I chose to rent a 3-bedroom apartment on the Malecon not far from Larcomar (thanks, David, for your help with choosing this place). Not the cheapest way to stay in Lima but the building was very secure (almost too much – my first visitor had a really hard time getting to my apartment; after that the security guys knew what to do with my guests), I had a panoramic view of the ocean and the coast, and all the girls seemed to have liked it.

Taxi

I used Taxi Lima Peru (http://www.Taxilimaperu.com/) for both my airport runs. I submitted a reservation request over their web site while still at home. Renato called me on my US phone to confirm the whole arrangement, and again later on my local Lima phone to confirm my trip back to the airport. At $19 each way I spent a bit more but I felt secure and I did not have to worry about possibly missing my flight.

My Claro phone number remained valid since my March trip but it did not work until I managed to get it re-registered (I had to give them my name, passport number and the phone number, and they took care of it). I did that at the Claro store right at the airport next to the departures upstairs. The store seems to be open either very late or maybe even 24 hours and the whole process took approximately 15 minutes. And surprisingly I kept my leftover credit from my previous trip.

I left my "program" up to David. He asked me what I wanted to do and when, he warned me that having a late night session was not such a good idea, but then he went ahead and arranged it anyway when I would not listen. And when it blew up in my face, he was able to arrange a "replacement date" for me. I realize there are some other places available in Lima (TR, Pizza Alley, Las Cucardas, Trocadero, etc.) and that some of them might be quite a bit cheaper, but his friends are simply amazing. On this trip all of them provided GFE sessions, they seem to be quite intelligent and were really anxious to satisfy me. If only one of them did not bail out on me twice.

The only problem was my Spanish –with one exception the girls don't really speak any English. I am trying to learn but it is a slow process. There is always some down time with the girls (at least for me – at my age I have certain limits and I need a break between rounds), some of them wanted to go out with me, and not being able to talk to them is limiting the overall experience.

This place is really something. I have already booked another trip for later this year and I am trying to squeeze in another one. And as long as David is willing to help me I might keep coming back.

On my last evening I was supposed to meet girl #1 again but she bailed out on me one more time and I was contemplating if I should give up and go to bed alone, or go to TR as a last resort. It was already almost 10 pm when I decided to contact David and see if he could help me. And a miracle happened. Around 11:30 pm I watched girl #4 step out of the elevator. I wish I knew how he does this The only problem was how late it was – she was great in bed (especially her BBBJ skills were nice) but she couldn't stay long and had to leave shortly before 2 am (I believe she had to get up early and go to work).

All the girls provided a great GFE and it seems to get even better if I meet the same girl repeatedly. The second session with girl #3 was simply awesome and girl #1, who I already knew from my previous trip, was one of the best experiences I ever had. If only she would be a bit more dependable – bailing out twice out of four scheduled sessions is not great of a batting average. I will try to meet her again during my next trip but I am not sure I will be able to put up with this if it happens again. I hope it doesn't as that would be a shame

dump him on the border with Peru/Chile and "see what happens". Frontier justice calls for setting him ablaze and hanging him, but that would be to Humane!

He better hope he gets extradited to the U.S....although since the Peruvian Justice System has recently released a U.S. born terrorist after 15 years when she was originally given a life sentence, he might be better off taking his chances here.

I was in Lima for 4 days in late May, I haven't seen any black girls, pretty or not. The only black people I saw were in Barranco and they seemed destitute. I am Black, BTW. I would loved to have met any black Peruvian girls.

You don't see too many that's why I got such a strong response from people. This girl looked more dominican than anything else.

Well the shoe is on the other foot now. He couldn`t have picked a worst girl to murder. The father is HEAVILY connected, has lots of money and ran for President twice. Unfortunately in the screwed up justice system here, he probably won´t get life. More likely 30 years or so, and he gets a bunch of benefits for good behavior, so he could get out in 7 years. However, given who his victim was, I think that it is extremely likely that he will have an unfortunate and painful fatal "accident" before he is released.

Apparently, this girl Stephanie Flores, whom Van der Sloot supposedly killed, had won big at the casino that night, and Van der Sloot stole over $5000 of her cash winnings from her, according to the Chilean authorities that arrested him.

Another interesting tidbit, it had been rumored that one reason the Aruban justice system never closed in on him was that his father used his influence as a high powered attorney in Aruba, who was on track to become a judge in Aruba, to get him cut slack that the average suspect would not have been able to there and also had coached up his son on how to handle his interrogations in Aruba. But Van der Sloot's father dropped dead of a heart attack while playing tennis in February of this year, while Van der Sloot had been in the Netherlands attending school. So he has also lost much of the legal expertise and influence that kept him from getting indicted in Aruba.

There is a lot of misinformation going around about this piece of shit.
First, he not a Gringo, he's Dutch. He had a reputation of preying on young American tourist girls and providing them with drugs,etc. while they were vacationing in Aruba.


The incident involving Natalee Hollaway, took place five years ago in Aruba. Van der Sloot was a 17 year old Dutch national who had been living with his family at the time of the girl's disappearance. His father , an attorney was in training to become an Aruban judge. Van der Sloot was arrested and held for questioning several times, but the justices never indicted him so he could be tried. Neither were two Arubans that were also identified as having been with them that night ever indicted and tried.

Natalee Hollaway was from Alabama. She was in Aruba celebrating graduation from High School with several classmates. By all accounts she was partying very hard. It was established via video evidence, that van der Sloot was with her the night she disappeared, but a body has never turned up, and there was little or no forensic evidence linking him to her after they left the casino.


He went to Holland and went to a University over there and made some headlines periodically about the Hollaway case. He was supposedly the target of a sting by a Dutch investigating journalist and video was published .

Extortion charges in the United States
On June 3, 2010, van der Sloot was charged in the U S District Court of Northern Alabama ,with extortion for trying to get $250,000.00 in exchange for the location of Natalee Holloway's body. According to NBC affiliate WFSA, the criminal complaint filed with the court reveals that an advance amount of $15,000 had been wired from Alabama to the Netherlands on May 10, 2010. Supposedly, Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty contacted the FBI and that the money was used by van der Sloot to finance his trip to Peru
There have been a lot of twists and turns in this case in the last five years, but Aruba has a funky legal system compared to what we are accustomed to in the USA.

One thing is certain: His worst fucking nightmare would be to spend years in a Peruvian prison. It might also be the only justice the Hollaways get for their daughter.

Because of his first murder. He could admit to commiting it in order to avoid Peruvian jail (unfortunately no death penalty here any more), and the U.S. would want him there. Doubtful though. There was no way he could hide anywhere anyway, according to his taxi driver he´s more than two meters tall.

This is one guy, who has been strongly suspected of killing another young woman he dated before. I don't think that any ethnic group of people are responsible for the particular actions of any one specific serial killer. There are serial killers of all sorts of ethnicities floating around the world, and people understand this.

I agree with this comment. Peruvians are awfully nice people. They aren't going to treat people like we do in america. If anything they would be scared of you. That is what I felt when the other case was going on a few years back. Online dating would be my ST concern.

Gringos are frightening to a lot of people in south america. They don't understand our aggressiveness and lack of compassion. You need to prove you are on the up and up (by your actions) then things will be fine. I've caught myself many times trying to contain my ny attitude. It does nothing for me in SA.
