On a recent stay in Vienna I paid two visits to Goldentime FKK sauna club, http://www.goldentime.at/. The club is situated at Karl Gunsam Gasse 1, 1110 Wien.

The easiest of way of reaching it is to take Tram 6 to the Geierecksatrasse stop in Geiselbergstrasse. Karl Gunsam Gasse is a side road leading off Geiselbergstrasse where an elevated motorway crosses it (at the tram stop). You can get the tram from the Westbahnhof, or from Reumanplatz metro station (line 1) or Enkplatz (line3). Alternatively Geiselbergstrasse station on route 7 of the Schnellbahn is a 5-minute walk (or one tram stop) away.

Opening hours are 11.00 – 04.00 and entrance is €80. Each session with a girl is €60 for 30 min.

On entering the club you pay the entrance fee of €80 at the cash desk. They don’t take credit cards, but the casino next door does (though it charges an exorbitant 7% commission). You have a band put on your wrist (to show you’ve paid I suppose), are asked your shoe size (no idea what mine is in continental sizes!) and are given a locker key attached to another wrist band. The key is for two separate lockers: one for your clothing (through a door on your left past the cash desk) and a safe for your valuables (on your left straight ahead from the entrance).

Then, proceeding past the safes, you come to the main open area of the club, which contains various different seating areas where the girls wait and you can relax or eat between sessions. On the right of the main area is an opening into the cinema, followed by the bar for free soft drinks. Beyond that are tables with a reasonable hot and cold buffet. At the end of the open area is a doorway leading to the private rooms. At the bottom left-hand end of the main area is door into small outdoor area, which wasn’t being used much when I was there as it was cold and dark on a late September evening. Also on the left side are saunas and steam rooms.

The girls sit around waiting for custom naked, or virtually so (eg topless with a ‘skirt’ that doesn’t actually cover anything much). The first night I went was a Friday and there were forty or more girls; the second time was a Sunday and there were considerably fewer.
