The price in May was the same as before. 200 Sol (plus 20 Sol for a taxi) and a bit more, payable in US$, for the English-speaking girl. She is definitely worth the extra fee. If she decides to show up and you really get to meet her. But check with David. These prices are almost two months old.

I give them a bit more when I feel it is justified. If they stay with me longer, if they try to do whatever it takes to make me satisfied, for late evening dates, etc. They never ask for anything extra. It has always been up to me. And, if they are interested, I also offer to take them out for lunch, dinner or drinks. So the overall tab comes easily to 400 – 500 Sol per date.

I am already looking forward to my next trip:-).

The trip did not start as well as I expected. My flight arrived shortly before 9 pm and I was supposed to meet girl #1 later that same night. While shopping for some supplies (vodka, juice, beer, water, etc.), I have received a call around 11 pm that she won't be able to make it. Oh, well

Girl #2 showed up the next day at noon. A very tiny girl, she joked with me about her age (I hope I can trust David on this). We used an online translator to communicate and, when my notebook would not work (no signal where we were sitting), she really surprised me by taking out her own small netbook. She was the most timid of all the girls I met in Lima but I did enjoy the session and she seemed to like it at least a bit as well. Nonsense. In my younger, better conditioned days, I rode with a group of other bicyclists across trail ridge road in Colorado - 12,180 feet. Without bottled oxygen. People can certainly go to altitudes around 20,000 feet without a bottled air supply, depending upon how well acclimated they are to the altitude.

There are villages in the Himalayas and the Andes that are at elevations above 16,000 feet.

unbon - I'm just passing thru here...BUT - maybe at 12,000 METERS, not 12,000 FEET. I've walked in Lhasa and while it was tiring (being a low elevation boy) it didn't make me pass out. 12,000 M, awake time is under 30 SECONDS

I have skied for hours at 14,500 ft and never lost consciousness! I was at almost 16,000 ft twice this weekend and never suffered Soroche!

Many couples were "doing it" and there were no casualties.

No airplanes do not count! My highest previous BJ was at 11,500 in Switzerland. I had multiple rounds in Huancayo (11,000) this week, but I had already beaten that in Colorado at A-Basin.
