I had high hopes for my short trip to Lima knowing that Jockey16 would help a brother enjoy his stay. As the trip approached trouble appeared on the horizon and I had to decline Jockey's generous aid. Such a disappointment, but better that than flaking at the last minute. As things turned out, I was right to cancel early. It was just damn impossible to break away from the others. The best I could do was duck into a place called Therapy Spa just south of Parque Kennedy on Av. Alfredo Benvenides. As you enter the building from the street it's tucked way back inside this labyrinthine complex with a modest sign outside the door. 55 or 65 soles gets you a decent massage, a handshake and no touching by you at all. Maybe the other providers offer more but not the one I saw. With so much on offer in this city why bother unless, like me, you can't ditch the Puritans.

Too bad you didn't check old post (before 2020) nor contacted other forists living in Lima or having been here recently. Instead of "Therapy Spa" you should have gone to Relax & Vida and gotten, at least, a decent BJ on top of a sexy massage and plenty of touching from both parts. Of course that would be a little more than twice the price but worth the difference. You can read plenty of reports on Relax & Vida in the pre-2020 posts. There are other similar places that you could have gone to (if you could manage to go to "Therapy Spa" you definitely could have gone elsewhere close by) and found more fun, of course at a higher cost. But no higher than pre-2020.

That is interesting Pinetree. When Mr. E showed the signs about sex trafficking, I was concerned Peru might start cracking down on the world's oldest profession. What I learned about the pandemic with Peru is how reactionary the government was. They shut their borders and did not care who was stuck behind. I did not see the outrage there that I saw in other countries. While Peru went on lockdown forever, Colombia did as well until the people revolted. There was no revolting in Peru from what I saw.

What I loved about Peru was that you could do practically anything as long as you did not hurt another: drugs, gambling, women, and they have amazing food there. I was afraid though that the women part may be gone and if the government deems it such, I am not sure how much of a fight there will be.

In Texas, laws have been changed such that prostitution or rather men seeing hos is now a felony. Professionals have to take classes on human trafficking to get their licenses, and I just wondered how long until it spread to the rest of the world. It seemed inevitable.

Peru certainly has other things to offer tourists so this will not be much of a hit for them. It is just amazing to me that one of the most tolerant nations on the planet may be cracking down on the sex biz.

It was a perfect storm, no doubt. My side girl is game for just about anything and she knows my situation so I didn't have to pull the wool over her eyes. The wife is like clockwork. She is in bed by 10 at the latest and when you add the pace of being on vacation, she is out. I could have banged a woman on the bed next to her, and she would not have woken up (maybe). The hotel staff in Lima was crazy discreet and the guide as well. So all in all, it wasn't a juggling act as much as it was a waiting game. Once she fell asleep, I was in the clear.
