I just came across this place, erotic-vacations.com. It presents as an all-inclusive resort with different women every day for a week, all one price. Has anyone had any experience with them? Thanks!

Thanks for the advice tasty, I found Margarita to be a way overpriced place for pussy. First of all their are "fuck clubs" but they start at around 150,000 bolivares which isnt too bad really it depends on the club. Their were about 5 clubs in which i personally went to, some of the girls where hot and some not and of course the hotter ones wanted more cash money.

It seems the concept of banging strippers at these clubs is new as when i chose a girl to bang, the bouncer had to run to a pharmacy to get some condoms, I forget the naem fo the place but it was one fo the more higher end clubs, I paid 180,000 plus a 50,000 tip to the girl who at first only offered a handy I guess you have to negogiate.

Overall my advice for fellow mongers is to book in advance to stay in the good areas such as agua beach, as I went without a hotel and was forced to get a crappy 5 star hotel out in the middle of nowhere, which forced me to rent out a taxi for 100,000 from 7pm to 1am which was alright as i met cool guy who went to the titty bars with me. The titty bars open late qround 10 pm with 1 or 2 dancers but as the nite goes more chics show up. All in all it was a good trip for a young guy to get to know la isla but its no buenos aires or even caracas. I will post a review on caracas in the caracas board, I hope i helped some guys out as I was surely lacking info when i went, drop me a message if i can help you guys out any.

Isla M is a rather small place and don't expect fuck clubs. However on island there are many disco type places where girls are hanging out and available. Not all are p4p. 10PM is not a good time to catch a flight because on Isla it may be too late to get to your hotel. Spend overnight in Caracas, get refreshed and order room service of a chica to clean your pipes.

I will be arriving in Caracas on the 23rd of June at rounf 10pm. My main question is are there any flights that leave to la isla at this time? and should i look online even though its kind of too late?

My other main question :-) how much is the going rate for hotties 8-10's going for hourly and also for a night? i have read the last 5 pages in this forum and nada, just confusion.

With all respect, but were many Dutch are there is a great possibility of the presence of drugs. (mainly marijuana and/or XTC) Sometimes i am asshamed to be Dutch. Everywere we go civil servants, police men and especialy border guards will treat us with the most availeble "care". JUST because we're DUTCH and they think we are smuggling Drugs. In 2003 on Brussels airport (when returning from Colombia) I was harrassed 3(!!) times for a full search by Belgian border customs:-( The guy thought it was "strange"me being Dutch, traveling to Colombia via an belgian airport. When i told him that Brussels airport was much closer to my hometown (I live in the south of my country) then Amsterdam was,and the fact that the tickets also were a lot cheaper the guy didn't had much to say;-) Of course ALL my souvenirs were carefully checked, just in case.

And this was NOT the only time I got harrased because I was Dutch. Total Bullshit offcourse. I also know many other people from other countries do drug trafficing. But Dutch, and also Colombians have a BAD rep on this matter. That is WHY Colombians have such a HAD time getting a visa for the Netherlands, which (IMHO) almost is impossible. Last year I had to wait 8 MONTHS (and paid a lot of money on laywers)just for a damn turist visa (30 days valid) for my Colombian ex-amiga!

It is well known to venezuelan authorities that (together with Caracas) Isla Margarita is a main drugs shipping/trafficing area.

I can tell you that right now more then 150 Dutch persons are in prison in Venezuela JUST for DRUGS.

The thing is (and i am NOT a racist nore do I want to sound like one) that most DUTCH people who traffic drugs are born and raised on the Dutch Antilles or Suriname.;-) Just think that the Dutch Antilles are about 100 km out of the coast from Venezuela.

In South-America I will stay FAR AWAY from people who offer me drugs or other illegal things. In Colombia that happened several times. Just walk away and do NOT get into their offers. If you DO, you can get yourself in a world of DEEP SHIT.

I booked my trip...I fly 26 sept...have to get back on the 12th October.
I fly in with martinair from Amsterdam...we have a stop over in Tobago.
Flight will be about 9 hours..which is pretty short if you are coming from Europe:-)
I am thinking of also going a day or 5-6 to caracas or Maracaibo. Maybe also nearby Cumana is worth a trip?

I agree with you guys that isla margarita is your average "cheap" mass turist destination. In such places you can find also many hookers. (that's the good part)The bad part is that the prices will go up...and that crime also will raise.
Some dutch guys told me they never went for an ATM...and took only CASH euros with them!!!!!!!!! (talking about stupid!)

On a dutch forum (http://www.islamargarita-forum.nl) some people told only good things about Isla M.....however I almost didn't see ANY postings on prostitution. Most people who go there (with all respect) are mommy,daddy and the kids.....
Also the fact that the siland is swarming with all-in resorts doesn't make the average MONGER happy. Because in these joints you almost never can bring in GIRLS:-( Usualy I get suspecious when people ONLY tell good stories about a place. No place is perfect...and certainly Isla M.

Also the arguing about the fact that Isla M was sooooo much cheaper then the mainland i doubt. Only the gas is realy cheap there. (about 12 euros cents a liter!!)
IF you compare prices on isla M with DR,Brasil or Panama I do NOT think Isla M is THAT cheap.
Last but not least the hookers......I am convinced if you speak spanish and look half way decent you can get laid for half the price you pay in ISLA M on the mainland...and maybe in some areas even CHEAPER!!

Even the fly away tax on the airport seems to be 40 euros....!!! which is not realy cheap imho.

I just hate those bloody package tours (being a single male)...but that is the only way the get there...unless you want to buy a more expensive ticket (fe with Iberia) to caracas...and then fly to isla M with an inland flight.

Thailand indeed is much cheaper then venezuela....for sure. But one thing thailand doesn't have........LATINAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most of those women are so much fun......their dancing and great sex (most of the times) is just unbeatable. Other fact is that I speak decent spanish and can communicate with a latina. Try THAT in thailand.....unless of course IF your lady speaks english (which seems to be quite rare outside turist areas) OR YOU speak Thai. Which I don't.
Also the famous ass of the latina woman is kind of a candy for me....nice juicy big round ass.....:-) Thai women are in general very small....skinny and have no ass at al.(imho)

Escapeartise.com is a site mostly operated by people who want to interest you in getting involved in and or purchasing real estate overseas.

So I take anything written there with a block of salt. Especially these days, when frankly there are very FEW "secrets" out there.

I'll take that as a compliment that I'm being brutally honest.

I think in retrospect, part of my problem was that I received most of my information about this island from a series of very positive articles posted on the website escapeartist.com. This site isn't a monger site (although that topic is addressed there) but rather kind of a "how to" guide on "escaping" from america and restarting you life abroad. (Many senior members of this board have chosen to do the same thing)

The articles gave me the impression that Isla Margarita was a fantasy destination and perhaps one of the true, affordable paradises left on the earth!

I've since come to the realization that the articles were largely written by a bunch of "broken-down" cheap gringos who were so drawn in by the inexpensive prices of things like real estate, beer, gas etc that it obscured their objectivity.

I would sooner donate a kidney than retire on this arid rock!
