Well, for reporting purposes, I decided to wander to the less-visited RLD streets near Rue d'Aerschot.

I had never strolled "Rue des Plantes" and "Rue Linné", but it was Friday night and I had checked the map so I figured "why not?".

In "Part I": I describe the "starting point". It's the intersection of Rue d'Aerschot and Rue Dupont. You get there from walking through the Gare du Nord, past all the platforms, and exit out the back door.

Huh? If you're like me you're probably wondering "Where are all the windows??" The windows in this area are far less dense than on the Rue d'Aerschot. On a Friday night I counted 11 open windows on Rue des Plantes along a two block stretch.
