Mestizo does not mean white. It means a mixture of native populations and Europeans, usually Spaniards of some type in most of Central and South America.

I visited Colombia 2 times, but looking the peru photo gallery in this forum and pics from other places, I really amazed, cause i can see a lot of beauties from Peru.

Please, can anyone compare both scenarios? (girls, safety, prices, etc?, freebie and p4p scene)

I just came back from Colombia a few weeks ago.

If you like darker Indian women and spinners Lima is a great place for it. If lighter skin more mestizo (white) looking girls are your thing Medellin has more of them.

I found prices to be almost equal on the budget side of things. I would assume higher end prices in Medellin run the gamut of $70 US and above. Lima would fall into the same category more or less.

Both are rough and somewhat dangerous (minus Poblado and Miraflores) in my book. Medellin has a huge drug problem that is out in the open.

IMHO there is way more to do in Lima, way better food, better prices for non pfp activities better rates on hotels.

Both have great GFE potential.

Just got back from my 3 week trip in Peru, mostly business in the Iquitos and Tarapoto areas, but with a little time for mongering activity as well. It was my first time in Peru. I benefitted greatly from the posts here, so will hopefully help someone else by sharing my experiences. Here are my first impressions of Lima. I will add posts on Iquitos and Tarapoto on those pages a little later.

Got in to Lima about midnight and the "official" taxis inside the airport wanted an astonishing $50 US to take me to Miraflores. I went outside and tried to bargain there but the best I got was $20 US. After a wild ride along the coastal road I got to Hotel Maria Luisa about 1:30 AM. I had a junior suite there and I would say it was only passable. In my opinion.

I walked down to see what the famous Tequila Rocks was like. What I found after paying their S. /30 entrada was a very smoky and loud disco with a few well experienced pros standing around the dance floor. The place is much smaller than I had expected, and so loud that my half-ass Spanish would not stand a chance of starting a decent conversation with a chica. I drank a S. /10 Cusqueña then left. Not my kind of place at all!

I then walked around Parque Kennedy and up and down Pizza Alley. The SW's there were pretty rough looking, and it was nearly 3 AM so I just walked back to the Maria Luisa and saved my leche for Iquitos the next night.

The Maria Luisa got me a taxi back to the airport the next day for only S. /30. So I guess I really got ripped off on the way in.

Overall my impression of Lima was pretty bad that first night, but fortunately I had a much better experience three weeks later when I returned there. Will write up the details on that in a later post.

Since I have been lumped together with Tabu2777, I will once again mention that I was right on the money with my feelings as to where he got his photos, that he had no permission to post the photos and that he is a guy trying to make money off of members of the forum. Since I have never charged anyone a cent I feel morally justified to say that as far as Tabu2777´s and L.B.´s services are concerned, "I neither endorse nor criticize them!"
