Knowing that Rue D'Aerschot seems to be the preferred place to go, I just want to remember the forum about the area around Hooikaai and Rue Van Gaver near Rue de Laeken. Brussels is in Brabant region as far as I have understood. There will be overlap between the different sites so you could chose the site you think is best suited for your search.
