If I had to criticize Maxim, I think it'd be fair to say that they are somewhat inconsistent in 2023 as far as their line-up is concerned. This goes to show that even a decade-long heritage means nothing much if the ladies don't play along for whatever reason. 20 girls on one day and 10 on the next made it somewhat of a gamble sometimes, to be honest.

But why advertise with services that do not match?

As Massimo correctly pointed out this has to be merely an SEO trick to get better rankings for this powerful keyword. Characteristics of Laufhauses are not at all what the Peepshow offers. A Laufhaus almost always has rooms on multiple floors and you can talk to the girl in her room before you decide to stay or not. In the Peepshow you have to invest a little cash before you can speak to the girl of your choice directly. You'll probably have to pay for each one the base fee although maybe there is a workaround.

Be it as it may in regards to the financial aspect, Peepshow Burggasse absolutely is not a Laufhaus. Trust me.

The more I think about it the less surprised I am. Most places suffer from a recession, kind of. Why would the "new kid on the block" get through a crisis better than the clubs with a legacy and experience.
