Planning a first trip to DR in a month or so and have been reading heavily here. Just found this site last week from the sister site.

Curious how legit Dominican Cupid is. I made a generic account just to probe around and check things out. Not too many hits, but didn't have a picture at first. I uploaded a (fake pic) yesterday and have been inundated with messages. Of course, you have to pay to see the messages and it's got me wondering if these are mostly bots just sending fake messages to get you to buy a membership. Not like that's not done on a lot of the other dating sites. I did have one message from a "gold" member that I could read as a non-paying member. But pretty sure we're not looking for the same thing!

I figure I'll make a real account and pay for a week or so once my trip gets closer so I can collect some numbers and have some options on hand if needed. My assumption is that most of the chicas that are in their early 20's and say they're looking for much older men are looking for "work". Just trying to gauge how many are real.

Dominican Cupid is legit, and when I was a member many years ago, none of the chicas were fake. However, there were not many chicas. I usually searched for girls between 18 and 27, and never got a lot of hits. Caribe tours has express service to Sosua ever half hour from santo domingo. Trip is just under 4 hours was 5. 5. The bus was not crowded and seats were very comfortable. Sosua is one of the easiest places in the world to monger. The girls are looking for you and there* are over 100 running around. I would avoid girls who are too agrressive and always agree on a price before you take them to your room. If you make eye contact expect to be approached. Overall there is very little to know. Bailes restaurant is a good place to eat and see tghe girls. You will meet other guys who can tell where to go.

All three are chica friendly. In my opinion Casa Valeria is best, then New Garden then Europa. Only one chica allowed in the room at one time at Casa Valeria which is not a bad thing, bringing more than one girl at a time to your room is a recipe for disaster anyway, unless you know them real well.

Hey Sammy, first we have to get your mindset up to date Sir. You are still thinking it's 2009 if you expect 25 usd hotels, and you probably still think it's 20 usd pussy. I think Rockys has been closed awhile now, and honestly it was a dump. Only thing still the same in Sosua is the beach. New Garden, Casa Valeria and Europa will serve your accommodations at prices from 38 usd to 70 usd. No more girls getting 20 usd for a weekend stay, now it's 100-200 an hour or two. Even the Haitian girls are asking top dollars, the game has changed bro.

At 11 pm arriving in Santiago I would recommend staying that night at Matum hotel and catching the bus to Sosua in the morning. You seem budget conscious so what you would pay a cab 80-100 usd for a night trip to Sosua, you could pay a nice hotel in Santiago with breakfast and still have money for the bus ride.

In 2009 Sousa was reaching its peak and it was paradise, don't expect that Sosua.

I used dominican Cupid back in the day and had great results still see my 1st after 10 years. However if you are coming the for the girls go to Sosua and make your life easier. You will not need any help. However Santo Domingo is not user friendly . You will need Spanish and transportation. also forget the 20 dollar ch=it . not happening

Most are like 4 star hotels. King size beds grand bathrooms and they roomier then most Hotels. Having your luggage should not be an issue. I think it is a very good option.

One of the best Cabana I was in was in Puerto Plata on the main road going to Santiago. I met this this really pretty girl in Puerto Plata club. Wanted to take her to my hotel in Sosua. But she did not have a cedula. She suggested this Cabana. Forget how much it was but cheap. There is a gate and the girl talked to the reception on the box. They told her the number of the room. When we drove down the garage was open. We got in and closed the garage. All transactions were by a turnstile through the wall. We ordered food and drinks. We had a great time all night. Very sweet girl.

Another Cabana I stayed was in Santiago. There are many on the Airport road. That time I flew in to Santiago at a ungodly hour. I had reserved a car but the rental said they did not have any car left and they would provide me a room and bring the car in the morning. While I was waiting outside for the guy to give me a ride to the hotel I thought there was a nice looking girl by herself waiting for someone. I started talking to her and she was willing to stay with me. She later said she was waiting for some guy who would arrive on another flight. This just made me think of a funny ass story from last week that I was supposed to post on the Colombia thread. Me and another board member were out in Bogota doing some casa hunting. He was following the map with all the spots on it. So we come to this one place where the map says the chicks are expensive. We walk up close, but the security guard tells us we want the place across the street. We go over there and walk into a garage area where that security guard tells us to take the stairs up.

We go up one floor and there is a lady at the desk. She tells us to follow this lady dressed as the maid. So we get into the elevator with her and she takes us up a couple of floors. Sam you better make sure off the bat if you pull up into a cabana that they know you and your boy want separate rooms unless you have chicks with you!

Every Cabana I have stayed in has been excellent. Some have jacuzzis and piped in music is the norm. Many have furniture for special positions. I have stayed cabanas in SD Santiago,San fran and Sosua all have decent. Google DR cabsnas. Leave it to Mr E to find a one low end place and make the norm. Most are so nice girls are pumped to go. Did my 1st 3 some in SD in cabana was awesome experience. Some i have seen are multi level. I see no need for Windows when fucking. 4 hours 500 to 800 pesos

Yeah, I remember paying like 1500 to 2000 DOP back then. One time Nelson (my dominican driver friend) took me to a working girl house in POP and I paid the man running the place $100 USD and took a spinner light skinned broad home for the while night. Don't know how much she got put of it. I thought I overpaid LOL! I was going to initially go to Cuba where I bang university chicas for $30 to $40 and they're not hardcore mostly.
