No way. Any hotel in the DR is 35 dollars a night .And you won`t be in Sosua.

I think you're forgetting this is the high season there. Alot of the hotels (Puerto Plata, Sosua, and Cabarete included) I contacted are already booked over christmas. Again, this applies to hotels or condos, as i want to stay right on the beach and not in a brothel. Everyones rates seem to be consistent at about $80USD per night being the cheapest. Sosua by the sea is $113.00USD a night. Villa Taina in Cabarete is booked. Maybe i've been looking at too many pictures of accomodations on-line, but it's all starting to look the same at this point.

I have found myself in the position of having to stay at one place for 5 nights and having to find another for my next two nights. It's going to be a pain in the ass to find a room for two nights on christmas morning right? Any suggestions, i'm here...
