I'm planning a last minute trip to Lima. I booked the Crown Plaza in Miraflores (I can still cancel with no problems).

I'm hoping that someone might be able to confirm for me that I shouldn't have any problems if I bring someone back there for a night. Or if they have any other suggestions regarding hotel accommodations.

Also any other suggestions to making my time in Lima as fun as possible would also be appreciated.

Just got back from my trip to Lima. This was my first time hobbying outside of my home country and was a unique experience that I can't wait to try again. Before I begin I want to say thank you to Jack, Jockey, and MissK for all your help with a non Spanish speaking gringo. I hadn't really planned enough prior to this trip and reached out to a few people from these forums pretty last minute and these three came through with results. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to see everyone they recommended because I was keeping to my friends' schedule who I was with, and had to deal with their last minute changes. There was a lot of sneaking around as some of these girls could testify. Also FYI, if you are travelling to Peru and plan to use a Visa to do cash advances to take advantage of spot rates because your bank has shit rates for soles, make sure your visa doesn't restrict you to 20% of your credit limit like Chase does. Or bring USD and convert it with the money exchangers. Everyone gives fairly favourable rates for USD.

The first girl I saw in Lima was Jockey's friend MissS. Almost did not meet MissS because she did not confirm with me the night before. Her phone along with other possessions were stolen that night but Jockey contacted me in the morning to let me know that she was safe and wanted to keep to the appointment. It reminded me that even though I was staying in Miraflores that Peru in general is a dangerous country and even more so right now because of the huaycos. Most of the people I spoke to have been robbed one way or another at various points in their lives.

When I was in Rio, there were plenty of brothels that were in close walking distance. The host / boss could speak enough english to tell me the price for the amount of time. The actual girls spoke zero english but we were able to figure where to put what and so on.

Those are pretty much the only two ways I've been able to do this in countries where I don't speak the language.

Sorry Tbird, I tried to find you something but I could not. Now, of course, is too late but, generally speaking, nothing really happens in Miraflores (mongering-wise) before 10:00 pm or even midnight.

There is plenty of daytime action in Lima but, apartment from call-girl agencies (which is not what you asked for), not in Miraflores I'm afraid.
