I don't know much about Switzerland, but I know in Germany (from "research) that plenty of other ethnicities including native Germans are represented in the sex scene. And you right that Austrian girls only work as escorts.

Reason 1: There aren't that many different "ethnicities"in the European Union. In Austria only citizens of the EU are allowed to register as a sexworker.
