Can't believe I didn't add something to the forum about this place earlier. Well here it is. I went November last year and I can tell you this place in general is a no-go. People here arent very nice because everybody hates it here (that includes the expats). Didn't talk to anybody who isn't here because they want to be, its always family obligation or somesuch. Everything is way more expensive, the power keeps going out, and the food is some of the worst I've had in the whole world (and that includes my moms cooking). Also, you'll need a car.

As for the talent, its all in the usa. Mostly Florida and New York.

Clubs are difficult and frustrating. The environment is your worst enemy. Music is deafening, you can't hear yourself think, let alone try to communicate (its dangerously loud, bring earplugs). The setup is chaotic too, can't really get anybody's attention, not a chance. Couldn't be designed more poorly. Rigid steel chairs, and the most idiotic system I've ever encountered. You sit in an upright rigid steel folding chair. A girl comes over and stays only long enough for you to toss a dollar at her (like a seagull). At which the most connection you will be able to get is that she does a power dive with her ass into you lap, and shoulder charges your chin into your upper teeth. And before you can even say Hello, she's gone unless you toss another dollar. You don't even have time to come to your senses. God help you if another girl joins in. The only thing this "combo" accomplishes is to piss customers away. I had a headache after 4 dollars and barely a song. Those were the only 2 attractive girls in that shithead club. I tried another club, but it was more of the same, except only dogshit ugly girls this time. Pass..

If the talent is mainly from FL and NY, then I'm guessing you are going to get mainland provider attitudes too, which are horrible. I was thinking about heading here, good thing I didn't.

I think part of the problem is the depressed economy. Contrary to conventional ideas, a depressed economy shuts the hobby down because the talent is unmotivated. The more you think about it, it makes more sense. The govt already takes care of their basics better than any job ever could, nowadays obesity is a pandemic of the parasite class. So why bother showing up and paying to work at a club if you arent going to get rich doing it? This is universal. I feel like this is why the golden years for the hobby was about '96-'06, no matter where you were at the time. Scratch that. Golden years yes, but not just for the hobby.

I was planning on moving to Puerto Rico for work. I come from a monger friendly area where I can pop once in the morning and once at night and girls offer BBFS occasionally. You have some lofty goals and I wish you luck. Obtaining a visa is quite difficult, time consuming and, the cost is much more than $200 with everything that goes into obtaining one. In addition, unless you know and fully trust a girl are you going to give them money and truly believe they will use it to get a visa and buy a ticket. There are so many hoops to jump through in getting a girl and having her spend a month with you in Puerto Rico. Honestly too many to list. However, in my opinion the only chance you may have is finding someone from the Dom Republic who already has a visa and bring her over on the ferry. The hurricane has damaged many businesses including the jobs of independent girls who work on the street, which has encouraged the use of other spaces that are usually precarious and don't keep in mind hygienic and safety conditions.
