Baku is getting to normal night life. Infiniti club is not in the main stream area, mainly clubs or bars. Taxis will drive you free to the club but on the way back you have to pay to hotel taxi anyway (around 20 manat or more). It does not matter how close you live, you have to take the taxi back at the same rate. No hotel is at the walking distance. Hotel landmark, hotel Grand Europa are girl friendly. There are two clubs near hotel Europa but it is far from city life. You can try SayHi app to Suss girls. Please filter lady boys. Communicate in English and after talk insist on video call prior to finalising meeting time. Mostly ladies in 30's and few in 20's available. Bit of time to spend but you can have some thing in hand for the day time or in case you cannot visit to night clubs.

Visiting Baku in 1st week of December. Thank you all for information available here on last 2-3 pages. Planning to visit Ellips and Tunnel club late night, However travelling with group of friends and family. Are there any normal clubs with stage dances / lapdance etc which has regular crowd. Plan is to go early evening there with our girlfriends and later in the night some of us will escape to Ellips and take girls to other hotels nearby. Any suggestions on Lap dance club is welcome. Maybe I was lucky, but it is correct that there are a lot of ladyboys. Also many girls try to upsell. They first quote a price and then ask for more saying they need money, their mother or kid is sick etc.

Say Hi is great if you don't mind the ladyboys, the app is literally a mine field. You better off going to eclipse or infinity night clubs. Hundreds of very beautiful women in one place and the best part they are very approachable, I never got turned down by a Baku freelancers they are very well mannered compared to asian women. The only problems is the language barrier but there is always another girl nearby who can speak English and ready to help you negotiate and there isn't much negotiation as they kinda have a set price 400 manat for LT some girls will start higher hoping you don't know the going price but they will always accept the 400 and you going to have to negotiate how long you expect them to stay, they usually want to leave in the morning before sun rises especially the younger ones but 80% will agree to stay until the afternoon, personally I see no point in keeping them.

I've only been on SayHi for a week, and I'm by no mean a dating site expert, so take my words within these limitations:

My views on SayHi: if the lady wants a serious relationship or making new friends, it will be written in her description message. Looks to me than 90% of them are here to make money.

Clues I've observed:

- First, photos: partially naked, butts, lingerie, tight fitted clothes and sexy poses are quite straightforward tells.

- Second, questions: if she asks you personal questions right away, chances are she's looking for a boyfriend / husband. Usually they ask "Where are you from?" and "Are you in Baku now? My personal experience with this last question is that, when I say I'm not there yet, they drop the conversation. Which indicates they're looking for someone to meet right away, so for money.

You also get Whatsapp number very quickly (otherwise offer yours).

I've had 14 chats initiated so far (I'm keeping many potential contacts as reserve because of this apparent issue that if you're not in Baku yet, most are not interested). Half maybe the girl has initiated, half it was me (I filled my profile reasonably well and put 3-4 photos, to avoid looking like fake account).

Results:

- Some have not responded.

- Some I have ignored because of preferences based on their photos (or lack of), or saving them if nothing else comes.

- Some have stopped chatting after a few lines, typically after they asked if I was in Baku.

- 1 girl is hooked, sent me straight away photos of gifts she wants, then was flirting and teasing on Whatsapp, voice messages, audio call (to check if I'm real I assume), photos and videos of her. Just to be sure at the end I asked what would be for me if I bring her a gift she wants, and she confirmed she would "sleep and seeks".

- 1 is a Russian mother living in Baku and although she seems all for it I haven't concluded yet.

- 1 just an hour ago contacted me, I thought she was a scam but seems fairly legit (American working in Nigeria, currently in Baku, wtf), I asked what she was looking for and said "serious relationship", so we dropped it.

It's really difficult to assess their looks based on photos posted, so unless it's pretty clear she's not your taste I'd say go for the chat and find out on Whatsapp what shee looks like (they seem to send selfies right away. Have yours prepared to reciprocate).

Again, I'm newbie in dating apps (only the second I use, prevous was for Cambodia) and I struggle like you to figure it out. The way I do it, I try to establish some kind of rapport by conversing casually, then if things are not clear enough I'd suggest you just ask, without talking money necessarily (they are ways around, like if and where she wants to meet, for how long, and what you could do for her in exchange of her time, etc).

As said, I don't think you're going to offend many or any, SayHi seems to me to be used only for hookups.

I'll be happy to exchange experiences, I'm also eager to learn the tricks.
