Having heard a lot about the Goldstands resort,I want to add it to my itenarry when I travel through Europe starting October. However all you guys who posted below can you tell me what hotel you guys stayed in and what the closest airport to this place is.Where else in Bulgaria do you recommend

I guess in Varna there are more ho's against lower rates.

I was at the Black Sea resort area "Golden Sands" last year and was "accosted" by working girls all the time. Very obvious which girls are working girls and which not. Found the Bulgarian/Russian *****s generally quite unappealing... some of them even atrocious! There were a few really hot ones though, and they wanted a standard non-negiotable 50 Euro. Also 10 for the hotel security, as some friends of mine who were working for a tourist agency there told me. I ended up not taking a working girl but hooked up with a 18-year old Swedish hottie tourist and after she left with a 18-year old Bulgarian virgin celebrating her high school graduation. So picking up local and tourist girls was more appealing than the ***** scene. Several German girls made advances on me but they were really not attractive so I didn't. Was disappointed that there were almost no Russian girls there... only Scandis, Germans and some Dutch.

Guys, going by car through Bulgaria you can find a lot of girls standing on streets and highways far away from the cities. I only can give a warning to take them for sex even price is cheap (10 USD full service) ! Mostly they are pretty gypsian girls, un-healthy, no protection, not clean ! You risk a lot if you stop for them also considering robbery etc ! I would never take one of them into my car, nor I would go with here into the corn field, be careful !

mmm I forgot to mention that in every larger resort area there are street walkers...by the dozens and by the hundreds.

personaly I avoid large crowed disco's or far away shady clubs.

If you go (in the summertime) after 19.00 at street the ho's will come to you by themselves,no problem.

watch out though for some crazy (drunken) russian pimps.....they usualy mean bad news when drunken.Offcourse if you have transportation you could visit Varna at night.....many bars,disco's and probably many non-pro girls arround just waiting for that fany westerner to take them into 'paradise"..(that is into the US or west-European country)

ho's in the sofia area seem to be more expensive.

I was in Bulgaria last year.
Slatni piatsi...at the black sea coast.

I paid 100 DM for one hour...also I had to pay 15 DM to the hotel reception guy to let me in with my girl.
Bulgarian girls are far prettier then Ruskies.

But they seldomly speak good english or german.

At night in the great resorts it is very safe.

I never felt unsave one miniute. And I don't speak bulgarian. Only Dutch,English,German and some spanish.

Bulgarian girls are pretty and everything's cheap in Bulgaria. But it's very dangerous at night. And if you don't speak Bulgarian you'll have hard times for sure. So your best bet is going to Turkey where you can find LOADS of girls working. Mostly from Ukraine, Russia, Romania, and such. Some Turkish girls too but they're more expensive. It's easier to find a hooker in Turkey (especially in Istanbul) and it's way safer.
