just spent a short week in lima. the weather is still a bit brisky for me. my home town is over 90 every day still, but that's okay because it made it very enjoyable to steam and bake at the finnish sauna (now solamente un bano turko). it's been over four years since my last visit, and like many places in peru, they have been spending money on infrastructure. all of the facilities have been upgraded, and everything is always very clean.

but for me the best improvement is that the women working there are a little bit more attractive than i remembered, so that was great. i sampled three different women, and took one out for a great afternoon of companionship. i am recovering from some major tension and work-related stress, so the massages were welcome as well.

for details: entry is now s. 40, which includes 20 minute massage from the women who provide los masajes relantes (sexual release) , but doesn't include the actual sexual release. if you go for a regular therapeutic massage, i don't know how they discount the rates. they have two lineups, so there is no confusion. the therapeutic masseuses are in a different room. their prices are s. 60 for an hour of regular massages and they have licenses, etc. in various disciplines.

you negotiate with the women either before or when you reach a room, i recommend at least a preliminary negotiation prior to leaving the line up room. it's a little awkward to get started with the women. you are in a towel, or two, and they are fully dressed. there were always at least five and one time there were eight women ready and waiting for your favor. i went there around 5 to 7 in the evening each time. you go in the room, and they all look at you with hope in their eyes, but you want to take a few minutes, so they all go back to whatever they were doing and you just sit there. the women will not approach you, i suspect that is a house rule. but if you try to catch one's eye, they will either start smiling and you know they are ready, or they will look away. then you must initiate a conversation by moving closer to the seat they are in, and decide whether the woman is to your liking. that's when you start the negotiations. but note that it is all very discrete, and if you want any kind of bargain, they will not give it to you in front of the other women. i only wanted a massage and manual release, but i like to have the girl naked and be able to touch her. these are all part of the deal, and you must be able to work that out with dignity or forget it. all three women agreed to the same price, but all started higher, so if you don't like to bargain, forget it. i settled on s. 100 each time, which did not include the s. 40 for the massage. so the total was s. 140 for half an hour of massage with very happy ending and friendly touching and conversation. it's not the same as having a hotel room and all of that...

hey travel fool glad you made it to my favorite sauna in lima. however, something got lost in the translation for you. check out my report from sept to see the break between the therapeutic and relaxing (happy ending) massages. also, you can negotiate for just about anything once you get to the table, but not with the licensed masseuses.

I wandered back up and pointed at a girl and she led me upstairs. The selection was decent, maybe a handful of 7's. Pricing: 200 soles full service. Anything less: yes. 180 soles (never told me what that was). Since I was looking for a standard happy ending I opted for the 20 soles half hour which was part of the sauna special

Peruvian chick in smock arrives and gives the massage. Actually a really good massage for 20 soles.

So far, the Central and S. American airports I've experienced won't allow you to do self check in and go immediately to the gate. You still have to wait in the long line with all those carrying 3 or 4 suitcases. Even if not checking any bags. It took me 45 minutes just to get to the gate agent. After that, you have to go through security / X-Ray, then the passport / document control. Finally, you could even have a wait at your gate if there is a line. They search the bags one more time. I just got on the plane at the last minute. Do yourself a favor and get to the airport 3-4 hours prior and save yourself a lot of stress.

I have a six hour layover (from midnight until 0600) and would prefer to get out of the airport for a few hours. Any suggestions? My idea was to go to the Finnish sauna but it looks like it closes at 2200. I would like a place to relax, meet some chicas, etc.

Are there any other places similar to a sauna that might be open?

For me, I would keep my powder dry for another city. Lot of stress for a short term arrangement.

Well, not sure wandering around Lima is a good idea at that time in night / morning, but, if so, make sure you get secure transport door-to-door.

Even at that time of night, figure it would be 30 minutes to Miraflores and Tequila Rocks. Is your flight international? In that event, you need to be at airport at least two hours before departure. You would have to work fast at TR and early weekdays can be slim pickings. If you find someone, then it is off to short time hotel for a quickie and back to AirPort. Use the same taxi to reduce your time exposure.

For me, I would keep my powder dry for another city. Lot of stress for a short term arrangement. Most saunas clase around 10.

David set me up again in Lima even though as reported he is in the Orient now. It had been three years since my last trip, which was in March of 2010. And while I miss the summer weather of that time (Dec-March) , chicas are way too bundled up now and cool and grey in Miraflores, it is always good to be here. As Josh63 says, just PM him with enough advance and you will be in good shape. I like to get a D33 girl for the afternoon hours after a good ceviche lunch. And then you go out later to meet the non pros. No brainer.

We hit the Nacional Museo de Peru today. 3 soles. Some great restaurants w / really good Ceviche nearby for around 10 soles. It was packed w / locals. Always a good sign. Afterwards, got a taxi back to the apartment, relaxed a bit and headed back to El Trocadero. I had some fun w / 2 Ecuadorian gals. One was 24 and had been worked in various places in Ecuador prior to coming to Lima. Makes me want to checkout Ecuador next time. Just bizarre to think about banging hot 18-24 yo's in an old jail cell. Imagine what the prisoners in the past would've given to have one of them in the cell w / them! We're hitting Ica tomorrow and the Desert Oasis tomorrow. Will do some dune buggying and sandboard surfing. Tomorrow night. Who knows.

Today we went on the 2 hour Mirabus tour that went around Barranco, Miraflores, and a few other spots for 20 soles. Not a bad deal, had a good time. Hey, ya got to do something legit when you take a big vacation. We got back and relaxed for about 1 1/2 hours and had some dinner. We called our taxi driver and he picked us up at our apartment to us to Trocadero in Callao. We gave our driver 65 soles for the round trip. Plus he waited around for us for 2 hours. Trocadero was amazing. Many 18-20 year old girls, mostly from Ecuador. One of them I was with would give Gianna Michaels a run for her money. She had natural DDs and was a 19 yr old, light skinned, Ecuadoran. The other girl was 18 and also from Ecuador. Had a perfectly petite body, amazing ass. In Lima / S. America for first time. As usual, first time in any country is a learning experience. Got in on Saturday and went Sunday night to Las Curcadas. Maybe 8-10 girls. All of them not bad. I reckon the best ones were the ones I never saw. Had a line of 3-4 deep local guys. Still, banged a cute 24 yo light skinned Ecuadorian w / nice tits. Admissio was 35 soles fee to club, to the girl was 70 soles. Tonight, Monday, did some touristy things around Plaza des Armas, and figured since it's so close, let's get a taxi ride to Trocadero. We bargained w / 2 or 3 drivers and wound up getting a price of 8 soles. He took us to a hole in the wall place that happened to be next door to Las curcadas. I've seen video on the net of Trocadero and know ithat it's 2 stores and has at least 150-200 women working. This place only had one big room and maybe 6 women. I knew this wasn't Trocadero. I asked 5 people that were in there, mostly employees, and they claimed that it was Trocadero. After being assured that a new shift was coming in soon we waited. 30 minutes passed and still no girls. We cut our loss and left. Hopefully this is a lesson for others.

We're planning on going to the real Trocadero tomorrow night. I saw on the google mongering map that there are 5 or 6 places all close together less than a mile from Las Curcadas. It looks like a prime area to wander and pop in and inspect the talent. If anyone has any advice / suggestions, I'd love to hear it vie message on the board or PM. Also interested in suggestions on where to try Chicha, and Pisco Sours before we leave.
