    Argentina vs Uruguay

Neither. Nobody is getting into either. What guys are talking about here is nonsense. Period.

    Argentina

Yes Buenos Aires was always better than Montevideo, but two main things.

First, The country is on Lock-down because of the Virus. https://secretsofbuenosaires.com/arg...ourism-resume/.

Second, a few years ago the government closed all places for sex.

There are Only online and a few street chicas if you can find them.

I made many maps of the places but, are useless now.

Agreed. There is absolutely no reason to go to Montevideo when you can choose BA.

Unless you have family in Uruguay, or are a pilot, or are a seaman working on a ship, you're not getting in:

You'll have a better chance getting into Argentina if you're a tourist trying to visit from a neighboring country:

Surfer500 thanks for the excellent report with on-the-ground reporting with addresses, casa names and prices. This is the kind of information that makes this forum useful for others.

So I notice very few reports over the past several months for this City, and suspect there are some great brothels here with reasonable pricing if you have the time to explore them. As usual it's always going to be hit or miss at these places depending on the girls attitude, etc. I also suspect there might be an okay SW scene here and wish I had more time to explore it.

This City May Have More To Offer Than People Realize

So only being in town for three days, and with today being my only free day before departing to BA, I decided to visit some of the "brothels" or "casa's" or whatever they call them here. The first one I visited was Divas Sex Club on Yaguaron 1414. I rang the bell and a lady answered and let me in. I asked how much they charged, and then the lady went and got another girl who could better understand my Spanish. After talking with her she said wait a minute, and went into another room and came back a few minutes later and told me that foreigners get charged 1,200 Pesos for thirty minutes which included oral and penetration with no extras. I decided to pass on this establishment figuring I would probably be paying double the going rate so headed next to Sensaciones located at Tacuarembo 1520 at Colonia and Mercedes. I walked in and was greeted by the Madam and was asked if I knew the pricing and I said no. She gave me the pricing which was 650 Pesos for half an hour including no extras and she then asked if I wanted to see the girls and said okay and at this point she didn't know I was a foreigner as I can pass as a Uruguayan, and had only uttered two words being no and yes in Spanish. Wow, what a parade of girls at 12 PM in the day. Each one came in, introduced themselves and gave me a kiss on the check. There was a total of twelve girls with no obese or ugly ones ranging from about 5 to 7's. So I made my choice, one of the thinner ones and we went to the room. The covered BJ was excellent, but afterwards she insisted on banging her in doggie. So what the hell, okay, and then I had her get on the edge of the bed, I laid some pillows down and had her lay down and it was starting to feel pretty good and I grabbed her ankles and so I could better penetrate her and then she informs me that this isn't a "basic" position, implying it would be an extra versus her just being on all fours. I decided not to fight it as this point so banged her on all fours versus angling into her, but couldn't finish. The room was hot as hell and it was noisy outside and I was trying to concentrate so I just ended the session, paid the girl the 650 Pesos and left. I wasn't mad at the girl and she was pleasant enough but you know how it goes sometimes. Anyways, at this point I decided to go to another place called Baires located at Marcelino Sosa 2213. I was greeted by the Madam and told her it was my first time there and she said it was 430 Pesos for half an hour with no extras, and if you wanted to touch the girl, etc. It was 520 Pesos and asked if I wanted to see the line-up. I was shown six girls and the line up wasn't as nice as Sensaciones but there was one pretty thin one I chose. A much better experience with this one, affectionate and after blowing me and getting me hard she says okay how do you want to start and I say hop on board so she gets on top and had some pretty good moves. After a while she says would like to try another position so we go too doggy and instead of having her get on the side of the bed I lay her down with pillows under her ass and gently go to town on her until I finished.

I'll pitch in my 2 cents here. While I have never mongered in Uruguay, I have lived there on and off for almost a year. Women in Montevideo and most of Uruguay are generally just average looking, nothing to write home about whatsoever. While there are some hotties walking around, its nothing compared to most other countries I've been to. However, if you do end up in north Uruguay in the city of Salto, the selection is a lot better. Prostitution is completely legal in Uruguay and a woman can even get a licensed card and collect pension from the state upon retirement (so I was told by Uruguayans). Anyway, you can find some street walkers in many parts of town, but especially in neighborhoods of Carrasco and Punta Gorda (richer parts) along side the Rambla. You'll see them standing there in the corners. Not many, usually one or two that's it, but some that I have seen were actually pretty doable. Not sure of the prices. As Frankfurt mentioned in his report, the prices seem very reasonable from his experience, however as I mentioned I can't comment on that since I have never paid for a girl there. The city of Montevideo is generally pretty safe. I have always felt safe there even walking late at night. Much safer than I ever felt living in Brooklyn or downtown L. A. If you do end up in MVD and want some good steaks and authentic Uruguayan food I can recommend you a few places such as El Fogon, La Casa Violeta, and La Perdiz. All very good eating, on the expensive side (from a Uruguayan perspective), but very affordable compared to same service / food quality in the states.

