Food is not really a problem if you have money. I always get what I want on Isla Margarita hotels and restaurants, pizza, pasta, hamburger, t-bone steak, italian cheese (but not french cheese), wine, beer, tea, cafe. Only one shortage: pepper! I have salt but not pepper in restaurant.

The Isla Margarita's beaches are very clean with white sand, similar to Fortaleza beaches or Phuket beaches. I spend alot of day time on Playa el Agua and Playa Parguito. They are family oriented beaches. At Playa el Agua, all the bars with hookers and the discos have recently been destroyed on behalf of environment and safety.
One Mojito on Playa el Agua cost 450 bolivars, and a grilled lobster cost only 4000 bolivars!

The food shortage problem concerns only the poor people who buy food in State owned stores at subsidized prices.
But be safe, bring with you condoms (not good quality here) and a roll of toilet paper (in case you use public toilet).

I visited four strip clubs in Porlamar. They are located around de 4 de Mayo Avenue in center of Porlamar.

Harem club is the most expensive with more than 15 chicas. The chicas are very good looking, like model.
For you guys who known Medellin, the chicas at Harem have the look level of Medellin's La Isla club. But many are cold and behave very professional, not caliente at all.

Today on a bus in Medellin I sat beside a Venezuelan guy who is living in Medellin. He is from the island and last visited there in December 2014, he said it was safe to visit and lots of chicas very cheap. He said he met lots of french Canadian holidayers there. I would check to confirm this with Quebec travel agency. He seemed like a legit guy in the 15 minutes we talked.

Very True, During the winter Months there are charter flights arriving five days a week from both Quebec City and Montreal. They usually shuttle them to the all inclusive hotels. (Most never venture outside the hotel but, that is a separate topic for another time) It is a total rip off as they are not taking advantage of the exchange rate and are paying full price but, the fact that there are so many French Canadians vacationing In Margarita Island and, there are charter flights with Packages being sold indicates that the island is by in large safe.

In my experience with www.sexyorientales.com and www.sexycaracas.com, the girls that come in my hotel room are the same girls who appear on the web site pictures.

But all the pictures are photoshoped. In real life, expect to see the girls with a few more kilos in weight and with face and body less sexy than the pictures. Most of time I found them shorter than the body that show on pictures.

The first week, I stayed at the posada Vila del Sol at Playa el Agua (http://villadelsol.org/wordpress/?pa...20&language=en).

It's good place for a newbie to start mongering in Isla Margarita. The owner, Robert, is French canadian and he known very well Isla Margarita and he will help you.

Room at Vila del Sol cost from 5000 to 7000 bolivars. And off course the posada is chica friendly.

For safety, I recommanded you take the chicas that Robert introduce to you or call the chicas working at agency (I did use the Silver Lips agency: http://www.sexyorientales.com/site/p...ds=3&/Agencias) but never take a chica from the club or the street in your hotel (It could happen that the chica check the hotel security system and then call her boyfriend to visit you the next day).

The chicas I call from Lips agency cost 5500 bolivars / hour (plus 3000 bolivars for extra anal sex) but they blow with condom. The chicas that Robert introduce cost 8000 bolivars / hour but they give bareback blow job. All the chicas come from Polamar and you have to add extra for their taxi (usually 3000 bolivars).

So, you fuck in your hotel room a chica for 5500 up 8000 bolivars, 6 to 9 euros thank to black market exchange rate! Where else in this world you can screw a asshole for this price? You can enjoy the beautiful beach of Playa el Agua and at the same time fuck so many chicas at the cheapest price on the world.

The second week, I stay at Venetur Hotel in Polamar city (http://www.venetur.gob.ve/index.php/...margarita.html). This hotel is the former Hilton which has been nationalized by Chavez's gouvernment. Here I paid 9000 bolivars by night. Only 11 euros for a room with Hilton confort!

The Venetur is good place to stay to visit at night time the strip clubs in Polamar. In day time you can enjoy the big hotel's swimming pool and do shopping at the mail La Vega just in front of the hotel.

For safety, always ask the hotel to call a taxi for you, never use a taxi in the street (there are many "fake taxi" in the street of Polamar, if you take them you will finish somewhere without your clothes, shoes and money). Hotel taxi cost 800 to 1000 bolivars to go to Quadro de Mayo Avenue where the strip clubs are.

There is a problem with Venetur Hotel: if the hotel is chica friendly, the chicas have to register at the reception before coming in your room. There are a few agency's chicas who do not want to register and they give you appointment at the love hotel Brismar not to far. A room at love hotel Brismar cost 500 bolivars for 3 hours.

If you have a international driving permit, it's better to rent a car than use a taxi. There are many rent car agency in Polamar (Avis, Herz, Budget, etc.). With you own rent car, you can visit the island, move easyly anywhere in day time. But again, for safety reason, at night night only move by hotel taxi on your way to the club, and on your way back to your hotel ask the club to call a taxi for you (every club have a few taxi drivers working for them).

Fisrt at all, thank to Britisher who gave the necessary informations to start my holidays in Venezuela.

In Venezuela, always remember the black market exchange rate: dolartoday.com (the internet site is blocked in Venezuela but the android / iphone app is working).

In this moment, 1 euro is 900 bolivars at buying black market rate; at selling rate, you can get 700 bolivars vs 1 euro in private hotel or shop, 750 bolivars with some taxi drivers or hotel receptionnist, and 800 bolivars with local friend or his family.

When you arrive at Caracas airport or Polamar airport on Isla Margarita, you have no choice but to exchange at the Simadi rate, this is the official rate for foreign tourists. With Simadi rate, you get 200 bolivars vs 1 euro. I recommanded you to exchange only 20 euros at Simadi rate to have some bolivars to paid your taxi or a few beers waiting your connecting flight.

When you are in Polamar city, it more easy to exchange your euros vs bolivars at black market rate. Just ask the taxi driver, the hotel receptionnist or anyone, all the local known someone who agree to buy your euros.

I spend two weeks holidays in Venezuela (Caracas, Isla Margarita and Puerto la Cruz). I can confirm that I paid between 3 and 5 euros (and up to 8 euros with anal and CIM) to fuck chicas, thank to black exchange market rate.

I just get back to Europe today, give me time to write a full report.
