I thought I would write a quick note to fellow members on my recent experiences in Brussels. Nothing in itself is remarkable and it is perhaps rather mundane, reinforcing much of the prior knowledge in the forum that has so kindly and generously been given by other members.

I spent some time in the area to the left of Place Rogier, and also the RLD, and for variety's sake ventured north to Antwerp for my usual sampling of the flavours in that great city.

On my first Friday night I ventured to the left of Place Rogier where I encountered many street walkers. They were mostly of ok quality but I wasn't so tempted by these types of girls. A few of the transvestite looking ones around Rue de Laeken were actually quite scary and quite aggressive in their manner. For the Saturday I headed to Antwerp. The quality of the girls seemed a lot better and there have been improvements since my last visit earlier this year. It is also more discreet (but there were tourists that included normal women which wasn't so positive) but after a while it was just fellow mongers who always avoid eye contact, as is the code, so quite alright. In sum, I am reluctant to go to the Brussels RLD from hereon and will stick to Antwerp for that type of activity. 5th Station I will try again. Listening to the advice three posts down, I took the time to write about the two places I've been to before asking for help.

Well I am going to Brussels this weekend and would appreciate some suggestions.

I am not temted to go to RLD.

I myself withhold a big newbee report on a good place, and have not decided to publish or not.

Reason. I always try to help and give advice (South America- Colombia- Cali Reports #3276 and South America- Colombia- General info #3856, for some samples)

But Britisher and Combo is in my experience, part of the fewer part who are standup guys that actually give back to the forum, rather than just take, take and take more.

Some other forum have solved this by locking down the whole threads (you can not even read the info) if you are not a senior member, meaning, proving yourself by first giving info to the forum. Then accessing the locked thread info afterwards.

It's like a bank. You first have to put up the hand payment for that nice car, and then after, the bank will help you getting the money to get all you want.

Maybe a similar policy would work here as well, as well as bringing back some of the old contributors.
