Thanks for the info! On Badoo, I see lot's of very attractive photos, even some into their 50's. I see a few Dominican and Haitians in the DR that stay in good shape, but not as many as I see on the Venezuelan sites. I am going to have to do some sampling in the craziness ever ends. Come on vaccine!

The names that you saw listed, including Pto Pta are referring to district / county / provincia (whatever makes sense to you) and not to the town. Costambar and Sosua, both belong to Pto Pta provincia and hence are included.

Does the curfew apply only to the Puerto Plata city?

    What about Costambar?

People are allowed to and from airports during curfew hours, if you can read spanish it specifically addresses this in the decree signed by the President, page 2 article 8.

The curfew restricts to emergency travel only, and the cops have lots of leeway!

Traveling to shelter in place, would be considered an emergency, I believe!

Now it should be noted that chicas are on a DOP economy. But most individuals visiting /(non Dominicans living here) are not. They are on the economy of the currency they earn their money in. That is why I advise everyone know your prices in DOP. That is know how much something should cost in DOP (non gringo markup), but think in the currency your are paying for your own economic situation. That is your real cost!

A chart is attached. I like to keep in mind the value of a 500 DOP note in my own currency. I make a note of that amount and just work in multiples of that number.

Boots on the ground observations from the Cmdr.

Remember when I said chicas are on a DOP economy? The food inflation that was occurring in the middle of the SOE is now starting to subside. My bag of limons are down to 255 a bag. Still more than pre SOE but some relief. On the street eggs were 150-145 DOP /30 count. They are back down to 100-95 DOP /30 count. Just keep that in mind when making financial transactions or negotiations. Everything that come onto this island is paid for in USD. That is basic international commerce. So, the cost of imported goods have gone through the roof.

Getting back to high prices for pussy. If you are not paying high prices. Chances are your girl is using it for basic stuff. Or if she has a regular job then she is most likely supplementing her income. There is a lot of sharing going on right now. Those who have are sharing with those that do not. But that is only at the lower SES level. Starbucks in Downtown Center was rocking. Hotties for days. The rich side. They got the money to look good.

I keep things in perspective and I keep them real. And I look forward to reading "Boots on the ground" reports from others very soon. Hey big titty lover, I hear things are opening up on July 1st. LOL!
LOL. Love the xls! I feel a DR trip coming on if I can't get to Asia / Colombia anytime soon.

Cheap Airfares from UK to DR

Air France have a sale on flights from five UK airports via Paris to Punta Cana in Nov and early Dec.

Prices are around 400 pounds round trip, (checked bag extra). Sale will only last for two or three days.

Easiest way is to check dates for sale price using Google Flights date grid, then go here to book.

    https://*******.com/yc7ekdth

Check to be sure but I think Air France currently offer free re-booking to later dates if needed.

58.10 DOP cash. Dollar may have peaked. Get here why your dollar still goes a long way. Prices in pesos are up just a bit in the formal market. I have no problem talking about money. I am just not like those who have been posting here for 15 years that ask other grown men about why they pay what they pay. And then get mad when I call them out on it and put two middle fingers up. How many days you need to visit each year to equal the amount of time I have spent in Republica Dominican over the last five years sharing quality information on having sex with chicas here?

Trip report anyone. Mr. T up in Sosua is doing it right. Take notes!

More DR news from my brother:

Airport immigracion was pretty relax. They didn't make you finger print or take your photo.

They scan the passport and try to stay away from you.

Rental car places and hotels make you fill out a rona disclosure form.

Pretty much like normal here except for the tourist amenities.

    Some Nerve

As a ex pimp you would know raggedy hoes so I demur to your expertise. On other hand I no longer use hotels in the DR. Arbnbs offer more conforts at lower prices. The Uber systen in SD is very efficient and cheap. So you can book anywhere in the city and have no problenm getting aroound. The hotels are going have a lot BS precautions when they open while Airbnbs will give you a key and walk.

On another note, my brother has reached Santo Domingo. He said:

"Only hotel open on the malecon is jaragua. The other ones lights off and barricaded their parking lots. Lot of locals out on the strips, no tourists in sight around this place."
