Does anyone know for certain if one has a fast path to Dominican citizenship by fathering (and claiming) a child born in DR to a Dominican-born mother? I want a second passport!

I know of no country that gives citizenship to the father of a child under the circumstances that you refer, none. Residency, yes. And from there you can get citizenship but it certainly takes time, five years minimum. I am working on Colombian citizenship,8 years and I'm still not there.

I just checked my Dominican Cupid account. Those assholes have been charging me for eight months. I know I personally hit the non-renewal button. If you want to cancel your Service go in and change your credit card number in their settings. Or go to PayPal and you can block them

I checked my Settings, but I do not see any place that my credit card is listed. Fortunately, I have not yet been charged for auto-renewal. Like some of you have reported. I have used Latin American Cupid on and off for a few years, but I have never been hit with an unauthorized renewal.

If you feel any merchant you are dealing with online will try to fuck you, ALWAYS use PayPal. PayPal takes the side of the customer FIRST, meaning they will freeze payment to the vendor until the grievance is fully resolved. In most cases PayPal will just refund you the money and go after the vendor for the difference to save you from having to wait to get your money back.

When dealing with dating sites like Dominican Cupid, POF, etc. , as soon as I purchase the membership via PayPal I immediately go to my settings in my PayPal account and cancel the membership, which cancels out the recurring transactions that most dating sites set you up on by default. You will still be able to use the membership for the length of time you purchased (i.e. 1 month, 3 months, 1 year, etc.), but once the membership ends you will not be charged by the vendor and will need to purchase a new membership.

I have paid 1500 to 4000 and as the saying goes your mileage will vary. Average is probably 2.5. Some are wham bams and others hang around for days. Then last night I was thinking I have been on this shit a long time. Usually they send an email saying it is about to expire. I went on and looked and that autorenew was mysteriously on and lo and behold it charged me for another 3 months yesterday. I wrote and told them I did not want it and they basically said fuck you. If I wanted to be a dick like they are I would just call American Express and cancel the transaction.

I think they also upped their rate within the past year? I signed up one month at a time before and it was $24.99 now it's $34.99? That's too dang much money. I'm loving Tagged because it's free. Also not as confusing to use as Badoo. I'll find out how the true results compare to Cupid next week.

Excellent approach and observations, SS. If you go to DR once or twice a year you will have a regular roster of girls but can always add and subtract based on performance and availability. I assume you are using whattssapp with the girls. Cheers.

Another trip in which I have depended on Dominican cupid. For me this method works really well. Some of these girls are using the venue to find " short term relations" and others are truly looking for a spouse. In other areas you can have some success but the smaller towns are going to have much smaller choice and should not be your only option. I have always tried to schedule to meet with 4 girls a day. 12,3, 5 &8. I try to screen them to the pointe of asking some if they want to spend the night with me. The 7 pm one is picked based on their answer. 2 hours is almost ok. Most of the girls are on Dominican time. One was actually early and one you could have set your clock on. The rest were 15 minutes or 2 hours late. Interesting when the 2 hours late is back to back with the early girl. Just be ready to handle it. No shows are about 50% for me. I am sure if you are more aggressive by calling them you can get this up 75% easily. It amazes me how one girl can look so different in the fotos and then look completely different in person.

When they show up expect the unexpected. I have had some simply go into the room bathroom and come out butt naked and some who refused to do anything more than light petting on their first date.
