I published in the old guide some details about Belgium, check out the archives, much of it is still true.

Roadside bars in the country side. well boys forget it, nearly no action there. Well sometimes there is good action to be found but that is not visible from the street side. So unless you know the address for good action and you have been refered by a regular patron there don't bother.
Most of the bars will serve women with a bottle attached that pours so called champagne - into the girl - and drains your wallet but not your scrotum. Dancing is sometimes ok and that's it!
Except probably in St Truiden where the mayor is trying to create a controllable RLD under the name Bouvelard de l'amour. An initiative I can only applaude.

How to get into te action then : the press (old reliable medium) and the net (maze of unimaginable depth your balls might have shrunken to the size of a lentil before you get some action).
When in Belgium get a copy of "Flirt" (in dutch for the northern half) or "Contacts International" (same booklet in french for the southern half) and look for adverts with a phone number.
prices vary from 75€ upwards.

You can also get a copy of the dutchwritten newspaper "Het Laatste Nieuws" or its sister the "Nieuwe Gazet" they carrry adverts for flemish and brussels areas ( northern half) I might report later on a frenchspeaking newspaper when I find one.
