The recommendation stands to anyone going to explore the LOS Olivos / Independencia area but it's not worth the trip to go all that far just for the food.

If you want to try Amazonian food close to Miraflores, try amaz Restaurante, gourmet amazonian food at the Hilton Lima Miraflores Hotel in Av. La Paz, or Restaurante Mishkina in Av. Republica de Panama. Just bear in mind that most amazonian food is a little dry (not juicy), so it must be generously accompanied by a sauce called aji de cocona which is very very good; but if you are not used to hot (spicy) sauces, you'd better ask the waiter to serve it "no muy picante" (not too hot).

Thanks for the info! I may have given the wrong impression that I only like posh gourmet places. I don't mind dining at all sorts of places from food stalls, markets, to 3 Michelin star joints. But the place in the Hilton seems way more convenient. I'll try to get some time to check it out.

Also, if anyone knows any must see touristy stuff please let me know. I want to spend some time checking out the city.

I am a bit of a foodie, and never really have had amazonian food. I looked up these places and it seems like they are over an hour away from Miraflores. Do you think it would be worth the trip just for that?

I just wanted to thank everyone for keeping this forum active with up to date information. Ill be in town the 19th - 24th, and thanks to this board found a couple girl friendly hotels to stay at (JW Marriott and Doubletree). I managed to snag reservations at a few restaurants that I really wanted to try (Central and Astrid why Gaston). Really looking forward to exploring a new city even if the trip is pretty short. If anyone is in town and wants to grab a drink and / or has the contacts for any girls shoot me a private message.

I have only been back once since the Metropolitano has been constructed, and didn't catch it then (It was just the Miraflores line at the time).

I was worried it would be really crowded and unsafe (I'm picturing TransJakarta as that has a similar timeline to the Lima Metropolitano and heard horror stories about that).

If it's quiet in off-peak times I might consider it.

    I've been, it's just been a while.

But what I did last time was I flew return.

This time I want to go to all the Chongos on the way then only fly back to Lima.

I read about ones in Chincha and Pisco, I still haven't visited Arequipa, etc.

Which do you think is the best "Small City" Chongo town? From what I've visited it's between Tacna and Chiclayo. I'm considering a smaller city for retirement based on how bad the traffic in Lima has gotten lately. Also considering Lima Provinces, somewhere like Huaral or Huacho, where I can catch a cheap bus to Plaza Norte/La Victoria easily if I need to do an overnight trip to Lima for something.

When you enter a room with a girl, everybody runs up to the door to peep thru the holes in the door and they like to listen!

Anaconda I didn't like. I already knew I got to early! Cause as I was leaving,3 more attractive girls entered, Damn! But since both places are in the "hood", I like to see the lay of the land during the daytime. Las Sirenitas was great! They have some very pretty girls coming in. I was shocked at the quality of the girls! Its very clean too! The only problem I found with Las Sirenitas is,. Its just too dang far! In this traffic, coming from Miraflores to Olivos forget about it! Both places are similar to Las Cucardas. But I love Las Cucardas more. I enjoy the Troc too!

The mission to Las Sirenitas / Anaconda is complete. Part2

OK! As I finished a hot session with my first Venezuelan, I went back the entrance area where the restaurant is, and I got myself 2 beers and a plate of fried rice and chicken with a cup spicy sauce on the side. As I was sitting there eating my food,. I started to see a parade of beautiful girls come in. I mean there was some super hotties coming in! Um like great! I done shot my load and I was tired! But, it was OK. Cause, I had my first Venezuelan girl! At this time, it was 3:20,I was approached by Security, and he told me that they were in the middle of a shift change and I would have to wait outside until 4 pm Where I could come back in, but this time,. I would have to pay a entry fee of 10 soles! I thought about staying, but I was like screw this I'm going to Anaconda!

Anaconda was slow!. They only had one girl working there! Really!. So, I took her service was OK. She was short, had some nice tits, kinda on the chunky side. She had a good attitude that help! I finished my session, I went to the bar area bought me a beer, drunk that. Then, I left Anaconda. The entry fee was 5 soles and the fee for the girl was 35 soles.

    Mission complete!

The mission to Las Sirenitas / Anaconda is complete.

    Hi,

Down under! I want to tell you that the mission to Las Sirenitas and Anaconda is complete! I want to say that the trip to and from Los Olivos was pure hell! I started out at 11 AM from Miraflores (The Traffic! And didn't get to Las Sirenitas until 12:30! But, when I finally got there, I stopped at Las Sirenitas first. The fee to the taxi driver was 25 soles. I entered the door got patted down by Security, went to the window and paid the fee of 5 soles. The beer, water, and Gatorade are 5 soles each. OK, so after I payed my entrance fee, I entered and started checking out the girls. The place is small, and they had one area roped off for cleaning. I found my first Venezuelan girl! She was super hot! She had long hair, nice tits,5'8 and a beautiful ass! She charged 40 soles for a covered BJ and sex. I got to tell ya she was sexy as hell, and she rocked my world! We did multi positions as I got on top pounding the pussy, she started slapping me! Telling que rico! And to give it to her harder! Um like, uh. OK. I never been slapped before. She was into it, so I was into it! This girl was a freak!!

    Street action in Miraflores

    Hello all!

There is street action in Miraflores around park Kennedy. The area with all the restaurants. But, you have to come out at night around 11 pm At 3 AM Monday morning, I was out walking near park Kennedy looking for something to eat, and I was approached by a streetwalker she wanted 200 soles for full service including a massage. I declined because I was very hungry. And I could not tell if she was a tranny. I could look at her face and saw she had some work done. But, no thanks!

Come to think of it, there were quite a few vacant rooms, but still a decent selection of girls. So happy that the price is just 25 soles! This lets me bang 2 to 3 chicas without breaking the bank! On the BBBJ,. I did not get lucky. I ask 2 different girls for that service and said no. My offer was 80 soles.

I will be back maybe tomorrow with a different strategy. I check out the entrance on the right this time. I will how many girls are available there. If my memory serves me right, there are 3 hallways and an upstairs too!

Just for the hell of it, I will try to do at least 1 girl from each side.
