Costs: BRL / USD exchange rate history and expectations forward plays a major role. Generally, Brazil will cost you double than Dom Rep, and Colombia 50% more than Dom Rep. Flights are longer to Brazil and you have to pay IVA / VAT on hotel stays, while in Colombia VAT is reimbursed and in Dom Rep sometimes absorbed into the price or discounted for cash payment. You can find flights on ITA Matrix and sometimes split fares with 2 airlines and search for better connection. There is a tendency to spend more in Brazil because of opportunity to spend. Girls: from 50 cents a minute to ten times more. Looks are subjective. Performance in Brazil is a golden standard. It takes more effort and expense to become an expat in Brazil than in Dom Rep. Once you buy Dom Rep you get a buyers remorse. How many would admit they made a mistake?

Yes. Your friend is delirious. Get him emergency help ASAP. Maybe it was from the covid vaccine. It has ruined his eyesight and other senses. I will even mention that Brazilians are smarter than Colombians and Colombians are smarter than Dominicans. So by superior, what exactly are you saying? Allow me to use my girl and some random chicks from the Samba school as examples.

    The cost of Rio

    Time is money

It seems like landing in santo domingo and wanting to go north there are 2 options:

Taxi to the bus, then bus to the north. This means getting on a bus at 7 or 730 and getting to sosua around midnight. But it only costs about 25-30 dollars total.

Option be: private ride direct from airport. I land at 430. Get to sosua by 8 ish. Costs 170-200 dollars.

Is the hassle of taxi to bus then bus for 4+ hours worth saving 150 dollars or so? Or is the fast ride, convenience, less covid risk in a car vs a bus, and 4 hours of saved time wirth spending 150 dollars.

I am leaning toward yes--but wish there was a compromise option in between. LOL.

    Some advice please

I always got to Colombia. In 2015 or 2016 I spent 3 days at Blackbeards. I had to cut it all short because of a hurricane coming.

I may be able to get a last minute flight to Santo Domingo next Friday for 1 week.

I am thinking: blackbeards for Friday and Saturday night--just because I know nothing else about the the. Are.

I'd like to get straight up to Sosua or Puerto Plata or Santiago immediately from Santo Domingo Airport.

What's the best way to do that? Is there a bus from the airport to the north?

Are their drivers anyone can suggest for a reasonable price--I don't mind paying for a comfortable ride.

Best ways to find girls in D. R? Blackbeards. Okay that's easy. Sosua. Just walking around. What do I look for in a place to stay there?

Santiago: facebook? How do I find those chicks with zero contacts to start? Tinder?

I am an experienced one of us--just new to the. Are.

Last time, I flew with a friend who had a friend drive us to blackbeards we had 3 nights then straight to the airport to get out--so I didn't learn anything of the scene.

I am reading all the forums here, obviously. But really unsure of the best move for a week in the the. Are.

Any help links to reports of distinction or advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your time.

As a guy that really doesn't use Facebook at all, I'm wondering how you go about doing that? Do you change your location somehow? Are you using Facebook dating? Any advice would be helpful. A buddy and I are talking about heading out there in November.

    Thanks.
You can change your location, find groups, join dating apps, etc. From my experience, using dating apps, getting their facebook, and going through a rabbit hole helped me line a few potential dates up.

The US is big on checking for drugs coming into the country, but not so much going out. This is why we're leaving the country you will see TSA agents handling the process of security. Customs is not really hands-on for leaving the country.

If you are just looking for weed, I suggest you just get it when you arrive in the DR. And you might have to pay an out-of-town tax, but at least you didn't have to carry it in your luggage. If you were looking for edibles and other exotic treats, I suggest you bring your own at your own risk. The DR is not up on stuff like edibles. There's not a market for that like in the US.

Like Gogo said I would never attempt to bring anything into the US. I got caught up in having the over the counter medication (the US required a prescription) and was on the hit list with US customs for almost 3 years.

There was a time when they searched me Every time I came in from an international flight. You would think I had illegal drugs. It took me talking to a custom agent supervisor for them to stop antagonizing me.

You can get weed in the Sosua. Find a girl that you can trust and pay her extra for the trip. They call it creepy.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Theres plenty of cannabis to be had in Sosua -and pretty good quality too. The girls love it.

I am thinking of moving back to NYC so the DR would be back on my list.

So from what I get NO thorough searches going INTO say POP airport (like drug dogs?) but definitely going back to USA for sure. That is a given. They have TV shows dedicated to this subject.

If you do find flower how much is it going for and can you find a pipe to purchase etc?

I was last in DR in maybe 2017. I used to have a prescription for Marinol which is how I traveled in the past but my insurance stopped paying for it like most good things that make people feel better.

Edibles come in all sorts of shapes and sizes so can easily be camouflaged amongst other items by sight but not by *smell if a dog is trained. Dogs don't smell THC by the way they are trained to identify specific terpenes which are in higher levels in MJ plants BUT edibles go through a distillation process which includes high temperatures which can alter the chemicals and smell. At least this is the ongoing theory. Then there is product variations. Dogs would need to be trained to smell them.

It's a crime that weed isn't abundant in the DR. Would love to get wrecked on Sewer Beach with a chica hands on my stick shift.

Yeah DR is a major cocaine hub. Free the weed!

Yeah. That is because you have not been looking. Customs is responible for searching for illegal drugs and agriculture coming into the USA, not TSA. The DR is a major hub for drugs coming into the USA. Here is a picture of a drug mule that got busted coming from Santo Domingo to New York.

"Located just eighty miles from Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic remains a primary destination of cocaine transiting the Caribbean and serves as a key transit country of USA -bound cocaine from South America. ".
