Congratulations Elberto, that's quite an accomplishment.

It was $250 bucks for six pops, not one, over almost 24 hours. And she was a bonafide "9", from the #2 strip club in Panama City. Since incomes in Panama on average are 2X what they are in Peru, I guess you'd be a chump if you couldn't pull a hooker from Emmanuelle for 24 hours for a whole lot less than $125. Why don't you give that a try tomorrow evening.

I met up with LimaBusy and some other Americans last night for drinks, and after everyone took off I walked around Miraflores and finally stopped in a bar in the lobby of a hostel. It was crowded and the only seat I found was beside a pretty Peruvian lady in her early to mid 30s. We started to chat and everything went well, and when we didnt understand one another a nice bilingual guy sitting next to her would help us translate. After a while she told him to tell me that we should go somewhere more private to talk.

On the way back to my hotel we ran the gauntlet on Pizza Street, where a guy got her attention for a dance bar with a live band. We danced a lot and after 2 hours my clothes were soaked with sweat, just like in Panama City when you leave the hotel in the morning. We had to leave when I ran out of money, but on the way to the hotel we stopped and she bought a bottle of wine.

We talked while she drank and before long she had finished the whole bottle. She wanted to take a bath together. We put too much water in the tub, so when we got in we flooded the bathroom floor and into the hallway. I used the towels to mop up, and drained the water out of the scale on the floor.

After the full bottle of wine she was really wasted and I didnt think it was a good idea to take it any further. I put her to bed and cursed my luck about not getting laid, while simultaneously praying she wouldnt choke to death on her own vomit as we slept. We woke up this morning surprisingly refreshed and finished what we had started the night before. It was worth the wait, and reminded me why Latinas are the best.

I had a good time in Lima recently and visited Banos Turcos behind Interbank Building. Well run place, mostly attractive girls in the 5-9 range. Had a good hour session and enjoyed having her take care of me. Cost was reasonable at S80 for the house and S50 for the girl. I thought S50 was a decent tip (she said she does about 5 men per day, so it would come out to S250. But she pressured me to tip more, even though there was no full service.

Visited Banos Turcos at Hotel Bruce. Vastly inferior and would not go back.

Otherwise, I had much better luck just meeting girls on the street.

I have not been there in (R&V) in sometime but do to it's popularity prices must be rising. It used to be S/.70 plus the standard S/.30 for propina and S/.50 for FS. With regards to the "Bruce Hotel/Casino/Chinese restaurant/Spa/Playa and soon to open Money launderer" it has always been a "poor value proposition" for the uninformed. A friend used to know a few "8's" that we could have before their shift for S/.100 for a few hours. He used to wait for them at Vivanda aka Santa Isabel back in the day.

Lima's streets IMHO has always had some of the best "low hanging fruit" in SA and is the reason so many guy's keep coming back to feast!

Hello all! Long time member and lurker here and I am planning my debauchery tour to Peru soon. Me 27, fluent in spanish with trips completed to Dominican R. Costa Rica, and lived in Mexico for a year. What are you paying for airfare? I'm flying out of SDF Louisville, KY, but not opposed to flying to Chicago or other places for cheaper fare. Cheapest I have found is $850 for the beginning of Feb. That to me is ricockulous! I can fly almost anywhere in the world for that money. Any tips or suggestions?

Shortbuss23, the best advise I can offer is to check LAN.com. They have had the least expensive flights to Peru that I have found- but its just not that inexpensive, unfortunately. My airfare in December was about $900, LA to Lima. I'm coming again in February, and the exact same flight is costing me $650. There was a deal direct from Miami for about $500, but the prices change pretty regularly.
Just keep searching, the prices for flights start going up once you get within a 2 week window. And your best bet is to keep checking the actual airline websites- Delta, AA, LAN, etc. They almost always have as good a price or better than the big three travel brokers(Orbits, Expedia, Travelocity).

Your post was awesome. I was laughing all over imagining a Turban hunt in Mumbai. Let me know next time you are in India, I will point you better. (Also you can surely buy turbans in Toronto or NYC suburbs or other Sikh populated areas.) But tying it up is a 30 minute affair.

If your indian american friend likes Lima then I take it that Lima has a cosmopolitan outlook also, as Rio does.

Dammit man. I went all over Mumbai trying to find one of those turbans. Late at night my Sikh taxi driver told me they sell them at the market. So the next day I was on a quest and about 6 hours into my search someone finally told me that it's something that is learned to make at home. So I finally just ended up buying a prefab dress hat at Eliperi.

But as far as Lima, I would say if you survived in Rio you should be okay in Lima. I have an Indian/American friend who swears by Lima. We argue Lima vs. Rio all the time. Just remember to keep the card of your hotel in your pocket so you can just show it to the taxi driver if you venture out of Miraflores. I will be there from the 29th to 31st of this month.

Last month most guys were paying $1100-$1300 Hou or Ewr -Lim and about $600.00 or so Mia-Lim. I suggest you fly to Miami on a discount carrier and then come down.

You can also go to embassy with all documents they ask you, but always they invent one excuse to avoid you the visa. Cause the employees of embassy gain a lot selling visas to criminals and recomended people so they don't want never give you a visa if you are not one of the payng recomended people.

So if you have not good concact and good green bucks don't try to ask a visa it's only to lose time and maybe some money, for the transport untill the embassy.

From my understanding, Spain is the prime destination for those who want to escape Latin America since getting a US visa is so difficult. I read a recent article that the EU is concerned about the influx of poor, unskilled immigrants from Latin America and they may impose a visa requirement before arrival. With the possibility that entry into Spain and the rest of Europe might be shut down or more difficult, the migration there has increased.

Earlier this week El Comercio ran the emigration stats, including destination countries. According to them, the number of peruvians fleeing the country for greener pastures has quintupled over the last decade. US was the most popular greener pasture, followed by Spain.

The only thing that the article didn't make clear was who were these people. Were they rich and fled with their money or are they now working as bus boys and waiters at all night diners? No idea.

All NFL games can be seen live at "The Corner" which is the bar described by Aurab(hey buddy)! Also the Super Bowl can be watched there and at the "Old Pub" on Pizza street. More than likely it will be on at every TGIF,Chili's,Hooter's,etc in the lima districts.

5. How big a role does money play, in an average person's life? That is, would people usually work overtime for a few extra bucks or would they prefer spending time with families and friends?

I would say that Peruanas are quite typical Latinas, and do not view sex as as a weapon to manipulate the guy, like gringas. First of all, because they guy can easily get it somewhere else, this is not sex prison, Corporate States of America. Second, like typical Latinas, they are hot, and like to do it, especially if you do it right ( a lot of local guys will not).

I think overall they are proud to be Peruvians, just like Colombians are proud to be Colombian, and Argentines are proud...(hey, they sell a shirt in BA saying " no solamente soy perfecto...soy Argentino!")...but pride alone does not pay the bills; I think quite a few would be interested in greener pastures.
