As a matter of fact there were 6 girls at Maxim yesterday but unfortunately Sibel, Virginia and the new hot Austrian one were busy all night. There were some whales who booked them for hours on end.

Personally I didn't get my turn either but of course I had no expectations going there as one shouldn't right after Christmas.

Babylon has been closed from 22nd December already and will open on the 7th of January again as far as I know.

So Funpalast is still open? It has been reported that this place will close down soon or was supposed to last Autumn. So why is this place still open? Has something changed or were the rumors wrong?

Boss said he decided to get rid of disrespectful people who would spend nothing and be disrespectful to the staff as a bonus. Allegedly, the girls never were happier and business seems to not have taken a hit by that measure and the overall level seems to be better now. I can neither confirm nor deny, I just repeat what I heard. It makes sense to me, though and if people do not value the open-door policy accordingly, why would they not make that change to weed out?

At the end of the day it is a business decision of the owner.

For us regulars it means nothing because obviously (and again, I asked to be sure) we will continue to NOT pay an entry fee. And this will be true for every returning customer. I don't know yet how it will be handled in the process but my best guess is that even if the bouncer doesn't know you and charges you the 20, the bar ladies or whoever is in charge will return it if they recognize you. Should be easy enough.

Something similar happened in Cape Town years ago when guys would walk in for the line up. Stare at the girls. Tell them they weren't attractive enough or make stupid price offers. They instituted a ver small door deposit. About $10 - and they took it off your visit or gave you a receipt for next visit. The 3rd time I went the madam said come in. I know you. Etc etc.

It makes sense. It not only helps the establishment it makes it better for the regulars who don't have to see these idiots annoying the staff.

It is what I assumed all along and what was bound to happen sooner or later. Allegedly it happened too many times that people would just enter and use the bathroom and then would leave without spending any money. Also, the fee is supposed to be somewhat of a screening procedure because people had been increasingly acted disrespectfully towards the ladies.

If I understand correctly the epidemic pretty much destroyed the scene in Vienna. Few years ago, maybe even ten, I was in the Aroma Tempel studio. The studio was great with a jacuzzi in one room. Is there anything similar in town right now?

Most people will not get your reference but I think I do, though. Most people don't seem to see how the sex industry has changed since the pandemic. Not a single club is the same since then.

Some examples:

Goldentime before Corona: half an hour 70€ - now 100 maybe but probably 150-200 if you are not a local regular customer.

Babylon before Corona: 1 hour 500 and 15-30 girls. Now 600 or 650 per hour and sometimes no available girls at all. Club closes at 02:00.

Funpalast before Corona: mildly successful, half hour 60€ - now girls charge what they want and club closure around the corner.

Maxim before Corona: no entry fee and 20-30 girls 200€ each hour. Now 10-15 girls (lineup has slowly grown for the better) 1 hour 220€.

What I want to say is that we have to deal with whatever cards we are dealt and enjoy the clubs who are still surviving. As clients we should not expect an impossible standard.

Yes, this is where several years of bad decisions, poor business model, and weak promotions lead or in other words pride comes before the fall.

And as a lesson for for other clubs that are struggling. Never make girls' services available to be be paid for with coupons. This is and was an embarrassment of the highest degree. Any kind of discounts and Black Friday Deals are inappropriate in this industry, in my opinion.

What you want as a club is gentlemen and not people looking for deals.

I was originally attracted to FP and Fresh (not too far away) specifically because they weren't Goldentime. They were more low-key and were far away from my work colleagues. The promotions and coupons can work as long as they don't affect the girls' net income. Fresh has the Video Rudi gangbangs, but that really hurt the girls who worked there. I used to watch the "regular girls" stand around upstairs and watch Rudi's girls take all their business. It's really hard to keep and attract good talent when you constantly pull the rug out from under them. Pretty soon, Vienna will be left with GT and Babylon (and maybe not even Babylon from what I've read). We'll be left with one over-priced sauna club and lots of really mediocre studios. Bummer.

No food anymore, no more bathrobes, the indoor pool is dry and soon to be shut down entirely and there never was an outdoor pool anyways. The strongest time of the year is usually December but there are a lot of signs that FP will close soon. I think in 2024 there will be no FP anymore.
