Decided to visit this place since it is pretty easy walking distance to me. Entrance is S/15 and Massage S/30. I had Dandiella who gave a nice massage and I would have done more but was told nada mas. Could any frequenting members follow-up on that or was it a first-time thing. Btw, M, T, W is discount days so entrance and massage is S/35 together. I'll definitely try a few more times since for about $12 on early weekdays, you can't beat it. They close Sundays. Not the newest place on the block but the steam was hot and relaxing. In a Chinese district so you can have lunch at about 10 different Chinese places all around it (I think mine was Chinchef or something and was good if not a little salty).

Well, I made it to the Maria Luisa last night at about 1am. The flight went fine out of Houston, but even though I was first off the plane, customs was pretty slow, with a 40 minute or so wait.

Caught a taxi outside for 30 Soles. I was amazed at how much new construction I saw. Tons of fast food places, malls, etc. It's been over 3 years since my last visit, but it was a bit amazing.

Today when I went out to get a Sim card, I noticed that they're still building on the corner by the ML. They had started the project in 2005, I think, but still weren't done with it.

I got a Claro sim card at the Claro office down 4-5 blocks from the ML. 15 soles, and it takes about 15 minutes. Get a number, go to a counter, give your ID, pay the cashier, go back to the counter, wait 7-8 minutes for everything to be finished.

I found the guys selling Soles on the street were basically the same closer to Parque Kennedy, and decreasing the closer to the beach. 3.07-3.06-3.05. A Western Union place was giving 3.075, but would only change $100.

I've got a safe in my ML room this time, hopefully a repeat of the thieving from the last trip won't happen.

well, i have been remiss in not providing any updates these few years. i haven't done a lot of travelling, but i did have a dr, ba and med trips which i didn't file. i just don't venture outside of the basics reported here so i generally don't have much new to say. anyway, since i am down here for a month till xmas, i figure i should at least give a quick weekly update.

flew down 25th from mia on the late flight which was supposed to be arrived at 10pm, however somehow either the pilot overshot or got waived off landing by traffic control. we had to do a full circle around and wasted at least a half hour (ughh). immigration was quick since i was on a ff business ticket and first out, however luggage came out almost an hour later. i guess i checked in so early i was packed way in. lesson on that one, however i actually flew in to fll on a southwest free ticket and rented a car to mia for my aa ticket (couldn't make the freebies work otherwise), so i wanted to be sure i had some time knowing car rentals in mia.

got an apartment in the reducto/28 de julio building in miraflores. the full place still isn't finished yet as they are still working the workout room upstairs. basic construction but clean and security is top notch. really the only way to go if you come for a month. i actually will be in cuzco for 6 days, but i like having my major stuff be tucked away somewhere and travel lighter.

as an aside, and i know this has been stated before, please take care of your security people, especially in private apartments. these guys really watch your back and look directly at the face of who is going in with you at night. here they don't ask for cedulas since i am the resident, but they are watching the state of the chica you are with very subtley and are really your first line of defense in a rare problem. bring them a cafe and cake or empanada at night once in a while. k, nuff said on that.

went to tr first night as it was almost 2am when i signed lease. most of the chicas looked pretty good, but the columbianas always are the hottest. i have almost always kept to my pledge never to go for columbian outside of there native turf due to aggressive nature, but i had to talk to "lady" who is purrfect petite frame, awesome butt, and that dark hair, porcelain skin. i had to at least buy her a drink to get the deal. wants $150. i say i really have to conserve since i am in town for a while and may repeat. she says after first time then $120. i say tln? she says 90 minutes or so. i said i need to think about it and she never pushed it and walked. i believe she gets it, but not from me. i did get her number though. anybody have any advice on how to work her down. i am thinking get her during the day on like a sunday or monday and maybe see if she would do $80. she is a fantasy and i fear i may break down if she refuses my drop-down offer.

after that deal busted, two pretty hot locals came in for the swoop and immediatly started the kiss smothering and dfk. i figure, ok, i could do this for a while and got a back table and got them a few drinks ( the more like 20 sole kind instead of 10, but i had some good action for about 10 minutes. they wanted $100 each and i knew it wasn't going to happen as they would be speed screws as the agressive tagteams usually are. however, worth the drinks.

after this i went to the right side of the place. for those that have been, the left is where most of the chicas hang with the two main bars. the right is a little more laid back. near the men's bathroom was magi who i bought a drink. i offerred s/200 she said s/250. i stopped and she came back with tln and although it pretty late, i just said including taxi and we went. nice night, but not as tight as i would have liked. still, she slept with me a good 3 hours after like a little angel.

i won't be this verbose about every encounter but i always find it useful to get a newbie impression of a new place to them to help others. anyway, i went last night (friday) also and magi immediately cornered me and i ended up with a drink for her but told it wasn't going to happen again, just yet anyway. ended up buying her friend karla a drink (a little plump for me usually but i just hit it off with her happy personaility). she spent the night for s/200 + taxi. as an aside i just don't see anyway i could get s/150 stuff in there that i would be happy with and i usually am better with bargaining since i always do a drink and (medium) spanish chit-chat.

did rv twice, both with sandra. again, very unique as has been reported. sandra is taller than the other girls but nice smile. it was great after first visit with hj and russian but in the jacuzzi at the end i really thought we agreed for me to come back in two days where she would offer a bj. i made the appointment and she was all gfe but she wouldn't go there. i wasn't in the mood to finish hj this time since i had the full sauna/steam/jacuzzi thing and was just too wet for anything else. i tried to bring it up again where i probably could only finish with the mouth. i don't know, i guess it didn't connect and i am not the type to push these things. i'll do the place again with others next time and see what happens. i do like the place though.

tried to go to luanys - calle ignacio merino and i found the little alley but the door was closed and i knocked and rang all three things that looked like they may be working buzzers. this was about 3pm on thurs, so who knows. ended up doing plaza armas touring and ended at trocadero. i just couldn't nut in the place. there are some cuties and i found a nice petite chica from i think paraguay. s/20 + s/10 extra for bbbj which was about 30 seconds and then lifelessness humping (although she was tighter than i thought she would be). just not my cup of tea since i really need to talk a bit beforehand, but i could see the appeal for trying multiple pops for hopefully one good experience. i would say it was something i wanted to just see, but unless you can get hot walking a prison cell environment and like smelling the open stall [CodeWord140] stench around each corner, i would say ensure you have a backup lay for that day. again, to each his own.

that's about it for now. food is good here except for the one meal i had at pizza alley and the drinks are reasonable. streets in some poorer areas smell too much like [CodeWord140] because of lack of rain. i go everywhere alone and never feel threatened however callao is definitely cab material.

will probably try some apartment delivery options for chicas upcoming.

I got there about 2 o´clock, there were only three girls. One fat and ugly, one "busy," and one so-so. Tall, brunette, with a slight overbite. I remember living in LA when everyone was warned about all the chaos that was supposed to occur during the 84 (geez am I that old?) Olympics. Turned out to be the quietest time ever with hardly any traffic, pedestrian or car, and no problems. There was even silence. That is how Lima, or at least Miraflores is, right now. Nice and mellow, which are words I´ve never heard used to describe Lima or any part of it before. It´s great.

But LB, the only people I saw "lining up" outside the Marriott were the riot police protecting Bushie and whoever else, and there were hundreds of them. Had to take a long walk detour just to get to Larcomar.

And for those ignorant among us, wtf is Antofogasta?
