Hugo does not care about tourists. Therefore it is very unsafe. The Chicas and most people were friendly enough. I just never felt safe. They also hit my credit cards for US$5000. I only used it 6 times, mostly at the hotels. I never used an ATM machine. My two buddies cards were hit also.

Dayana Mendoza (ex-Miss Universe from Venezuela) is on the new Celebrity Aprentice. Love her. Very pretty eyes. How would she compare to the typical girls you would find in Caracas?

There are streetwalkers but I would strongly advice you not to go for these. Unsafe, ugly and rubbing elbows with really horrible "ladyboys".

I spent 2 nights in Carcas in Apr 2005 and would never return unless I was being paid very well. I stayed at Hotel las Mercedes for about $70 a night. It was part of a large mall and very nice. Every 5 minutes an ambulance would drive by my room. Be very careful walking around even during the day and do not stop and look around. I took a taxi to the Interconinental hotel, just across the street. The bartender says chicas show up there around sundown. It is very nice hotel and one of the few places that I didn't feel like I was going to be robbed. I called sexycaracas for hours until I finally got a chica for $65US. She was okay nothing as good as what I saw coming out of the elevators. There are some primo chicas there but I think you need some help getting them. I was alone and had no help. Several times I narrowly escaped robbery and I won't return. I looked over my shoulder the whole time I was there and the risk is just not worth it.

I tried Cuerpo, Mente why Alma my last night in town. It is located on the 2nd floor tower A Sambil East torre Liberador, right across from the Hard Rock Cafe. The door isn't marked, very low profile, call first so they know you are coming. The receptionist spoke English and was very nice. The elevators are under repair, so it's a bit confusing getting to the 2nd floor. The rooms are nice and clean, with a massage table in the middle, no shower facilities, so shower before you go. There were about 8 girls when I went, about 5:30 PM. They did a line up and intro, which was very nice. The quality was very good. I picked 2- 20 year olds, Sandra, short and petite, and Lucia, tall and slim. Both were pretty and fun. Started with a massage which allowed us to chat a bit, but my Spanish is not too strong.
