I have been told by a friend that Iquitos is a "target rich environment", so I plan to see that for myself next visit.
The Badoo app can also be fun for meeting women and there is also Latin American Cupid too, but you must buy a membership there to communicate with women.

Mr Enternational is right, Machu Picchu is one of the seven wonders of the modern world, If you come to Peru and don't visit Machu Picchu, you've missed a great opportunity. Unless you plan to do it later in better circumstances.
However, Machu Picchu is half of what is to be seen in Cuzco, so three days is the absolute minimum, 5 days is best, and if you are to be only 10 days in Peru, Cusco Machu Picchu and Lima it is. No time for more. Girl-wise, Cusco is not the best place. True it is full of bricheras (a word derived from breeches) hunting for a rich gringo, but they are a bad deal in any case. There is a friend of mine, whom I met at Sly One's parties, who owns a bar in Cusco and tells me most of the bar's hostess are open to invitations from generous tourists, so that might be safer; I've met a couple of those girls who came to visit Lima and they are not burning-hot chicks but they are okay (6.5 to 7.5 out of 10) and very willing to please in bed.
There are other options, depending on what you like, You can go to Chiclayo to see the Senor de Sipan or to Trujillo to see Chan Chan if that is the kind of tourism you like (you can google "Senor de Sipan" or "Chan Chan" and get an idea of what is it like). Or you can go to Iquitos to get a taste of jungle (and a taste of the horniest girls in Peru).
Bus travel is generally safe; just have the common sense of spending in a bus ticket from a serious bus company like Oltursa, Ormeno, Itsa or Cruz del Sur. More informal buses that don't make security controls of their passengers, are not tracked in real time via GPS, are not monitored by real time video, and pick up passengers halfway, are the ones prone to be assaulted. True, the ticket at a more serious bus company can cost you two or three times more, but we are still talking of a 15 - 20 dollars difference so that is not too much money to spend in your own safety.

Posts: 160Hi guys! I'm coming to Lima alone for 10 days on June 15th. I will be staying in Miraflores apartment. What would you think is best to do. I think 10 days in Lima might bee too boring because the traffic and nothing much to see there. What options are there? Macchu Picchu and sightseeing, do you recommend that? Or to go see othere cities? A lot of traveling maybe, but should be safe? I have read about local buses being robbed there by gunmen.
What are the options for girls? Where to find local "guides"? I have been to Lima once last year for a week I was hanging out in Lima with a friend and didn't go elsewhere so nothing much happened in terms of girls. That's all I have seen of Lima, Mireflores and Barranco. I just visited Calle Pizzas once and found a girl in one of the bars.
I know Tinder but what is the SA mentioned here sometimes?

Posts: 275Uber to / from the airport: Outside vs Inside.
I'll share here what's happened to me just this week.
I had to fly to Piura last Monday for a two-day business trip and decided to leave my car at my brother's house in San Isidro instead of in the long-term parking lot at the airport, so I called an Uber from San Isidro to the airport. The predicted cost was 34 soles which I accepted. When we arrived to the airport, there was a line of cars, a block long, waiting to enter so I told the driver to drive a couple blocks past the airport, make a you-turn and drop me at the pedestrian entrance since that was going to be a lot faster for me. The surprise came when the amount due showing in the driver's cell was. 22 soles!
Later, while I was flying to Piura I tried to figure the thing out. Was there maybe a difference in the taxi fee to "inside" the airport vs. "outside" the airport?
So, when I came back to Lima two days later I walked out of the airport through the pedestrian door, walked half a block to the bus stop and called an Uber. The predicted fee to San Isidro was 23 soles. I took it, the driver was there in a minute and a half (it was one of the cars waiting outside the airport) and took me to San Isidro. For 23 soles! Bingo! There IS a substantial difference between an Uber to / from inside the airport and an Uber to / from outside the airport. And, being an Uber, it is as safe as it can be.
So there it is guys. It is up to you to do the same or not. Of course, I was in a business trip, so I only had a small cabin bag; I don't think I'd take all that trouble for just 4. 5 dollars if I was coming on vacation trip with a big heavy bag and my cabing bag and my laptop or camera and my coat. But that's me.
