Yes, today I walked all the way from Plaza San Martin to La Gammara and back. I walked down Av. Aviacion and looked for El Naranjito, but all the metal gates in the area were shut.
I made a second trip to El Trocadero, to have a session with the hot Peruana I chatted with the night before. It was ok, nothing extraordinary. Out of curiosity, I went into Botecito afterwards. Cover is 10 soles (vs 15 at El Troco) and session fee is 25 (vs 30). The talent level definitely is a lot worse there. Also the place is a lot smaller. At El Troco, I counted 6 rows of rooms on the first level, and 2 on the second. Each row has about 30 rooms. The potential is there for 240 girls to fully staff the place, crazy!
I made a second trip to Las Cucardas this evening. It's Mother's Day, and a Sunday, there were only 7 girls max working. It was bad. I picked a white girl with a huge ass from Ecuador, it wasn't bad. So that concludes my short trip to Lima. Mr. E is right that mongering in Lima is not as rewarding as civilian-dating, but of course that's like saying hamburgers are not as delicious as New York strips. Not for lack of trying though, I had 2 cupid chicks flaked out on me. Even a massage chick I coaxed an HJ from, said we could meet up later that night, but when I called her, she hung up on me!
The massage I got was from one of the many stalls in a cell phone / clothing shopping place near Pierola and Abancay. They are supposed to be legit because the massages are solid LOL. Costs 20 soles for a 40 minute massage!
There are street walkers in the day time at Ugarte and Zepita. At night there are some on Pierola (Colmena). If you're desperate or adventurous enough.
I did a lot of touristy stuff and the amount of wealth the Spanish empire had in Lima is amazing. I took a 4 hour (RT) boat ride to swim with sea lions in their natural habitat, it was a wonderful experience. I went to Palvos Azules just to shop at a DVD stall where they have almost every art / independent film. Of course they are bootlegs, 3 DVDs for 10 soles. They have every Woody Allen and John Waters films. I asked for an Indian film and they even had that. BTW, the shop was featured in a short Vice Media segment (find on YouTube). Finally, the food in Lima is awesome. Although. The prices aren't cheap. I think the pollo a la brasa there are almost the same price as in the US.

Having said that, am I glad I went? Would I return? Heck yeah! My apprehension was quickly overturned after I found a gem and had a great session for 30 soles ($9), and extra 10 soles ($3) for BBBJ. I picked a morena from Ecuador who gave me as close to GFE as possible in a brothel. There are quite many fatties and oldies there, but hot ones just like in Las Cucardas too. After my session, I chatted with an absolutely gorgeous Peruana. But it was near closing and my "reload" time isn't what it used to, so I did not go for a second session.
Going there I hopped in a share-ride taxi and did the same on the way back, for 5 soles. I even had 3 girls finished working and were going home, as my share-ride mates! However, I guess they had enough from being dicked all day and were in no mood for small talk.

If you really want the Troco experience at night, Huaral has a good local brothel. I think the places out near Huachipa are open at night (Conjitas/etc) but I didn't like them.

But "rent a SIM card" are the exact words they use, in English too.

"rent a SIM card" Do you have to return it before you leave. I will be back in August and I know there is at least an hour wait at Claro in Miraflores.

Landed in Lima around midnight. Right after I checked into my hotel, I headed out to Las Cucardas by taxi. Saw some street walkers in el Centro along the way. 35 cover charge includes a condom. Walked around the two levels, chatted with some girls standing outside their own rooms. There is a stripper dancing on the first level by the bar. Overall the talent level is impressive. Most of these girls are foreigners, quite a few of them from Medellin. I wanted to bust my first Peruvian nut with a local, so picked a brown skinned chick from Chiclayo, a city up the coast to the north. 80 for the session (US $24 at today's exchange rate.) everything covered and no GFE whatsoever, the whole thing was mediocre. Perhaps I should've gone with a Colombiana! Hung around a bit, didn't feel like going for a second round so I took off. I may return but will try out Trocadero tomorrow night.
BTW, there's a Claro booth at the airport arrival hall by the baggage claim. They are selling "rent a SIM card" package with unlimited Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp (other internet and data extra) for US $6 a day. I thought that was steep so I passed, even though I knew at that hour everybody else is closed and I would've waited for tomorrow.
