Also avoid the top end of the Rue d'aershot walking away from the city. To pushy and they hammer on the windows like Amsterdam.

1) At the Gare du Midi (South Railway Station) there are a few "American" bars where working girls hang out together with bona fide clients. These are generally found on the Avenue Fonsny - and beware, urban renewal is likely to ruin this part of town some time soon.