Excellent and much needed report FRobertson, thanks! This is why I love this forum for getting real on the ground reporting. You may have had two bad apples but on the positive side you got to see a new place and enjoyed Colonia. It'd be great if you can identify the bad apples so we can avoid them when it is our turn to be in MVD.

    Montevideo is disappointing

    Why go to Montevideo?

I was staying in Buenos Aires and wanted to see another country. So I took a weekend trip to Montevideo and Colonia.

    Logistics:

I ended up taking a morning Buquebus ferry to Montevideo, spending a night there, then taking a bus to Colonia and taking an evening ferry back to Buenos Aires. The ferry was about $70 to Montevideo and $50 from Colonia back. There was an option to upgrade to business class for about $10. I took the upgrade on the Montevideo leg but not on the return leg because for a 1-HR trip I thought it's not worth it. Business class gets you a separate area on the boat (but the noisy annoying babies are still there), a business lounge while waiting for the boat, and a coffee and 2 croissants at the aforementioned lounge. Overall, for $10 it was totally worth it. Any more and probably not.

The morning ferry departs at 7-something AM, gets to Montevideo just before 10 am. The passport control for both countries is done at the departure side.

    Money:

The currency in Montevideo is pesos. I used the ATM at the boat terminal (it's in the departure side of the terminal. Turn right and around the corner after exiting, and re-enter the building, it'll be to your left) -- that ATM only charges 100 pesos for a withdrawal, others in the city charge more. As always, I try to do as few withdrawals as possible to minimize the risks of encountering an ATM with a skimmer on it. At the time of this writing, 1000 pesos is about $28.5, or about 1280 Argentinian.

    Hotel:

Because it's winter, hotels are very cheap. I chose a decent hotel 2 blocks away from the main square in the old city; cost me about $50 for the night. I walked there from the ferry terminal and it took me about 30 minutes at moderate pace with photo stops. The walk basically crossed the whole old city. Nice views.

    Communication:

Sprint's free international internet works good enough in Uruguay.

    Transportation:

Somehow I forgot about Uber so I used taxis the few times I ventured outside the old city. They are about 2 x as expensive as in Buenos Aires (which still isn't much. The most I paid was just over 200 for a morning trip to the bus station, which is around $6). Some have modern meters that show the actual rate to be paid; others show numbers that need to be converted using a provided table. Either way, from my limited experience they aren't out to screw you. You can sit in the front with the driver or in the back.

    Other things:

The city is safe but it feels old and worn. It look.

It feels sketchy but everyone says that it's safe. If I found myself in an area in Brazil that looked like Montevideo, I'd start running and wouldn't stop until I got somewhere more civilized. But in Montevideo it's fine. I walked around the old city and outside the old city, no problems.

There is a number of free walking tours available. A great way to get to know the city in 2 hours. One of them is in the morning. The boat arrives early enough to have the time to get to and check in the hotel. Also, there are several small museums around the city, some of which are free. There are guided tours to the top of the weird tall building on the main square, most in Spanish but once a day there's a tour in English. The art museum has a Picasso exhibit but I didn't go. Wanted to, but decided to look for food and girls instead.

The food is noticeably more expensive than Buenos Aires. Good but nothing to write home about.

    Women:

Because I only had 1 day there and I generally don't like clubs / bars / all that junk, I went on pasion-uruguay.com. Lots of girls available, most responsive via whatsapp, very similar to Brazil. The prices are generally around 1000-1200 pesos for half an hour and 1500-2000 and up for an hour. Somewhat more expensive than Buenos Aires but still very, very affordable.

That website also has a map with massage clinics and clubs. But I didn't go to any of them.

Based on the pics, the girls aren't all that great. Not terrible but I've seen better in Buenos Aires. I picked a few and settled on two of the "girl next door" types.

I went to one privado in the "tres cruces" area (took taxi, about 15 minutes, just over 200 pesos). The girl looked kinda like her pic but wasn't very attractive and wasn't at all interested in me. The BBBJ and sex were there but almost as if she was simply doing her time.

Had another girl come to my hotel. Likewise, looks like her pic but in person not very attractive either. Same attitude. Not very interested in me or what she was doing, but passable BBBJ and sex.

None spoke english but it was never a problem because my needs are very basic and they generally respond with all the necessary details in whatsapp (price, location, what they do and don't do) so google translate works well.

So it could be that I picked 2 disappointing apples, or that the girls in Uruguay are generally disappointing.

Conclusion: it was a nice trip to see another country. But not a good mongering destination.

Would I return to Montevideo: on my own, probably not. The whole place reminds me of the Fallout universe.

Colonia, on the other hand, is a sweet little tourist paradise. Because it's off season, the city is quiet, the air is fresh and clean, and overall it's nice to sit around and do nothing. Special day trip fares are available from the ferry companies and cost $50 for the round trip. Last ferry is after 8 pm. Not sure about the mongering opportunities.

If you're interested about Uruguay in general, here's a good resource I found: https://guruguay.com/.

What will be my solid clubs or similar day action choices in MVD?
