I just came back fom a trip to caracas and feel asked for some adds to this board.

1. 100s of freebes are available on amigos.com. you need to understand at least some spanish. some of the girls, however, do well in english. the page is strange even if you dont like to pay for (as all the girls). but contacting works. venezuelians are kind of crazy with singlepages.

2. as a gringo in good shape you will easily find a girlfriend in the area of shopping center St. Ignacio (especially later of a week). you might be aware that venezuelian girls looking for well built men rather than just money.

I love Caracas also but it's definitely not the safest city ... there are nice areas though.
By the way ... the Venezuelan chicas generally are more dark skin than the Colombiana ... especially the Medellin chicas.
Personally, I love the dark skin morena ... for that, I love Caracas and coastal Colombia.

If you have done this is in other countries, I ask, how much has it cost you? Are we talking paying her regular hourly fee for a date that then becomes a regular wooing challenge?

Where in Columbia would you suggest? I have looked a bit closer since your post, and now I see what you mean.

I was looking for a good party city with a bit to do, and the lighter skinned Columbians. A more English speaking city also, if there is one.

Travelmen ... I don't understand when you say you think Caracas and BA girls are your type but you don't like Colombian ones ... Colombian girls physically can be light skin with light hair to dark morenas ... and everything in between ... their bodies just like the Venezuelans' ...

I was planning to caracas and Buenos Aires in November.

Other countries posts have said to avoid Caracas due to safety.

I like to go out to the bars/clubs as well as just the pros.

Can you give me an idea of just how safe the city is?
Obviously I will not go to the bad areas.
I just don't want to have to be in a hotel to club and back situation.

Any suggestions for a third city in SA destination?

I have done Rio. The Caracas and BA girls seem my type.
I am not too keen on the Columbian ones.
Sao Paulo maybe?
Any ideas?

TO Experience Mongers

I am doing my due dilligence on Caracas before I go and I really need your help and advise on this topic. I alway carefully research a place before I decided if I would like to visit

I have had the privilege to read some fairly enlightning points on Caracas mongering from various highly imformed sources on this forum.

However one topic that hasn't been covered is the local modelling agencies. My travelling experiences to Italy, Paraguay, Chile, Cuba as well as here in NYC tell me that some of the best untapped talent lies within these "modelling or talent" agencies. I have contacted some local photographers/pimp(as they are in NY) as well as some of these agencies to set up some possible dates today and we'll see what develops.

I understand that these are legitimate modelling agencies, blah blah blah as some people keep telling me but my experience in other countries tell me that at least an 1/8 to possibly 1/4 of these model/promotional models(depending on which site you look at) are or will get down with the program if your game and/or pockets are deep enough...the hardest part is just getting in the door and setting up initial dates

Has any of you caracas fellow mongers: ect. Explored this route?Please share your experiences. My intention is to go no later than OCT. once I have made the proper contacts. I hope to see some of you down there and hopefully explore this together

Puerto Ordaz and the adjoining city of San Felix comprise what is now officially called Ciudad Guyana, though no one call it that, and most Venezuelans still say Puerto Ordaz.

It's basically a mining city with some foreign companies also around town. I heard it's one of the most expensive cities in Venezuela.

Aeropostal might have flights down there (try www.aeropostal.com) , but that airline is mostly used for international travel. There will be at least several others who will fly down there (these will be airlines mostly used for travel within the country). go to a travel agency.

Here's a tip, the prices will be dollarized but under the official exchange rate. Therefore if you get a decent black market rate, which isn't as good as it used to be, you will save yourself more money by paying in cash in bolivares.

If you're making last minute reservations your price will also be higher. I would expect a ticket from Caracas to there and back to cost you anywhere from 150K to 250K bolivares.

Hi all,

I am thinking about going back to Caracas next week for a few days. I met this girl on line who lives about 45 minutes away by plane "Porto Ordaz". I will arrive at 9pm again and will go straight to the Cumberland Caracas hotel. I will try to arrange Pantera again for a few hours, then will go back to airport to catch the next flight to her area. Does anyone know if the national airlines has a website for incountry travel? I will stay with this girl (woman) tuesday to thursday and head back to Caracas for the night. Anyone recomend someone else from Sexy Caracas? Well I hope that I do not have problems at the airport again.

Do you know of any mid-price extended-stay hotels in Caracas? I could have to be there for one month and the location does not really matter (Sabana Grande, El Rosal, Las Mercedes ...) as long as it is reasonably safe. Thanks.
