Hoping it isn't the case but according to the black beards forum John's health is on the decline and the resort is for sale but not sold. There is a listing for the estate and it says sale pending but only time will tell.

There is a day shift and evening shift. Eveything is negotiable if you are willing to pay. I stayed there twice and was not impressed. The girls are decent but not spectaculer. The attractive ones are booked up most of the time so you have to get in line for sloopy thirds. Once I enjoyed the treats of Sosua I gave my training wheels up and hung with the big boys. It may reopen in August but it will be at best a second choice.

I cannot answer that question. I have been there for a grand total of 2-3 hours during the day, a long time back. Not my thing.

I am sure there would be others here who would chime in, to respond to you. Having said that, until 7 PM is a fairly long stretch for a day, starting in the morning, unless cooping up for the night is your thing.

The names that you saw listed, including Pto Pta are referring to district / county / provincia (whatever makes sense to you) and not to the town. Costambar and Sosua, both belong to Pto Pta provincia and hence are included.
