Hi Everyone

Since this is my first post, I would just like to say thanks to all the people who have contributed with some invaluable information in these threads. Due to the excellent reports, I have been able to venture into my own Brussels adventures and now I feel I can share something that hopefully will be of benefit to others. Some of it might be a repeat of previous posters but I am talking from my own experience and from the past 2 months so hopefully I can confirm that certain things are still relevant

First, about Brussels and the main RLD. Brussels seems like a very diverse and multicultural city. There also appears to be a very high tolerance for ethnic minorities and everyone just seems to just get along. In the neighbouring road which runs parallel to Rue d'aerschot, you have the entire road filled with ethnic shops (with people that I believe were Turkish). There were familes walking together shopping and you could almost be mistaken to think you were in a Middle Eastern country!

Now, as a potential warning, I would like to make everyone aware of a pick-pocket scam that I have seen in operation on d'aerschot. There are 2 guys who walk up and down the road (and actually go as far as Rue de Linnestraat) who seem to have a good process going. One looks to be a lookout and one is the actual pick-pocketer. He tries to engage in conversation, acting very friendly and holds his hand out. Once you take his hand he pulls you close to him so you are side to side and appears to be doing some sort of a dance. You don't really think anything of it, it looks like he's being friendly, but he's actually just reached into your pockets and taken whatever you have in there. I have seen this happen twice and it almost happened to me. He asked if I have a cigarette, I said no. He tried to initiate conversation in French but I smiled and said, "sorry, no French" I knew what he was trying to do. By his eyes, he looked like he was on drugs, he was quite skinny. To be honest, if something like this had happened in my how city, London, I would have had no hesitation in taking him down. But, I was in a foreign country, in a place I did not know and potentially up against 2 drug addicts who would most likely be tooled up. Not worth the risk in getting into altercations. Please take this warning guys and be alert.

The actual RLD is a complete contrast to what is going on just a road away. It's a run down, littered, dirty road with grafitti over most walls. However, this almost seems to add to the atmosphere to the place. Now don't get me wrong, it doesn't look like the safest of places to be but if you keep your wits about you, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to spot potential trouble coming your way. Also, I have seen a couple of reassuring things there: there seems to be a police man with a dog who patrols the road, I suppose looking for drugs. And second, I have seen undercover Police working on the road and have seen them make a few arrests.

Remember, the majority of the people who are on the Rue d'aerschot are there for one reason: to go window shopping!

Now, the actual road is not padestrianised. So, you have cars driving along the length of the road. During the nights, this can get very distracting as you get a lot of young groups of guys driving up and down the road trying to negotiate with the girls. You do see occassionally, a passenger get out and go inside a room after lip talking from the car. In fact, when walking past several windows a lot of girls are actually concentrating on the cars that are passing as they seem to get a good response from them. In the numerous times I have been there, I have seen several police cars driving past and ogling the girls! I have to admit, being there gives me a natural 'high' and it's almost intoxicating seeing these lovely girls one after another with barely and clothes on offering their services to you.

I think I've been pretty happy with my choices so far in the RLD. I always look out for the girls who look directly at you, make eye contact and smile. I think they know who are potential customers and who aren't. Personally, I try and avoid the girls with the fake tans and extra make up, the rarely make any eye contact and some of them seem too busy with their mobile phones than caring about bringing in customers! There seems to be a lot of girls from Bulgaria, or at least that's what my taste keeps making me choose anyway!

The RLD is 24 hours and I have been there at all sorts of different times and have been impressed with the numbers there every time. Of course, you won't get better number than say Friday or Saturday nights but I have been there on a Monday morning at 6 am and there was still plenty of choice available. Now, most girls will share their rooms with other girls and I have to admit when you have 3 girls looking at you trying to lure you in, it can get a little intimidating at first. I guess once you realise how everything works, you are able to get over this initial fear.

I won't really go into too many details of what went on with the girls but more about what to expect when approaching the door. From my own experience, a lot of girls don't speak fluent English. But do know enough to say "Suck and F**k 40EUR" which is enough I suppose. Change positions costs 50 EUR but I haven't always chosen this option. Once you have agreed and gone in, the room is generally split into 2 or 3 areas which are cut off with curtains. I have always been on a bed in a session and for 2 of them I have been taken to a room at the back which had a door. The fact that there are other guys in who are doing the same thing as me in the same area has never bothered me to be honest, the whole concept of the RLD is pretty much a quickie.

"Pour la madame? " is often asked once in the room and instead of me asking how much, I have always pulled out the change in my pocket and held it out and let the girl decide how much I should give. Its usually 3 or 4 EUR.

Standard covered BJ and onto sex seems the norm apart from 1 girl, Sisi from Bulgaria who was VERY friendly and gave a really nice session with lots of kisses on the cheek and rubbing and I even got to suck on her breasts for a while also. Short, petite and brunette standing about 1/3 way into the street is about all the useful information I can give about her unfortanately. I must admit, I haven't really worked out the numbering system and haven't always looked. As far as hotels go, I have my 2 choices: hotel Bloom or the hotel Thon. Both are close enough to rld and you can get a decent rate (about 55 eur) if you book early enough. If you stay at the Thon, you are literally across the road from the Rue de Commercants, where the street walkers are. This isn't really my scene but I did go to have a look there. I must admit there are some very nice looking girls there and the seedyness can be appealing but in reality, I wouldn't even know how to initiate a conversation! If someone could let us know what the opening line should be. Considering we are not all French speakers. Would be very useful.

I will most likely venture into some outcall action as well but will need a little more research first. Websites like secret-angels and sexyy. Be only seem to cater for French speakers from what I have seen

Checkd out the Lagon, a very dissappointing place, not very clean (and no plastic slip ons available so you walk barefoot on a wet floor where others come in with street shoes). Two small bubble baths, a small sauna (only three wooden beds to lie on) and a steam room with no hose to wash down the seat. saw a guy jerking another one off in the steam room, so probably cum on the floor.
