You are probably on the right track in renting and learning Bulgarian, I am a non Bulgarian and I have hard time communicating, you might just get by speaking English in Bulgaria, Bezplatno is more of miss than a hit, but anyways you might find success, my advice visit them but do not invite them to your apartment let me know how it goes, I am more a guy who goes for big gals, not slim trim gals.

Once again be careful, if your 1st instant says it is not safe to invite follow your instinct. I have been here on off 3 years no success.

After months of planning I'll finally be moving to Bulgaria next month, having decided on settling in Sofia where I'll be renting a furnished apartment.

I've started studying Bulgarian on my own the last few months, but I'm definitely still months away from being conversational, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get by in English as well as some canned Bulgarian phrases for basic tasks. I'm looking forward to seeing how many numbers from Bezplatno I'll need to call before finding someone who speaks English.
