the same hotel as Frankfurt (please let me know what it was; I plan to send them Google Translated texts. I hope the hotel has a fast WiFi as I must work at least at some of these days.[/*]
    3. As cheaper hotels do not have a fitness room, I plan to go to a beach at least twice in that week (desirably 3 times) to swim for at least 90 minutes each time. That would constitute a problem: who would guard my things. Any idea? Should I try to hire an ugly old but cheap provider for that very reason? Or maybe there is a cheaper option to find a fitness center -- I remember in BKK MrEnternational helped me with "International" fitness center with VERY reasonable price. Anyone with any odea in Lima in Lince?[/*]
    4. 70 Peso Venezuela girl in a blue dress is a must (assuming she still practicing her craft in the mid-January) -- My only question if they would accept texts over What'sUp as I will rely on Google Translator and would not be able to speak Spanish[/*]
    5. Thanks to World Travel 69 I will be looking at map and walk into the closest places. The only problem is that from what I understood the prices are all around $100USD there. If what I get is close to what I used to get in PRC/Shanghai Saunas, then it worth for me, but I think no sauna is as I had in Shanghai with Red Robes, etc. ahhhh. In any case Frankfurts place This nice casa / apartment was in a nondescript residential / commercial multi-story building on Petit Thouars. The whatsapp number is handled by the girl who manages the font desk. She wasn't too bad herself but a little unkempt. None of the girls spoke any English. There was a line up of 5 girls and I picked the one I had my eyes on based on their Photokines ad. sounds way cheaper, but Frankfurt did not specify the address. Could you please? Or PM it to me: I want to pay $50USD insteadof $100USD which seemed to be on the Worlds_69s map places[/*]
    6. I also would appreciate some touristy places to visit and a dance hall/ restaurant I can bring a girl if we have a vibe before/after the deed. I assume 50 yo man with 20 yo woman would not be a problem (at least hope). Please suggest.[/*]
    .

    Would the above work?

I reported before about hookers being in the lobby, so I guess so.

    Las cucardad.

Make sure you guys check it out! Def worth a look. And they have one or 2 very special gems. Went at 4 and there were 3 7's and a 9. All quoted standard 80 with an up charge for special requests. Had a great time and am just sad I went on my last day instead of my first.

    At&t

I my case AT&T will not get any money from me if I use Whatsapp. If I use AT&T text messaging I have to pay them.

And if I use their text messaging from say Argentina it would cost me a lot of $$. But, if I use Whatsapp they get nothing.

I get the countries sim card; that I am in, and use Whatsapp I can send text and photos for nothing.

You can also make phone calls with it for free.

Thanks man. I guess that makes more sense. Same as oil companies railroaded (pun intended) electric street car shit back in the day because they could not make money off of that. I took it as him referring to Frankfurt's mentioning that the hookers (service providers as well) were not answering his whatsapp messages. (I have had the same experience in Lima by the way - maybe because our whatsapp number is not a local number they don't respond?) I have T-mobile so worldwide internet is included in the $70/month that I pay for service. They don't really expect to make extra like AT&T I suppose.

In my jaunts, I never picked a girl from HDR or SL but rather pounded the pavement for Pensions and clubs where locals go find chicas.
