But don't blame the Colombia chicas for the high prices.

It a Demand and supply free market system.

If everyone would only pay a maximum of say $USD50 TLN.

Then after a week or two the price would be $USD50 TLN.

Because the rent still has to be paid and the kids fed etc.

I was in TR over the weekend and it appears more than half the chicas are from Colombia. I actual spoke to a somewhat overweight Colombia girl who said she had been in Thailand and Hong Kong recently. She wanted some ridiculous amount of money and I threw her back in the pond. Let's face it, if a chick gets on a plane or bus to come here from Bogata, you can be fairly well assured that you will get a professional experience and I do not mean that in the positive sense. I avoid those girls like the plague when I am in there but someone is paying or they would be back in Col.

The problem also appears to be that the Colombia girls are much more attractive when compared to their Peruvian sisters, especially in a place like TR, and the vibrant economy here, as David points out, appears to have further narrowed down local participants.

As an aside, I just returned from Asia, Peru's posh beach resort. The place and beach was completely deserted but a taxi driver said he would take me to Canete, which is an 25 minutes south of Asia to meet some girls. Apparently, they have a Casa there. The price for one hour was 100 soles. But the taxi driver also wanted 100 soles round trip for the taxi. Not.

Knowing what to expect, I passed.

This is a phenomenon which has increased during the last couple of years in conjunction with Peru's economic growth. IMO its because Colombianas are generally cuter than Peruvians or girls from other countries. Thus they make more money here with less competition than back home.

Colombia's main exports are cut flowers, cocaine, coffee and commercial sex workers. Big demand for the Colombian variety.

Yet my experience with Colombians is they are fun to be with in Colombia but avoid them in other countries and definitely don't get married to them. I did and bad experience.

Peruvian girls seem to me are like Colombians but light version, when I'm in Lima I will only be mongering with Peruvian girls, still don't understand why foreign guys will monger with other but Peruvian girls.

I am one of those few who just comes down to Lima for the girls. I don't have a great amount of experience mongering but between Bs As, which I know too well and Lima, I come to David's Kingdom. No offense to the brothers over on the AP forum but David's Lima is much better for my non pro / amateur / part timer tastes. Silicon is not my thing so all these Peruanas are little gems in my book (although I miss the Freddo ice cream David! It is all your fault Soup Nazi).

Maybe it was better before. Everyone says so but I still enjoy it. Just the other day, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting a very first timer and it was the best mongering experience I have ever had. This afternoon I received an emergency phone call from David. Nice to hear the positive experiences, I guess the name of the game is research and having a reliable and friendly local contact like David, just imagine if David wasn't around things will be more much difficult and I agree 200 soles for a good experience is fair in LA but not 200 dollars for a so so short timer.

Also enjoying the ceviche and the SPA, s (legit) are a Lima plus.

The dollar keeps going down (2. 58 today) , and the economy keeps getting better with lots of normal jobs available for the chicas. It is interesting to note the influx of working girls from Ecuador, Colombia and even Argentina who have been attracted by the Peruvian economic situation. That said, I still have a good time and so do most of the forum members who have visited (at least the ones who I have been in touch with). Still more GFE than I have experienced in other S. A. Countries.

IMHO unless you are very young and handsome, you can forget about the dating sites (unless you are looking for MILFS).

Thank you David, your comments are somewhat reassuring, but definitely the mongering hobby is getting more expensive and more difficult, having people like you will be fundamental for safe and productive trips, especially for people like me that we prefer the more amateur type.

What still amazes me is so many Colombians working in Lima as both countries are basically in the same economic status, I mean I have found Colombians in shanghai, Hong Kong, Panama and cr and I know they are all over the world and they are fun for mongering, but my experience is they are fun as long as you are in Colombia, outside Colombia they become very professionals.

Anyhow I just came forma trip to Philippines, hk and shanghai, I will post soon my experiences under the Asia reports.

Last time I was in Lima was 5 years ago and it was very good, prices were asli able and it was easy to get to knoww no pros from amigos. Com, etc. I and the last 5 years I have been mongering semipros and no pros in Colombia and Philpines.

I decided to go Lima at the end of this year because the air tickets To Lima from Miami are the same if I were go to San Jose or Medellin. So I bought he ticket before doing my research, and after doing some reading here and in the Spanish blog perutops I'm amazed how bad things seems to be in Lima, the prices seems to be very high compared to other countries and the quality doesn't seem to be like it used and The fact that Colombian girls are working in Lima is a bad sign (colombians seem to be in every corner of the world) why in earth Colombians are in Peru and why anybody will go to Peru to be wih a Colombian is beyond any logic.

It is obvious that in general our hobby is not what it used to be, third world countries are becoming richer and our countries are becoming poorer and the Chinese and Indian men are desperate looking for woman as they killed many of their own, however, it seems that the deterioration in Lima has been more steep than for example in Colombia or Philippines regarding pros and nonpros.

In my opinion people paying $200 short time in Peru is outrageous and it seems that this is the norm in places like tequila rock, also in the past I had a very good response from girls in amigos. Com so far I had none.

I contacted David and I hope he will be able to assist as it seems that he is the only one who knows how I get the Gems in Lima, I'm getting mentally prepared for a disappointment so I'm planning to enjoy the ceviches and the saunas.

I definitely agree.

I used to love exploring Peru, finding chongos, etc. I've been to nearly every town up and down the Pacific coast (I don't do mountains lol). But after going to chongos over hundreds of times (I stayed 6 months there, plus a bunch of 1-2 month trips) I got bored of it.

Especially when your mediocre in the local language. There's only a limited number of things you can do. In a first world country (especially an English speaking one) , you can do anything the city has to offer. Social events, take in a cooking course or some other short course, or whatever. In Peru I felt like I was limited to casinos, high class restaurants, saunas and monger bars. Sure I can get a S / 5 menu, but then what. Wonder around Polvos Azules looking at shit. There's only that many times that is interesting.

Now I believe the first world is the place to go for sex. The roles are reversed. The only place for me now is England.

A much better service, no hustling or wanting you to take them out to go shopping and buy them shit. It also feels the same level as well, similar stuff to talk to them about. In the third world you either have them leave once your done, or spend some frustrating few hours trying to communicate on some mundane topic. In England, I take the ladies out to dinner (they won't charge you extra. Most will only charge for the time having sex) and talk for hours about similar subjects and hang out for a while. Also, you don't feel like a sleazy sex tourist. While it's ironic me saying this, but it does look fucking dodgy and off putting being some rich looking overweight foreigner with some young third-world local hanging off you. All the looks you get, not just from random people, but staff that serve you at restaurants who look at you and treat you with contempt. In the first world, none of that shit. People would assume she is your wife / girlfriend. The constant requests to buy stuff they "could never afford". First world girls don't ask you to buy them stuff, they can get it themselves.

I don't know if I'm getting soft in my old age (36 LOL) , but I'm loving the companionship. After a successful hour booking in the UK (ie. You both get along well and feel some connection) , its pretty easy to organise / bargain an overnight for US$500-700. That's great value for money when you factor in what you get for that. None of these rush over nights either (8-10 hours). At least 24 hours as long as you look after them (feed / entertain etc). The recession has hit Europe pretty fucking hard, so these girls are happy to do great deals if your a nice guy. Its not like they have queues out the door for their services.

And its just like home. Watch TV, go out anywhere, go do anything. Only diff is the place looks a little older and people speak with an accent. No need to load up on DVDs at some polvo cause the local tv shits you or trying to find ways to entertain yourself. You can walk into any pub/nightclub/shop whatever and be understood and get exactly what you want.
