Sorry, mixed up names, for Venus read Velvet. Velvet in Slaveykov Bvd which is south wesy city centre, 5 minutes walk from Hilton & Kempinski. Erotik Bar is in Hemus hotel south east city centre.
All night from $100, maybe $150 if leave club very early. In my experience beautiful, good english and tend to stay until noon the next day. Can then make daytime arrangements cheaply or for nothing (meanibg small shopping). Remember street address above will be in cryllic on streetsigns and most taxis will not recognise in this format. Keep club phone no with you and get taxi to ring them for directions in Bulgarian if any difficulty.

no i am not from sofia. agree sheraton and us/western hotels are overpriced but you can get cheap (< $100) special deals.
never stayrd in a bg hotel, hate the hassle when bringing a girl in. most big hotels have own strip bars but usually very tame ie sheraton, kempinski, merlin and hilton. other places are peep show bar - lavov most st, club pigalle - in hotel radisson (in the square around this hotel are many clubs).
best value, as before, are venus and erotic bar.

Last time I was staying at hotel Princes. I found there some broshures for hotel Merilin. Sex was all over this broshoure... Strip bar, mirror rooms etc. Does anyone heard about this hotel?
I`ve been in Shereton and its overpriced. Can you recomend some good BG hotels and strip bars ?

Sofia is a great spot. US and Euro hotels allow girls in no problem. Bulgarian hotels insist they register, not a problem just a bit embarassing. Even good hotels can be cheap ie Sheraton from 100 euro - look for special deals.
Most hotels have strip clubs attached, usually overpriced and knickers on.
Best for price and quality are Velvet tel 088531336 and Erotik Bar Tel 9634761. 3 strippers on runway all times. Your drink $3, girls $7 - 10. Girls go back for night from $100 to $150, depending on time. All night is all night. All my experiences as good if not better than anywhere else. You pay girlin club before leaving. Not an issue in cluba above. I do not give addresses for above as they are in normal alphabet and taxi drivers do not read, only cryllic. If taxi driver does not know by name, take out your mobile, ring club and thay will direct taxi. Better still, if not in good hotel, walk into top hote, have a pint then walk out like staying there into hotel taxi. They speak English and know all good places, like discos where students go.
Have many TelNos for girls in Apts ($25 - $35 per hour) if you want them, but poor English. Sofia is very safe.
Incidentally,unlike most EE clubs girls do not go to you when you sit down. You will have a waitress at your table. Watch as all do their strip routines and when you see one you fancy as waitress to send her to your table. Buy her a drink, talk etc. If you like ask her to go with you. If you prefer another, just thank her when her dring if finisher and she will leave, no offence taken. Do not go over to where all girls are sitting. Only ask waitress. Peculiar, but that is their system.

Just buy Bulgarian Newspaper "Noshten Trud" available everywhere (of course in cyrillian language, but spelling is like this). In this newpaper you find about half side full of advertising of girl's agencies, a lot of them speak English or German. Price depends on what you want but should be between 25-60 USD, exiting young and beautiful girls, they come to your hotel or you can visit them. Wonderful experience I had there, it is great fun and best service and good chance to enjoy with 2 girls. If you like one of them ask for her mobile number and meet her privately, you can save another 10 USD.

Do not trust the 'bell boy' of your hotel to find someone for you. He'll bring some (low time) SW to your hotel and charge you a bundle! Actually, hotels are much overprized. You find cheaper ones outside the center but still a short commute on a bus or tramp.

Your best bet is to follow up on your own. It may take a couple of days to find your way around but it would be worth it. Most hotels have ¡®some kind of¡¯ a club. You could stop by and take a look and if you don¡¯t see anything you like you could move on to the next hotel. Taxies could be (really) cheap if you are alert and chose the right one. There is also a magazine with ads for local houses but in Bulgarian language. You may find someone to translate or even make a phone call for you. Again, you must be discrete and find the right person. Don¡¯t let your guards down. The going price (for tourists) is 35 to 40 German marks (one mark= one local currency, I forgot the name) for ¨ö hr and 50 marks for full hour (twice). Gals from the clubs will ask for 50 and 100. Do not take them seriously. Move on to the next group. Please do not overpay, ..... don¡¯t spoil it for the others. ... Local girls are so much fun too. Always carry protection.

Be aware of local gangs and mafia. Keep a low profile and don¡¯t be flashy or you could get hurt. There are a lot of professional hustlers who would pretend to be friendly and caring but they are after your money and only your money. Be extra careful and be alert. Screen them as much as possible.
